Great Hotel to stay while you vacation on the Tahoe area. 15 min drive from Tahoe City makes it convininent to stay at a quiet place and close to market/dinning/eating. It was it two Hoy Tubs, and a pool where we spend the days in the afternoon.

Great property, great room! Only wish the pool had been open but we were notified in advance it would be closed. Only complaint is the AC in room didn’t work and a fan wasn’t enough in the summer.

Love the property.. well maintained and felt very safe. They have covered parking which is very convenient. Our room was perfect for what we needed…. Plenty of space. It was a quick trip but nice amenities in the room. Would def recommend… great place!!

Great location. Would be amazing to stay here in the winter for the ski in ski out experience. I was disponted by the swimming pool being closed.The website stated that there were repairs in June with an opening in July. I emailed and got the same story that they should be open and project is on schedule. When checking in, I asked about the pool and they said there were many permitting issue that slowed down the progress. A funny aside, the lady at check out said there was a world class lake around here somewhere that was good for swimming in as an available option. Kinda funny to be told to go jump in the lake, even a world class lake...

The condo was clean and well equipped. The area was quiet and walkable to the ski village. My only complaint was being charged a "resort fee" when the pool and most of the hot tubs were unusable.

The property is clean and located mere steps from the Palisades Tahoe village and the Tram building (and also close to the bottom of the WaSheShu lift I think). Convenient parking for one vehicle per room in the adjacent garage. Staff was friendly and helpful, though maybe a little slow on checking people in that night. Some parts of the property were undergoing renovation during my stay, so I gave the Property Condition only 4 out of five stars.

With just steps away from Le Chamois, this condo/hotel is perfect for all vibes. Beware that most units do not have AC but the heater works just fine. Convenient for skiing and summer settings. The pool was under construction but highly recommend the hot tub, sauna and fitness center amenities.

Everything was within walking distance. Located below the aeriel tram, to go to the top of the mountain. Breathtaking beatiful mountain veiws. We were dissapointed the pool and jacuzzi area were under construction. Our room was located next to the pool area. Construction started at 8 o'clock in the morning , very noisy. I wish we could have been located away from the pool area. We enjoyed our stay ,except for the pool construction.

Palisades Tahoe Lodge is a skier's condominium lodge. The lobbies and rec areas are very nice. That being said, our room, understandably, was a little run down...with skiers and equipment coming in/out of the room, there is going to be nicked corners, a kitchen drawer that doesn't pull, etc. Our room definitely needs to be refurbished; still, it was clean and very comfortable! The Lodge is right next to the ski slopes and trams, restaurants and shops - an easy walk to everything and we loved it. We will definitely return, both for skiing and summer fun!

Overall, it was a good experience. Check in and parking were a breeze. Disappointed that the lodge didn't have a bar or lounge type of area. Our room was fine but could use a deep cleaning as I found hair in the bathroom and it seemed very worn.

We enjoyed our stay at the Palisades Tahoe Lodge. I really liked the decor in the main building and lobby area. The young man that checked us in was very personable, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Our room was large, clean and nicely done. It would be a great place to stay during ski season (we were there in September). There are restaurants, bars, shopping and plenty of areas to just sit down and relax by a fire pit, all within walking distance. There was an event going on in the village while we were there, and we really enjoyed that we were able to walk to the village and not have to worry about driving. Overall, it was a great place to stay.

Great location right next to KT-22 and Wa She Shu chair lifts. The rooms are a little dated with very old appliances (my fridge failed to work intermittently) but clean and comfortable.

nice unit, but the bed was saggy. chargee resort fee which was ridiculous because the pool and hot tub were being refinished. they said we could use the hot tub in another building but our keys wouldn't get us inside the building. ask for a refund (2 times) and they did not even respond.

Nice place to stay if you are skiing Palisades, practically ski in/out. But noisy, especially if your room faces the slopes. Grooming starts around 9 and goes late into the night/morning, and then the snowmobiles start up around 6. Suffered through a couple of evenings when the children in the unit above were very active; it sounded like they were deliberately stomping feet, knocking on the walls and rolling suitcases. Resort staff said they couldn't do anything about it because the unit was privately owned and rented. If you stay here, don't let them assign you unit #255!

The Palisades Tahoe Lodge is located in a stunning area. I would recommend booking a unit but be aware of the issues noted below. These units are all independently owned. Palisades Tahoe Lodge operates as a property mgmt company. We checked into a Studio condo on the second floor of Bldg 3 during an incredible heatwave. This specific condo has not been renovated in years. A hot air leak coming from the antiquated water heater caused an uncontrollable rise in the room temperature. This issue was resolved as soon as we realized what was happening and reported it to the front desk. The maintenance tech (Caleb) was a delightful young man who went the extra mile…truly impressive. Our other issue was that we had ongoing problems with the level of noise and vibration coming through the ceiling from the upstairs loft unit being occupied by teenagers. Dancing, jumping off the furniture, dropping heavy objects and causing excessive noise. This was not resolved by the adult chaperones of this teen group and this occurred after midnight on each of the 4th, 5th and 6th night of our stay. The front desk manager (Luke) did all that he possibly could to resolve the issue, going as far as offering to let us change rooms; we did not want to move but appreciated the offer very much. The kindness behind the gesture was not lost on us. To the condo owners RENOVATE/INSULATE your property! Room comfort is KEY. Noise control is KEY!

