Lovely newly refurbished room. Great restaurant, food delicious- service was a bit patchy but didn’t impact on enjoyment. Brilliant for outlet shopping just down the road. Plenty of parking, relaxing areas , good gym facilities. Great stay and such good value with a gorgeous full breakfast included! Top knotch. Definitely will return.

Stay here quite often as I work in the area. Large, safe car park (free). Friendly staff, nice atmosphere. Room clean and modern. Buffet breakfast from 6:30 which is always nice with plenty of choice.

No major complaints, room was great, shower base had some sort of stain not sure if that is normal or not. (don't think it would come out tbh unless replaced). Cleaners do a great job. Entrance into the car park is awful. Does require major resurfacing.

The staff at the Holiday Inn were so friendly and helpful during our stay! We had an issue with noisy people in the room next to us which was resolved immediately when reported to Reception. The breakfast is delicious and great value and the bar area and choice of beers was great.

The hotel was advertised as having a pool ! So me and my partner had planned a spa weekend away . We was so disappointed and upset that the pool was permanently closed and we had not been formed . I would have stayed else where ! The hotel is clean , great breakfast and great staff , but not the weekend away I booked !

Well everything was good as usual, the staff and cleanliness. But the main reason for us stopping at this hotel is that me and the missus like to use the facilities, pool, sauna, jacuzzi and steam room. But when we went to use it was told they are no longer open for that although the web page clearly states that they are. That's the main reason we use this hotel. Remove it from your web site because that's wrongful advertising. Is my advice to the hotel.

We have stayed in this hotel a few times before and we will continue coming back. Staff are so friendly and helpful. The hotel has been improved to a very high standard. Breakfast is excellent and it is so clean!

I've stayed in this venue a few times for work. Unfortunately this time there was hair in my shower and on the wall when I went to go and use it, but as it was late when I noticed I couldn't be bothered to move my room as I had unpacked and had an early start. If you do have an issue with your room let them know while you're on site regardless of the time, as they won't acknowledge anything if you bring it to their attention after.

I hate to give a bad review but on this occasion its warranted. I took my friend for a spa weekend to celebrate her passing her exams. It was no spa. The jacuzzi was out of action. The sauna had brown water spots on the floor. Everytime someone left the steam room it went off. The shower was so weak, and one didn't even have on a shower head. There was no facilities for someone in a wheelchair steps everywhere even to get water and up to the steam room. The bed was terrible it actually creeked when you got into it! I was not offered a disabled room even tho i presented in a wheelchair. The curtains don't shut out the light because they don't curl at the corners to block it. The breakfast was tasteless and the plates were dirty, when you pick one up and run your hand under the backside it has dried on food stuck to it! They even served gone off cucumber. I wouldn't say the staff was friendly except for Laura, i moved rooms three times she was brilliant on my first move after that i didn't meet any other nice person. I noticed they don't clean behind the bathroom doors. The first one had plastic bits that you cut off new clothes, the second one had dust and a piece of cotton to show it was not done! I even had dead bugs on the windowsill. Imagine they had ample parking bays and only 3 disabled ones that was hard to get into, at times i had to unload myself with my wheelchair and shopping and make it up the sloping hill. I am so sorry but i just wouldn't stay there again.

The room was outstanding. Comfortable bed, fridge, safe, chairs and a clean shower room. The shower could do with a descale, as the water was going in all directions from the waterfall shower head. The main problem with the room was that it was noisy. The fridge was in a cupboard which made the fridge more noisy than it should have been. Everytime the thermostat switched it off or on, it went with a bang! Also we could hear everything the people in the next room were doing ( as in talking,making a cuppa, their tv etc). Such a shame as it really let the room down.

I was given a room which was only partially renovated but still charged full price. The room was freezing when I arrived. Radiator, (which was old) was not on and the windows were letting in the cold as they were also old and not very good.

Adjacent rooms very noisy. Superior room was not great. The hotel almost feels too big for the bar and food areas, people wandering the corridors shouting down their phones, very strange place. No air con or heating, two tiny radiators left in the room instead.

The staff were great, the facilities clean however the bed was so uncomfortable it seemed to have a bar in it which made sleeping impossible. The dressing table area needs a mirror so it can be used for doing make up etc. as the light near the large mirror isn’t bright enough.

