Comfort Inn Rohnert Park Sonoma County

This property is currently under construction. No breakfast, no pool, no air dryer, no microwave, no laundry facility available. The only thing going for it was the convenience to stores and restaurants. It was practically sitting on the 101 with such loud traffic it was nearly impossible to rest and that was when the construction wasn't going on. This was a complete rip off and I don't plan to use your service in the future to find a room

first they gave us a room key to someone else is room. We actually open the door and walked in and realized it was occupied. ridiculous after we walked up three flights of stairs. Because the elevators were not working. Also tried to call all day to confirm our trip and when we got there they told us their phones weren't working. The room itself is clean, but the staff obviously doesn't know what they're doing.

Place is under MAJOR FACELIFTING - ENTIRE building covered in scaffolding. Given 3rd floor room with elevator OUT OF ORDER. Ice machine OUT OF ORDER. Front desk employee (nights) rude and unfriendly. Key(s) didn't work after one day. Bright light was the morning employee on check out - very friendly.

The moment we drove in, we knew we were in for trouble. There was construction scaffolding all around. The elevators weren't working. The ice machine wasn't working and the air conditioning was noisy, like it was on it's last legs. We were given the phone number of the manager and asked for a bag of ice (it was 90 degrees!). They said they couldn't do that. Finally, they came to the room, dropped the bag of ice and ran! We were very disappointed and, after a bad night's sleep, decided to leave at 4 in the morning.

Property was fine with a clean pool. A provided breakfast would be nice.

The room was very comfortable. I had an end room which was a bonus! Room did not smell. Water pressure was good. Shower head was good. There was no internet. It was out of service because of the remodeling happening. That was not cool. The pool was not open and disgustingly dirty. That was one reason I stayed there. The only 2 disappointing things. The stay was great other than that.

Elevator is broken. First room had a giant fan in it drying wet carpet and the heat was on full blast. Second room had not been cleaned. Third room had someone in it who screamed at me when I opened the door. Waiting for my fourth room but I’d rather go somewhere else. I’m going to ask for my money back

Friendly staff who greet you with a smile and readily available. Hot coffee. Well lit parking and wide parking spaces.

Room and bedding did not smell clean. Location was decent but I would not stay here again. The overall room cleanliness was below par.

We had 2 rooms at this hotel, we left immediately after checkin. One room had blood stains on the sheets and trash under the bed. The other room smelt HORRIBLE and had cockroaches. 10 out of 10 would not recommend this hotel.

Cleanliness was about a 7 out of 10. Minus the used hypodermic needle hidden in the toilet paper roll. Please be careful and check your room thoroughly before settling in. I didn’t find this until my last night. There were brown smears on the bathroom light switch and the overall condition of the room looks to be about 10 plus years since any painting or maintenance. The staff was great and very nice and helpful. The area is fairly safe despite the people living in the parking lot. Overall my stay was what it needed to be and was the second most affordable option. I stay here 1-3 times per year and look forward to the day they upgrade the rooms. Not the worst place in town that’s for sure.

The hotel was not clean with people that looked like they were on drugs hanging out around the building. There was only one person at the counter, and it took forever to get checked in. The room was not nice and had stains on the doors, a phone that was missing all the buttons, and in the middle of the night there were police with their lights on in the parking lot multiple times.

The carpet smelled awful. We went to a store and bought Clorox wipes and and Febreeze air freshener but our room smelled terrible. We left the window open for a bit but as there was no screen on it we had to close it. Housekeeping did not clean our room the next day and we had to request towels (twice). Our room phone didn't work and the remote to the TV was missing. However, the beds were comfortable and the staff very nice.

The property was in poor condition. We had no smoke detector. My husband saw blood on the ceiling. The bed was very uncomfortable. There were people fighting in the parking lot next to Taco Bell. They didn’t make our bed and did not tell us we needed to ask when we checked in, we had no clean towels brought to our room the Manager was not able to provide any immediate help. She just said we were supposed to call or ask for a new bed made but they never told us that we asked for a receipt and they told us that they wouldn’t give us one because we booked it through Expedia. It is my recollection from previous reviews that you need to check the charges that are made a few had mentioned they were overcharged overall especially the elevator, which seemed very old. It was not a good experience. I would not recommend this hotel. I have always felt good about Expedia hotel availability however, this time I’m not happy whatsoever.

The bathroom ceiling had mold.

The noise from the freeway even with windows closed was still loud. There was shady looking people hanging out in the parking lot. The screen fell off the window and I wasn't sure if someone had broken into the room. The room smelled horrible! The bed kept moving away from the wall / headboard as I was sitting. The bedding was pretty much just old stained sheets no comforter. It was a last minute choice and I definitely won't be returning.

The room was noisy because it's right near the freeway and the windows are cheap. A strong outside light came in around the curtains all night, the wifi was down, and the room was very sparse. On the other hand, the staff was kind, the bed was very comfortable for me (no pillow top, not too soft or squishy and not too hard either), and the shower was clean and strong.

Be sure your room is not on the side of the freeway!

Staff claimed hotel had internet but they did not have internet. Phone in room was dead & staff said they’d send someone up to replace it & no one came up. The front desk had no one present on several occasions. Dirty room. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Don’t book this hotel!