Of course, ski in/ski out is key, but the room was noisy, due to poor construction, and the rooms being uncarpeted. The TV was the size of my computer monitor and likely 20-30 years old with a blurry picture. For the price paid of $319 total, we wouldn't come back.

AC was not working well. Maybe it was user error but man it was hot and stuffy! I would set The temp to 68 and still hot. It was 1:30 am and I was too tired to call maintenance or front desk. Put a nice cool rag on my forehead and fell back asleep. The hot water was also iffy: sometimes lasted 5-6 mins sometimes longer. And the pool and hot tub was being remodeled so that sucked! Also definitely a dated place, mainly bathrooms Ok now to the hood! Staff was great! Friendly and helpful. It was a clean place and the lobby is very modern looking. The kitchen was very convenient and helpful. Family of 6 all felt our bed and pillows were comfy. Even with my negative sounding review we’d stay here again

Great location. Unit is VERY dated and in need of some repairs and updates. It would be VERY cramped with 4 people. The main bed is a Murphy bed and 2nd bed is pull-out sofa. I would say this was a poor value for the money.

The location was great! Just a few steps from the lifts. We love being able to have a kitchen and prepare one or two meals during our stay. Unfortunately one if the two burners wasn’t working. The management noticed this from our review of the check in, called and said they would send someone to repair it. That didn’t happen. A couples of days later someone from maintenance called to see if our phone was working but didn’t have a request to repair the burner. Still no repair. It was a minor inconvenience. We’ll stay here again.

The Palisades Tahoe Lodge is located in a stunning area. I would recommend booking a unit but be aware of the issues noted below. These units are all independently owned. Palisades Tahoe Lodge operates as a property mgmt company. We checked into a Studio condo on the second floor of Bldg 3 during an incredible heatwave. This specific condo has not been renovated in years. A hot air leak coming from the antiquated water heater caused an uncontrollable rise in the room temperature. This issue was resolved as soon as we realized what was happening and reported it to the front desk. The maintenance tech (Caleb) was a delightful young man who went the extra mile…truly impressive. Our other issue was that we had ongoing problems with the level of noise and vibration coming through the ceiling from the upstairs loft unit being occupied by teenagers. Dancing, jumping off the furniture, dropping heavy objects and causing excessive noise. This was not resolved by the adult chaperones of this teen group and this occurred after midnight on each of the 4th, 5th and 6th night of our stay. The front desk manager (Luke) did all that he possibly could to resolve the issue, going as far as offering to let us change rooms; we did not want to move but appreciated the offer very much. The kindness behind the gesture was not lost on us. To the condo owners RENOVATE/INSULATE your property! Room comfort is KEY. Noise control is KEY!

The property has great amenities and very comfortable if you want to room share with friends or family. Its a little older but very nice accommodations. We were at a slightly off-season and it was a little bit light on staff. There’s really no one at the front desk and they don’t seem too happy when you ring the bell. I understand it’s not easy dealing with the public. At the same time if I’m being polite, I expect the same in return.
The property has great amenities and very comfortable if you want to room share with friends or family. Its a little older but very nice accommodations. We enjoyed our stay at the Palisades Tahoe Lodge. I really liked the decor in the main building and lobby area. The young man that checked us in was very personable, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Our room was large, clean and nicely done. It would be a great place to stay during ski season (we were there in September). There are restaurants, bars, shopping and plenty of areas to just sit down and relax by a fire pit, all within walking distance. There was an event going on in the village while we were there, and we really enjoyed that we were able to walk to the village and not have to worry about driving. Overall, it was a great place to stay.

Fantastic location literally footsteps away from the lifts. Truly ski in and out. Yet also quiet and not directly over the stores and restaurants at the base. Staff was friendly and helpful. Easy check in

Well located - ski ski out close to the school. Unit we rented had been updated though with an old Tv system. No daily housekeeping service. No late checkout allowed.

Emplacement
Excellent emplacement ski-in/ski-out à quelques pas des remontées mécaniques, du téléphérique et du village, avec un accès facile à pied aux restaurants et aux boutiques. Certaines chambres exposées vers la pente subissent des nuisances sonores le matin en raison du damage ou des déneigeuses.

Awesome location. We could walk to chairlift and into the village. We didn't like the noise of snow ploughs at 2:30 every morning and their bright lights waking us up. Request a room looking towards pool perhaps for a quieter nights sleep.

Everything was within walking distance. Located below the aeriel tram, to go to the top of the mountain. Breathtaking beatiful mountain veiws. We were dissapointed the pool and jacuzzi area were under construction. Our room was located next to the pool area. Construction started at 8 o'clock in the morning , very noisy. I wish we could have been located away from the pool area. We enjoyed our stay ,except for the pool construction.