Bland building, in keeping with Motorway hotels. Room was comfortable BUT ... Curtains no not cover the window, so woken up by daylight, when the sun starts to rise. If Premier Inn can use black out curtains, that cover the whole window, surely the Holiday In should be able to.

From the warm welcome we received on checking in to the friendly goodbye we enjoyed everything about our stay. Breakfast was perfect and the lady in charge was helpful, friendly and very accommodating to us even though we were late to breakfast. Everywhere was spotless throughout the hotel

The staff were all fantastic and we really appreciated the reception staff giving us plates/cutlery/condiments for food in our room. Huge thanks to Anna on reception for contacting me and keeping my medication safe when I left it behind. Overall a really pleasant and enjoyable stay. Will definitely stay again if we’re in the area.

staff were wonderful I was put in room 313 but after I turned off the tv I could here a noise coming from somewhere like an extractor fan but even with the time being 23:50 it was no trouble for them to find me a different room breakfast was great and at 6:30 down side for me was the mattress was just so hard even with me being over 15 stone it did not sink in one bit

Close to the M1 and as we were visiting family it was in the right place and there was shopping nearby which was excellent. The hotel was easy to find and everything was excellent especially the staff who were very polite and helpful. When we visit again in the new year we will be staying here again.

Book in easily friendly staff on reception also polite staff friendly throughout the stay. Good sized room and bathroom and the fridge was a bonus as tea and coffee facilities were topped up daily.

Soap containers were empty. Took 2hours of multi requests for soap. Apparently all rooms have NO AC. Room was 27c. Minimal ability to open the window- so almost no ventilation. Soap containers were empty. Took 2hours of multi requests for soap. Apparently all rooms have NO AC. Room was 27c. Minimal ability to open the window- so almost no ventilation. The staff at the Holiday Inn were so friendly and helpful during our stay! We had an issue with noisy people in the room next to us which was resolved immediately when reported to Reception. The breakfast is delicious and great value and the bar area and choice of beers was great.

The reception person did offer to help, and in general the staff were really helpful and friendly. On the Saturday night there was a very noisy guest, drunk and insisting on visiting various friends around the hotel (there had been a wedding earlier). Staff asked him three times to be quiet - it was that bad! The other two nights were very quiet apart from the room door locks; it's impossible to close the door quietly.

Lovely newly refurbished room. Great restaurant, food delicious- service was a bit patchy but didn’t impact on enjoyment. Brilliant for outlet shopping just down the road. Plenty of parking, relaxing areas , good gym facilities. Great stay and such good value with a gorgeous full breakfast included! Top knotch. Definitely will return.

Close to the M1 and as we were visiting family it was in the right place and there was shopping nearby which was excellent. The hotel was easy to find and everything was excellent especially the staff who were very polite and helpful. When we visit again in the new year we will be staying here again.

Stayed before taking on a running event locally the next day and was spot, Spacious clean and quiet rooms. Just off the motorway so not to far out our way. Breakfast was lots to choose from shame we had to be away early to full enjoy it all.

We've stayed at this Holiday Inn several times to break up long car journeys. The rooms are comfortable, there's free parking and a great breakfast! The staff in the bar and on breakfast are so nice and helpful and make the stay really pleasant.

Room was great, apart from the hanging lights which were too low and kept banking your head on it. The restaurant was a joke, slow service and cold food for dinner, breakfast was one of the worst buffet breakfast's I have ever experienced.

We had an accessible room with twin beds and a wet room shower. It was lovely and clean. I am never sure why the accessibility bathrooms are never quite right in their design. Whilst there was a shaver socket, there was no shelf near the sink to put things on. The area that had space had the towels place there but there was not enough protection from the shower curtain to stop water getting to that area until I altered the way the shower curtain was hung to keep the towels dry and our wash bags but that then left the floor by the sink getting splashed ! The actual sink was very small and set at a height for wheelchair use but you’d have trouble getting a wheelchair in there. The bathroom needed to meet the needs of my partner which the shower seat provided did but it was difficult for me, his carer, to wash at such a small low sink ! Mirror did not have condensation clearing finish which was disappointing! It was fine for a one night stop over but not for a longer stay. We enjoyed the menu choice in the evening and the food was tasty and served well. Breakfast was the same, very helpful staff and a good selection.
