All I can say is WOW!! The hotel is so beautiful, tge lobbies, sitting areas in and outside, the pool, the restaurants! The gardens are beautiful, walking the garden felt like a fairyland. The staff go far and beyond excellent.

We had an unforgettable stay at Hotel Santa Caterina. The property is breathtaking, perched on a cliff with panoramic Amalfi Coast views and a private elevator leading to a serene private beach. There was a mix-up with our initial room, but the staff handled it with professionalism and quickly moved us to a beautiful Junior Suite with a stunning sea view. Service was exceptional throughout — from the concierge to the restaurant team. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea was truly magical. Once settled, our stay was flawless. Highly recommended for anyone seeking luxury, elegance, and relaxation in Amalfi. We can’t wait to return!

Bucket list property that exceeded my high expectations! Site and staff were over the top gracious and welcoming. Every level of service was impeccable. Hotel views are world class, upgrade from balcony to private terrace was so very much appreciated, the included breakfast was massive and the most extraordinary quality and quantity, the service was bot ever present and incredibly discreet. Loved our interactions with the front desk staff, who all seemed to act as concierges! Bellman fussed over every little detail to ensure our comfort in transportation needs for our luggage to and from and for our little jaunts around the corner into downtown Amalfi, or up the hill to begin the Path of the Gods. The gardens, the scents, the candlelight in the evening, the views from every secret garden and terrace, the glass elevator beckoning you to the pool below and sea beyond. Hotel Santa Caterina is everything!

The hotel is so beautiful. It is situated right at the beach but high up so you have a grand view of the sea. Very elegant and beautiful interior. Excellent restaurants and very pleasant staff. The service is outstanding.

The beautiful property includes a pool area with fantastic lunch and dinner restaurants, including a Michelin Star restaurant, which was terrific. We really enjoyed the property, which had a great pool and restaurant staff. However, our experiences with the front desk and concierge staff left us with a lot to be desired. The front desk staff appeared to lack any sense of organization and communication among the staff. For example, when we were checking out, we had a ferry departing from Amalfi for Capri, and they said they had arranged the luggage transportation to the port (about .8 kilometers from the hotel. At Twenty minutes before the ferry was scheduled to leave, there was no car and no communication to us on what was going on. Luckily, we found a water taxi to take us from the hotel port to the ferry port. Still, because of the time, the water taxi had to dock illegally in order for us not to miss the ferry - it was literally a "diving catch" and not a great experience. That was one example of several of the front desk/concierge not being organized or communicating effectively with guests. Would I go back? Absolutely! Beautify property! We know now that we have to arrange all our transfers despite the staff offering to do so.

If you’re looking for a truly amazing luxury vacation experience, this is the place. Santa Caterina is top notch in every way. The hotel is absolutely stunning and the staff could not be more attentive. The room was absolutely beautiful. The heated, salt water pool just steps from the sea was fantastic. The breakfast had every option you could image and the service was impeccable. If I could give 10 stars I would. Thank you for a wonderful experience. This was hands down the best hotel I’ve ever stay at.

Incredible property, rooms, staff and service. Extremely difficult for dining if you're vegan as the restaurants have very limited options. You can only eat pasta with tomato sauce, risotto, vegetable soup, or a salad so many times. This typically wouldn't be a big deal, but the surrounding area also has very limited options for vegans. Again, no big deal if you're there for a couple of days. Anything longer than that and you'll likely be wishing So, this hotel is so great and the area is amazing, but if you're vegan plan accordingly. We suggest a shorter stay, or bring food with you.

This was the most amazing hotel we have ever stayed at. Very romantic and the staff could not have been nicer or more attentive. Multiple areas to explore and take pictures. The breakfast was the most spectacular I have ever seen and the 5 course dinner was a lifetime memory. You cannot miss with this hotel.

The staff and the property was amazing. Their service exceptional. Simone was very helpful and even helped plan our day out. Truly truly amazing, one of the best hotels and service we came across in Italy. Even St.Regis couldn't compare to the service here.

