We absolutely loved our stay! Location is TOP notch. Off street parking, hose outside to wash off beach feet. Laundry, lovely functional kitchen, and two spacious bedrooms. Bathroom has plenty of hot water, and tvs were in the living room and each bedroom. Perfectly situated to grab groceries, a coffee, or a walk to dinner and shopping. We can’t wait to come back!

The property was clean and well stocked with nice linens and towels. The location was great. Our dogs were very happy there. The porch was a good asset but could use some work. I got a splinter in my foot there. Also, the porch umbrella needs to be replaced with one that is of regulation height. Other than that, great stay!

It was a great unit for my family of four with a small dog. Great location and super clean. My only suggestion would be to have a dish drying rake. To place pans or smaller items to dry. When we arrived at the property I was amazed and excited about how close it was to the beach...just a short walk away. I was a little worried about the noise from downtown and traffic, though. BUT, it was actually really quiet, the 1st ight was a tiny bit noisy but quieted down promptly at 10:03pm and was super quiet every night after that. Wonderful stay, enjoyed the beach and the unit, beds were wonderful, living area was comfy and everything in the kitchen worked perfectly!!

clean, convnient and comfortable. the kitchen a bit hapharadly stocked with cooking gear, but you can make do. The location was key! It was right across from the beach and right around the corner from the market. You could also walk to all of the restaurants. The apartment was clean and the bedrooms were spacious. We had everything we needed! The only recommendation I have is to have maybe one more chair for the deck or upgrade that furniture a bit.

Our family had a wonderful experience with the Salty Shack. They had excellent communication in terms of check in/out, expectations, etc. It was clean and cute (an added bonus). It had a very short walk to the beach/public access which was ideal with two small children. Overall it was a great experience and we'll definitely be back!

My wife, daughter and I loved our stay. Great stay right on the beach. Could walk out of the front door and be on the beach in 30 seconds. Around the corner from Bert’s which was a fun place. No need to drive the car and could walk every where. Clean house, comfortable beds. Couldn’t hear any street noise. Would stay again

Most places you have to pay to park so being close to everything we walked everywhere and avoided paying to park on the street. Communication with the owner was a breeze. They sent text messages with everything we needed to have a relaxing stay.

WE had a great time at the Salty Shack on Folly Beach. The location was awesome. Walking distance to all the hot spots. The My Ocean Rental staff was great. You can easily walk to the beach, to restaurants and almost as important as the beach, to Bert’s! Get the medium roast nightingale ice cream sandwich and a $1 hotdog!!! Some places on Folly have NO beach at high tide. At the beach access near 118, you will always have some beach but set up close to the dunes. You really can’t get a better location! Communication from management within seconds- really helpful- not that we had issues just one or two questions. Great stay!!!

Enjoyed our stay at Salty Shack. My only complaint would be the water pressure in the shower. We loved everything else. the location made it so convenient to everything you’d need.

Excellent location! Close proximity to the beach, restaurants and shops. Property was as advertised. Easy check in and check out. We will defiantly be back.

The property was clean and well stocked with nice linens and towels. The location was great. Our dogs were very happy there. The porch was a good asset but could use some work. I got a splinter in my foot there. Also, the porch umbrella needs to be replaced with one that is of regulation height. Other than that, great stay!

Great place, great location, exactly like photos ,very clean. We never got back in the car until it was time to leave. Close to the beach, pier, and downtown! We discovered Berts Market around the corner, sells everything!!! Well definitely be back!

This was a perfect getaway. Across from beach & pier. Walking distance to restaurants. 20 minutes to downtown Charleston. 45 minutes to airport. Clean & spacious. We will return!

My husband and I stayed for 5 nights and the location really just can't be beat, it’s a short walk to the beach and downtown. The place was very clean and ideal for the 2 of us.

We loved the location near the beach and downtown. It was great to walk the dogs on the beach before 10am and after 6pm. The Bark Park was a quick golf cart ride away. All we needed was easily available from cookware to pillows.

The location was key! It was right across from the beach and right around the corner from the market. You could also walk to all of the restaurants. The apartment was clean and the bedrooms were spacious. We had everything we needed! The only recommendation I have is to have maybe one more chair for the deck or upgrade that furniture a bit.

Rooms, kitchen, and bath clean. Good communication with host. Porch area was right on the street which was okay but not ideal. Very close to the beach. Within easy walking distance to shops/restaurants. Only parking for one vehicle. Space was very small especially for unit A.

The house basically across the street from the ocean which is so convenient. You cannot see the ocean because there is building blocking the view. The house was clean and love that they had some TP and paper towels which gave you time to buy more later if needed. My only complaints are the condition of the kitchen flooring. There are gaps in the flooring and I caught my toe in it a few times. Also the grout in the bathroom flooring is in desperate need of cleaning or replacing. We did enjoy our stay and really appreciated the quick response to our request of replacing the outside light.

The location of this unit is wonderful in proximity to the beach. Keep in mind that you are attached to another unit, so it is common to hear the people staying next door and everyone's noise level is different. The unit needs a deep cleaning and some updating. The unit lacked blankets which would have been nice since it was chilly for most of our stay. We had a few issues with other people parking in our designated space, but the management company tried to remedy the situation. In general, it was adequate for our stay.
