Historical hotel in a great location. We arrived on a Sunday and this means many things are closed. At the hotel it meant the restaurant was closed, this also means no room service available. The bar was closed which was a shame and it looks amazing in the photos. In terms of cleanliness the room was nice however the bin in the bathroom was not emptied and had used cotton buds and wipes which wasnt nice. The shower would not drain quickly enough meaning the shower would overflow. Breakfast was nice had both items at the buffet and select items made from the chef. Very good gym facilities, pretty much brand new equipment.

Fint og gjennomført hotell. Perfekt beliggenhet. Hyggelig personale. God seng. Lite støy. Eneste minuset er at det ikke er aircondition på rommet. Veldig bra frokost. Jeg savnet kun kjeks til de gode ostene. Baren er verdt et besøk. Gode drinker, hyggelig atmosfære og god service. Ville lett valgt dette hotellet igjen!

Alt var veldig bra utenom heisen som ikke virket. Kjøpte også noe i butikken hvor jeg måtte be om å få pose (i noe som strengt tatt burde vært pakket inn). Ellers veldig god seng, hyggelig personale og kjempebra frokost.

Property is probably the best option there is but I try not to consider a leveraged situation. The front desk lady on check in was quite pleasant, which was the one staff member with this attitude. The breakfast team didn’t speak or acknowledge us once. The second morning we ate breakfast elsewhere even though it was included in the rate . No wash clothes are available for the bathroom. This isn’t acceptable for a hotel accommodating an international guest pool. It’s also really not hard to supply them. There was no bar or restaurant available on Sunday .

The atmosphere is great! Cosy room, and everything is both historic and modern at the same time. In a way few others succeed with. The reception is super helpful and present. The bar serves very good cocktails. There is a gym, with modern equipments. Only minus, is the lack of a sauna. The big thing to improve is the breakfast. The made on order menu is not that good, the waiting time is long and why ask what you would like on you omelet if you always get the same thing. Breakfast doesn’t meet the expectations from the rest of the hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Victoria. The hotel is spacious, clean and elegant. We had a family room with a queen bed and sofa bed for the kids.l, both were comfortable. There was plenty of space for all of our suitcases and we did not feel cramped. The breakfast was amazing and there are plenty of food options in walking distance from the hotel. There was a parking garage down the street that also had electric vehicle charging stations. Overall a great hotel and would easily book here again.

Pent hotell, dessverre små rom og bad. Var bare en dusjvegg på badet så vannet spruter over alt. Rengjøringen på rommet stod ikke til forventningene. Vi fant uåpnet sjokolade på gulvet, det lå også en åpnet leppomade/krem på gulvet under vasken. Gulvteppet hadde også mye flekker.

We liked all things except for the fact that the room was not sound insulated So we heard foot steps and conversations in the evening, it sounded like people were in the same room. We discovered also that the house keeping supplies were being kept next to our room which may explain the noise.

Very nice, historic hotel. Great location, nice bar, wonderful breakfast. Our only issue was that the room was hot, with no way to cool. The thermostat seemed to be totally unresponsive and an open window invited either very loud (in spite of high quality earplugs) street noise and music (weekends) or construction noise (weekdays). Made it really difficult to sleep comfortably.

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Rooms are very comfortable and the views over the fjord lovely. The hotel receptionist was so helpful and friendly and I cannot commend her more highly.

Victoria Hotel is ideally situated when staying in central Stavanger. Walking distance to everything. Room was spacious, comfortable bed and great pillows. I’ve been travelling in Europe for the past 8 weeks and their buffet breakfast is the best so far, providing a great variety and beautiful presentation. I would definitely recommend it. As it is an older hotel, the walls are thin.

It is an old hotel that has been modernised but not all that well. Especially for a hotel as expensive as this. For instance the showers spray water in all directions making the bathroom wet. The doors of the rooms locked with difficulty. There are no safes and no phones in the rooms.

The Hotel Victoria is a great option for being in the absolute center of Stavanger, on the harbor and just minutes from the restaurants, shops and bars of the old town. The downside is it can be noisy and a bit dirty as most of the bars have outdoor seating and the noise and drinking goes late into the evening. The hotel is upscale and offered one of the best breakfast buffets we experience in our 3-week trip in Norway. Lots of options and we always made up a lunch bag each day. Great rooms and upscale bathroom amenities. Definitely a place we would stay at again or recommend to friends.

The breakfast coffee must improve. It is like brown water and even when you order a cappuccino it is still not a proper coffee but some kind of powder dissolved in hot water. Honestly do invest in a proper Italian coffee machine asap 🙏

Ærverdig og fint hotell. Litt å gå på når det gjelder renhold. Håpløs gammeldags dusj som spyler ned hele badet. God frokost, men litt trangt om plassen og en aldeles grusom cappuccino.

It’s a very nice hotel with history. The lobby and breakfast area are beautiful. Breakfast has variety of food, and everything was delicious. The best hotel breakfast I have had. The room was nice and clean, but I regretted that I didn’t choose a room with a view. Only we could see was other buildings from our room. It’s located by the colorful street. I just walked around in the morning. It was nice. It looked like there are some nice cafes, restaurants and shops. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to check that out. I’d stay again if we come back to Stavanger.