Bucket list property that exceeded my high expectations! Site and staff were over the top gracious and welcoming. Every level of service was impeccable. Hotel views are world class, upgrade from balcony to private terrace was so very much appreciated, the included breakfast was massive and the most extraordinary quality and quantity, the service was bot ever present and incredibly discreet. Loved our interactions with the front desk staff, who all seemed to act as concierges! Bellman fussed over every little detail to ensure our comfort in transportation needs for our luggage to and from and for our little jaunts around the corner into downtown Amalfi, or up the hill to begin the Path of the Gods. The gardens, the scents, the candlelight in the evening, the views from every secret garden and terrace, the glass elevator beckoning you to the pool below and sea beyond. The beautiful property includes a pool area with fantastic lunch and dinner restaurants, including a Michelin Star restaurant, which was terrific. We really enjoyed the property, which had a great pool and restaurant staff. However, our experiences with the front desk and concierge staff left us with a lot to be desired. The front desk staff appeared to lack any sense of organization and communication among the staff. For example, when we were checking out, we had a ferry departing from Amalfi for Capri, and they said they had arranged the luggage transportation to the port (about .8 kilometers from the hotel. At Twenty minutes before the ferry was scheduled to leave, there was no car and no communication to us on what was going on. Luckily, we found a water taxi to take us from the hotel port to the ferry port. Still, because of the time, the water taxi had to dock illegally in order for us not to miss the ferry - it was literally a "diving catch" and not a great experience. That was one example of several of the front desk/concierge not being organized or communicating effectively with guests. Would I go back? Absolutely! Beautify property! We know now that we have to arrange all our transfers despite the staff offering to do so.

If you’re looking for a truly amazing luxury vacation experience, this is the place. Santa Caterina is top notch in every way. The hotel is absolutely stunning and the staff could not be more attentive. The room was absolutely beautiful. The heated, salt water pool just steps from the sea was fantastic. The breakfast had every option you could image and the service was impeccable. If I could give 10 stars I would. Thank you for a wonderful experience. This was hands down the best hotel I’ve ever stay at.

Incredible property, rooms, staff and service. Extremely difficult for dining if you're vegan as the restaurants have very limited options. You can only eat pasta with tomato sauce, risotto, vegetable soup, or a salad so many times. This typically wouldn't be a big deal, but the surrounding area also has very limited options for vegans. Again, no big deal if you're there for a couple of days. Anything longer than that and you'll likely be wishing So, this hotel is so great and the area is amazing, but if you're vegan plan accordingly. We suggest a shorter stay, or bring food with you.

This was the most amazing hotel we have ever stayed at. Very romantic and the staff could not have been nicer or more attentive. Multiple areas to explore and take pictures. The breakfast was the most spectacular I have ever seen and the 5 course dinner was a lifetime memory. You cannot miss with this hotel.

This hotel is exceptionally beautiful. Even though it is in a town, it is like a vertical resort as it is on many levels going down to the sea. We enjoyed every day walking down along the path through the terraced levels down to the pool. You pass through a stunning lemon grove along with way. Only take the lift if you have to! There are also so many gorgeous spots and gardens to lounge and have a drink. The food and service at all then restaurants is outstanding. My husband is vegan and was grateful how well he was accommodated.

The hotel is well situated on the outside of Amalfi town with good views and in a convenient location. We drove from another part of Italy and the drive was fun, although GPS isn't the best sometimes and its easy to make a wrong turn, so be prepared. The hotel is not for everyone, i would not recommend it to anyone on a budget. However, if money is not an issue for you, this is one of the better hotels. We stayed in the Villa area which is a short golf cart ride away from the hotel itself. Here you have your own private pool area. Our hot tub was not working which wasn't great, but the room was nice. Room was well stocked with welcome gifts and food/drinks and mini bar was good too. Hotel is very romantic, the restaurant is great for dinner, and the lounge before dinner and after is a great place for a drink. We would stay here again if we come to Amalfi.

The hotel is well situated on the outside of Amalfi town with good views and in a convenient location. We drove from another part of Italy and the drive was fun, although GPS isn't the best sometimes and its easy to make a wrong turn, so be prepared.
