Staff is very helpful and allows us to park our car for 3 more hours after check out. Toilet seat needs to be fixed.

Abbey Lodge is a budget hotel that does everything it sets out to do. The staff were friendly; the room clean and adequate, if not spacious; the bed comfy; the en-suite clean and suitably equipped. Parking was a bonus. Good value and met my needs. Would stay again.

Bathroom small but clean. However, - toilet seat broken, only one towel, no bath mat - dangerous! Furniture old, broken. No carpet. Adequate coffee making facility. Best thing in the room was the TV.

The hotel and its staff should be shut-down as it does not meet the hygiene or even appropriate living standards. They mention parking as free but charge £10 when you get there. Awful experience.

When arrived instantly got asked for £10 for parking when even though there isn’t a car park just parking on path outside front of hotel. Was clearly a care home previous and still smell like a care home. And top it off in the morning my Van was blocked in making me late for work!

This is the nastiest place I've ever stayed in my life. Please see the picture of the comforter on one of the beds. There was zero toilet paper. We had to take some from a pub nearby. We never saw anyone that worked there. Calling the shower a trickle would be generous. And the hot water tap would burn you every time you turned around. It was really loud outside at night too. The beds and pillows could not have been less comfortable. I know this place is cheap, but I would recommend staying elsewhere. I'm a fool for not reading reviews first.

Hotel was not clean told us at the last min we had to pay for parking on there web site it says free breakfast which we got told when we was there that they stopped that there was so much noise from people above when they moved us to another room they had no tv remote so couldnt watch tv when asked we was told to get up and press the bottons then still didnt work properly rubbish left in the room no toilet paper never again

Definitely not worth the £75 they charged for the night. Grotty room, old furniture, dirty walls, useless blinds that do not block-off the light, the noisiest shower fan I have ever heard (the neighbours must have cursed me). the staff was nice and the area quiet, but sadly this is the only positive point. Feels more like a run down student dorm than a hotel. At £30 a night that would have got a better rating from me, but when I spend £75, I expect a minimum in terms of the room (and trust me I am not difficult).

The bed was the only saveing feature...but if you want a shower with decent water temperature and pressure this place is not for you. Not only were pictures very deceptive with how small the room actually was but there was literally a gash in the wall and wall paper ripped..this i can live with but what annoyed me the most was the shower was either scolding or cold freezing. Would never recommend. Also emailed them weeks prior as i had a question about luggage before check in time...before my holiday and had no response at all which turned out to be fine when we got there, but would of been nice to have someone reply. Ok its on the cheaper side but theres a certain standard when you class yourself as a hotel. Especially when its non refundable. Hate leaving reviews like this. But very disappointed.

Property was in very poor condition, over property was not maintained or adequately decorated, facilities in room were an old scaley kettle 2 mugs and two teabags,lead onshower did not work , water from shower either was freezing cold or roasting hot. Beds were clean and also towels.good cone toons to two tube stations. Overall just accomodation to stay a night if you are desperate then leave quickly.

The bedroom window which was broken, couldn’t be shut and was facing the road. The sheet was visibly soiled in different places. There was hair in the bathroom and shower in more than one place. The tiles in the shower & the floor of the shower was visibly dirty and looked orange brown.

Booked as this was close to shops, but this was a huge mistake. There were several issues with the room and if I had the money I would have instantly gone elsewhere. The bed was uncomfortable The door jammed and didn't properly close without force I didn't feel safe using the wardrobe as it looked broken The light was bright white with no lampshade The mug provided for tea making was dirty, and there was nothing to stir with and no milk The floor was uneven and chipped, and looked like it hadn't been hoovered I found a water stain on the ceiling The bathroom was tiny and smelly, and this was because there was mold in the fan and in the drawers under the sink. The sink was also so tiny it was barely usable No towels were provided

It is very a dirty hotel. The floor and beds are dirty. The cattle is disgusting, I can not use it.

Mouse droppings on the pillow, pillow as hard as a brick. Tiny bathroom with very little room. Dust all over the place and when opening the window could smell all the smoke coming in from people smoking outside. No towels given.

Not a good place to go. I found dozens of tiny brown spots on my sheets and the whole room felt like it was falling apart. Not worth it at all

It was ok to stay for one night but thats it, Wallpaper falling off Paint crumbling off wall Live wires under the double bed wrapped in tape Limescale on bath and sink. Pillow was like puttin head onto a slab of concrete. Matress was comfy tho

Wow. Mould in the bedrooms, paper thin walls (loved listening to someone burping and laughing all night), hard uncomfortable beds, the vague feeling of having my organs harvested. 1/10.

TV damaged (has lines down the screen) Very noisy location through the night We requested a lower floor room due to mobility issues, but our room was on the 3rd floor. Don't think I would stay there again.

Pictures on the website don't show the type of room you'll get when you arrive. It is functionable, but desperately needs updating / maintenance.

Bad service, dusty old house thats barely standing and the room was in desperate need of repairs and a deep clean. The bathroom was ridiculously small with multiple hairs throughout, and the walls were crumbling, the tv didnt work, the fridge wasnt plugged in so unless and the curtains were ripped and hanging. They could do with lamps aswell as only the main light to use.

We could not stay at this place ,it is nothing as is shown in the picture. Even though we called before arriving , no one answered the door.

The manager sold my room to another person for a higher price despite I booked it and paid for it. I was left with no option except to spend the night on the streets!!!

The hotel is inexpensive, clean and comfortable. It's located in a leafy part of Ealing near the common and not too far from the Ealing Broadway tube.

Wasn’t the best. Bed and bathroom clean but room wasn’t that clean, grubby decor. Check in ok as there was someone on the premesis but no one answered the phone or replied to messages sent through Expedia raising questions about check in before arrival. Quiet and well situated. Was a bed for the night

To be honest we were dreading staying here after reading the reviews but it was too late after we had booked and paid upfront...and budget and time didnt allow for anything else! And i have to be honest we were pleasantly surprised. I don't know if other people are expecting the Ritz on a backpackers budget...but there is nothing wrong with it. I have very high standards in my own home and i was more than happy to stay here for the night. The room was clean,the sheets were fresh and clean and the bed was comfortable (rock hard but i like that) The bathroom was clean and there was one hand towel and toilet roll. There were tea and coffee facilities but no cups...maybe this was an oversight but im sure we could have asked for some but we had flasks so didnt mind. There is a garden out the back which they are obviously trying to tidy up but its pleasant enough for a cigarette break if you need it and we saw squirrels running around which the kids loved. There are 2 friendly dogs at the property which was also a bonus for us. Its a 10 minute walk at most from Ealing Broadway just through the highstreet and in a lovely residential area. Its a 10 miwalk in the opposite direction then to Ealing common station so perfectly located for transport...we were going ro Wembley. We walked home at 2am with 2 young kids and felt perfectly safe...its a lovely area with beautiful houses and commons. So all in all i would give the place a thumbs up and definitely stay here again if needed.

Location.Its quite place

Advertised as a b&b but no breakfast ,it was a bit grubby but bed was clean and bathroom was too ok for one nigjts stay ,if you want a breakfast we found a good place in the precinct

Not sure if this is the fault of the hotel, or the booking site, but i paid for bed & breakfast, yet there was no sign of any catering whatsoever. The room was very basic, but clean and comfortable. I slept very well. The staff were friendly. At the price I paid, I'd have liked breakfast, but my two night stay was okay.

Clean bed but room stank of smoke pillows were rock hard tea, coffee and kettle but no cups or milk never got offered breakfast but they advertised it in the pictures
