Front desk person was helpful and kind. Not a lot of parking, but probably because we arrived late. Room was cleaned but had a very strong bleach smell. Beds were comfortable, but unfortunately we had to leave in the middle of the night due to an emergency. We were able to get our 2nd night refunded. Would definitely stay here again if ever in Eureka.

It was horrible! The staff was friendly, however, everything else was gravely disappointing. The surrounding city was full of transients, we did not feel safe. We booked the suite with the full kitchen, two queen beds, and sofa bed. The refrigerator did not work, our food spoiled and gnats were found thought the kitchen and eating area. All the floors throughout were filthy. The inside of the sofa bed was full of cereal and ants. The staff was kind and quick in cleaning it up, however, on our last night my son-in-law woke up to a couple of ants on him. We were traveling on a budget, good price but you get what you pay for.

The TV cable did not work. Repair man fixed it. Worst 32 inch TV. Had a 3 inch black border around picture. Front desk checkin was great. Nice counter person. Room noisy could hear next room walking due to lack of carpet.

On the one hand it was very clean and had two bedrooms with a kitchen, so it was perfect for a family. However, it turned out to have one side of the building on Hwy 101 and was quite noisy. Individuals were going through the entire dumpster and pulling everything onto the ground.

This was our second stay here and we won’t be back. It was super shady and lots of people going in and out of the upstairs room. With a mega phone and yelling. The rooms are nice but the queen beds are full size so a little smaller… not what we expected.

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The shower was hot and didn't leak onto the floor. You can't beat the price of this hotel for passing through Eureka. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff was rude. When I arrived I did not know that there was a $20 per night pet fee. Both the front desk and the manager immediately escalated and became rude. I asked to cancel my reservation because I was not aware of this fee, making my stay now 150-175 per night… and this is a dive. They refused because they have a 24 hours cancellation policy. I asked if they could discount it. The manager proceeded to lecture me on how he has to wash the comforter since I have dogs. He stared the comforters only get washed after dogs stay in a room. I removed my comforter and used blankets we purchased. Lots of bums in the parking lot all night. Fan/ac very loud. Door was filthy in the bathroom. Also the manager told me if I left a bad review that it’s blackmail… lol

Was ok for one night. But did get charged the $100 deposit, for no reason. Am now currently dealing with trying to get that back. N mentioned this to staff at check out. They said it would not charge my card. It did!! So watch your bank statement!!

the front desk clerk, when checking in did not say there was no room service, just a $20 a day per fee, to my surprise when returning from breakfast that the room had not been attended, so requested clean towels from housekeeping. When confronted the front desk clerk she said no room service do to Covid, advised Covid ended in May, she then proceeded to tell me it was company policy. I do not think this is good customer service. I have stay at that location several times & never been treated like this I will not be going back to Super 8 any time soon or ever

Impressed at the size of the room as a 2 queen bedroom (was granted an upgrade by the front staff person checking in after 10pm, for they didnt have the 1 bedroom queen I ordered earlier in the day). Was also impressed on all the upgrades and niceities to the motel owned by Wyndham Properties. I currently have the 2 year Discovery package that is a trial package towards a decision to purchase a full timeshare ownership in this next year. I like that Wyndham is doing similar upgrades to their collection of mid range motels (available as full timeshare owner only). This motel was appointed to expectation. Both front staff oersonnel were friendly, especially Adam whom I interacted most with on the morning of my checkout.

Additionally, they charged us for minor marks on a towel that could have been easily cleaned. We've stayed at many hotels before and never encountered such unreasonable charges. It feels like they're more focused on squeezing money from guests than providing quality service. Unfortunately, we do not recommend this place.

I would stay here again, but the area around the hotel is kinda unsafe. When we arrived, it was a little nerve wracking but then we walked into the actual room, it was like walking into a completely different hotel - very clean, spacious, beds were comfortable, amenities were great. Because of that, if we ever come back to the area, we’d stay again. The only bad thing was we’d hear homeless people screaming/yelling at night, some people roaming around our car during the day. People got arrested across the street at one point. That’s not really in their control though, so not holding that against them. Overall, I recommend.

Unfriendly staff when asked about why there was no breakfast. Only bars, some oatmeal you make with water and apples for the so called breakfast. Blamed it on Covid..! Remove “Breakfast Included”!

Stay was good. Noisy but with the fan running constantly not a problem. "Breakfast " was a granola bar & apple. This was addressed at check in stating Breakfast was more of a snack.

Not your typical Super 8 hotel. It was more like checking into a townhome. It was super nice and super updated. The only thing we wish we would have known was that the breakfast was a "grab and go" style, so we ended up "grabbing" a granola bar and then "going" elsewhere to get full.

Breakfast was just a snack - Costco granola bars, cuties, instant oatmeal packs & drinks to take to your room. Otherwise overall it was good.

Basic room. Only complaint is the breakfast is joke. Nothing worthwhile, no milk. No decent coffee creamers just powder. They shut off the juice machine early because it was empty?

Our room in the hallway blocked most of the hwy 101 traffic noise. Nice employees at check-in & check-out. "Breakfast" is not eggs, hash browns, sausage or bacon! It is granola bar and apple.

Friendly and helpful front desk staff--the best I've had in a while! The property was aged and in what seemed to be a rougher part of town, but it was well cared for and clean.

The front desk attendant was very helpful and offered to help carry luggage up to the second floor if needed, since 2 bed rooms were all full on the main floor and I can’t do stairs well without carrying anything. The room was okay. We were a little concerned about the bug droppings in the bedside table drawers. Shower was clean and had good water pressure. Super disappointed with the “light breakfast” which I would have called a snack to go! It consisted of a granola/trail mix type bar to go, or packages of oatmeal to go… no sitting area. I would definitely not advertise it as having breakfast!
