Check in clerk Bob friendly and provided excellent advice to make stay even better. Parking lot and outside area needs refurbishing. Otherwise great and convenient location with restaurant across street and downtown a short stroll away. I will come again 😀

Very well run and clean location! Room was very clean and organized, Wi-Fi was free, parking free, in room coffee, microwave fridge, Seemed to be family business. They did not hesitate to accommodate any request that I had. Mattress was a little hard for my taste but I would stay there again for sure.

In the advertisement there was a picture of a beautiful pool overlooking the lake. I booked the room to swim in that pool. When I got there the pool was closed and in a complete state of disrepair. There was crime scene tape around it, the gate was locked and the concrete skjrounding looks like it had fallen into the lake. Needless to say it was ima cease lie. I got conned. And I want my money back. Please let me k ow if you need anything further.

I had a wonderful time. I needed a quiet and peaceful get-away and this place was subtle and quiet. I liked the simplicity. Although the pool was under construction, the desk clerk allowed me to sit on the patio which has a nice view of Clear Lake. Sunset was beautiful.

This is an older hotel with older furnishings. All the basics are there, but the bed was very uncomfortable and it sat on a 2x4 frame, part of which stuck out into the room. Cleanliness was not an issue. The internet was dysfunctional. It blocked most of the web sites I would open up. There is a nice view of the lake at the end of the property. There you also find a cordoned off pool that is broken into piece. The operators are fine. I just expected more for the price I paid.

I love it here! Nothing spectacular about it, but Regency Inn offer all the amenities you expect.They have refrigerators, microwaves, air and heat. It's also quiet, clean, has ample parking and good food just across the street. Anytime I'm in Lakeport, I always choose Regency Inn!

The hotel was very quiet. The location by the lake was beautiful. But when had first arrived he couldn't find our reservation. When we had got to our room I took a look around the room and saw hair in the bathtub there was mold in the ice trays in the freezer along with a very wet freezer . They don't have sheets on the bed it was just flat sheets covering the mattress. We didn't get room service the entire time we were there. We definitely won't be staying at this location again.

The biggest problem was the “check in” at the hotel was horrible. They claimed not to have my Expedia reservation information. I showed the clerk my reservation email and he demanded I pay him. I explained I already paid through Expedia and showed him the email that reflected the details. He refused to check me in and did nothing to try to verify the information. I had to call Expedia and after 20 minutes of talking to a representative I was told I would need to be transferred to another department. And of course the call was disconnected. Did I receive a call back even after I had verified my call back number - no I did not receive a call back. So I had to call Expedia again and verify all my information, then I was transferred to the other department, and after 1 hour total I was able to check in and get my room key. It was terrible on both the hotel clerk’s behalf and also Expedia (who according to the clerk hadn’t sent over the reservation information. Honestly it was by far my worst experience checking into a hotel and I have stayed at several hundreds of hotels/motels.

For the price this place was great, very clean, right on the lake and plenty of parking. You could fish right off the dock if the water levels were higher. We need lots of rain. The owners were both very helpful and kind. We will stay here again.

I am a traveling lawyer and was sent to Lake Pond last minute. It was an absolute nightmare getting there from LA. Booked room through Expedia. Town is awful... well if you like that mountain, fishing, one lane roads, crappy internet then you will love it. Got to hotel around midnight after almost hitting a deer. Could not understand lady at front desk who had to tell me about bugs at the property and to turn all lights off so it doesnt get worse. Room curtains had chip clips on them, toilet had tape on it and the bed was like sleeping on a 2x4. Deplorable. No uber service out there. Booked for 4 days and trial was continued. Stayed there one night. The manager said he could not refund money on days not used even though I had reservation protection and told me to contact Expedia. I did... Expedia said I paid hotel directly and they could not do anything. Took me two hours to get Bob at the hotel to give me partial reimbursement. I only stayed one night and checked out next morning 0930 hours. I was there a little over 9 hours and he charged me 2 full days. Refused to give me the three nights I paid for back. I am a traveling lawyer and was sent to Lake Pond last minute. It was an absolute nightmare getting there from LA. Booked room through Expedia. Town is awful... well if you like that mountain, fishing, one lane roads, crappy internet then you will love it. Got to hotel around midnight after almost hitting a deer. Could not understand lady at front desk who had to tell me about bugs at the property and to turn all lights off so it doesnt get worse. Room curtains had chip clips on them, toilet had tape on it and the bed was like sleeping on a 2x4. Deplorable. No uber service out there. Booked for 4 days and trial was continued. Stayed there one night. The manager said he could not refund money on days not used even though I had reservation protection and told me to contact Expedia. I did... Expedia said I paid hotel directly and they could not do anything. Took me two hours to get Bob at the hotel to give me partial reimbursement. I only stayed one night and checked out next morning 0930 hours. I was there a little over 9 hours and he charged me 2 full days. Refused to give me the three nights I paid for back. The room was clean, however, the bed was old. It was a bit hard maybe because it was on boxsprings. Fishing was excellent! The dock does need to be worked on. But we made it work for us. The owner was very nice and cordial. Check out was at 11 and he allowed us to stay and fish throughout the day past 11. That means more than sleeping on a rough bed. We will book in the future.
