You won't be disappointed! The amenities are very thoughtful and practical. The studio is comfortable, and very clean. Elaine and Carter are friendly and helpful with great tips about visiting Volcanoes NP and Volcano Village.

Our stay at the Fern Studio was excellent. The hosts, Elaine and Carter, were so incredibly kind and very communicative. Providing instructions early prior to our arrival and gave us lots of tips while we were there. Especially for the National Park next door.

Very friendly hosts and a neighborhood rooster! The place was extremely clean, and pretty convenient to Volcanos National Park. Eating-out options in Volcano town were extremely limited, so maybe consider going into Hilo (about 25 mins)... not the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in but definitely not the worst either. Very quiet.

Cute little place to stay for a few days. Small quarters but worked perfect since we weren’t there much.
