Eureka Inn, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

Byggnaden och inte minst lobbyn är fantastiska. Rena och fräscha rum. Väldigt få gäster, vilket gav en lite ödslig känsla. Tyvärr var restaurangen stängd.

Room was not very clean. Cheerios and a lost contact on the floor. Bathroom vent was visibly dirty and had not been cleaned in some time. Cobwebs on light fixtures.

I’ve been staying here for decades (except for when it was closed for a few years) the owners that last bought it have done a great job redecorating. Rooms and beds are nice. Everything was really clean. Front staff was friendly unhelpful. I will continue staying here when I’m up in the area.

​We had a wonderful 2-night stay and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Before booking, I saw a few negative reviews complaining that the hotel was "old," needed updates. Frankly, I think those reviewers missed the entire point, it is a historical hotel! Preserving those original details is what gives the property its character. Walking into the building felt like stepping back in time, and that unique charm is exactly what made our stay so special. The historical touches throughout the property are fantastic. Keep in mind that as a historic property, there is no central AC, but cracking open the windows let in plenty of fresh air and kept us perfectly comfortable. ​To give an honest summary, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. ​The on-site café was closed during our visit and the bathroom lacked ventilation and the water temperature barely made it to warm, let alone hot. However, those minor inconveniences were completely overshadowed by the incredible hospitality. The supervisor was absolute magic. Every single time we walked through the lobby across our three days, she was either behind the front desk or in the office. Despite working tirelessly, she greeted us with a genuine smile every time and was remarkably friendly and welcoming. Walking distance to downtown restaurants and shopping and only a few min drive to the beach and zoo. If you appreciate true history, character, and outstanding customer service, you will love staying here!

Very nice old hotel. My pillow had a urine smell which was unpleasant, and the bed was hard as a rock, which was great for me but not so much for my wife. Lots of charm, and notable people have stayed there which was cool. Parking is behind a gate which made me feel safe.