Internet was non existent. 3days I called. Spoke to 3 different ppl. All pushed the fix on someone else. Never got fixed. Room was clean, fresh and comfortable. Lots of food available and shopping.

My room was right next to a freeway off ramp. Very noisy.

This hotel advertised that it had wireless. Given the reviews about the spottiness of the wireless, I called them to see if it was in fact working and was assured it was, so I went ahead and made the booking through hotels.com. I had an important zoom meeting at 5 am the following morning and needed to be able to have the meeting in the privacy of my room. When I arrived, I asked AGAIN if the wireless was working and was assured that it was. I signed in while in the lobby just to make sure. However, when I got to my room, literally feet away from the lobby, none of their wireless addresses worked from the room. The front desk person came to see if I was doing something wrong, which I was not. I told them that I could not stay there as I needed wireless and they advertise that they have it and also told me multiple times that they had it - when clearly they just have wireless in the lobby. The front desk person said they had been having on going problems and she would have her manager issue a refund to me as soon as she came on at 11 pm. I booked another hotel down the road, and was not concerned that I would not get the refund. I let hotels.com know - as they have to facilitate the refund. After two days, hotels.com came back to me and said that they could not get ahold of the hotel manager therefore they could not give me a refund. WTH? I don't know if I just got a bad customer service agent - but I need a refund - either from the hotel or hotels.com. BAD BUSINESS FROM BOTH

I had read reviews, and this looked promising; some stated internet issues but the overall reviews and ratings were good so I overlooked it, knowing everyone has some bad days/tech difficulties. This was a huge mistake for me, there never was internet. I was traveling on my remote days, but needed to put in full work days. The staff didn't see this as a problem. The first time I called the front desk was at 6am beause I had two meetings via Zoom. I was told he would try to reset it, but the manaer was aware of the problem. When there was still no internet, he said I would have to speak to the manager - who wouldnt be there until 11am, five hours later. And he was short with me, he told me I could go to Starbucksl which is a public place,not appropriate for conducting meetings. So I had to get dressed and leave the hotel to work. The problem with Starbucks is they no longer allow you to charge devices due to crime/homelessness issues. So I called back to see if the manager was there, and they were not, they never came in. The next employee said the wifi was working, so I came back, went to my room...and it still wasn't working. She said I'd have to come closer, but on a couch, in public in the middle of the lobby. I was here for my cousin's art opening, needed to work, flew, rented a car, wasted/ruined the little time I had, spent all my time OUT of my room except to sleep. This is decent traveler hotel but never if you have to work, rely on wifi for any reason,

The room was on the side facing the highway, we ran the air on Auto to drown out the road noise. The bed was uncomfortable & the room barebones. It was clean & the tv worked fine.

The lights in the hallway at night make the inside of the room look like it is morning time all night. If you do not leave the air conditioner on, you have to hear every person talk outside, every car go by, etc. Typical crap construction, built for money, not quiet.

The room itself was basic but not bad. It seemed clean and did the job of providing a place to stay the night as I passed through. The door did not completely fit the doorframe so there was a big strip of light from the outside lights (and cool air) coming in. Plus the room is not soundproofed at all for highway noise or guests walking by your room. The checkin staff seemed bored or uninterested when I asked some questions. The wifi signal was too weak for me to be able to connect.

The front door staff is cool as hell and really makes you feel like you’re old friends

There was only one, recently hired, clerk at check-in, who was in the about the twelfth hour of a double shift. They tried to be helpful, but there seemed to be system issues and multiple reservation errors with which they were trying to deal. The reservation was for one queen sized bed and we got one with two double beds. Given the confusion (not the clerk's fault) at the front desk it did not seem to be the effort to try and get the error corrected. Beyond that, the TV remote didn't work, with no replacement available, and the heater had to be shut off to keep it from putting out heat beyond the level set all night.

This is the second time we’ve stayed here in the last few weeks and it’s been convenient and a good spot both times. Easy location to find right off the freeway and close to food/shopping. Rooms are a good size and clean. Last night we’d driven far, arrived late and Richard went out of his way to haul a microwave up to our room on the third floor so we could heat our food. All other employees have been nice and helpful too.

The hotel room and property were fine, despite being next to the freeway and having pretty thin walls. But there were three things that were terrible and unacceptable. 1. When I arrived at the hotel, approximately 6:30 p.m., there was a sign on the locked office door saying "be right back, 6:10 p.m.." The clerk came back after 35 minutes, and there were 4 or 5 parties besides me trying to check in. I've never been to a hotel where the desk clerk just disappeared for 35 minutes and made people wait. 2. The television didn't work. There frequently isn't much to do when traveling, and a working TV is one of the essentials at a hotel. To not have a working television is unacceptable. I've stayed at hundreds of motels over the last quite-a-few years, that has never happened. 3. When I walked to the front desk to report the on-working TV, the clerk told me how to fix it. I said, "I'll call you if it still doesn't work." She said "okay." I got back to the room, tried to fix the TV, no luck. So I picked up the phone in the room; no dial tone. So I called the published number for the hotel, no answer. So the clerk had agreed that I should call--but she knew all along that I could NOT call. She didn't answer the phone (tried for over an hour) and the room phones don't work. (Why have a phone in the room that doesn't work?) In summary, I recommend that you DO NOT STAY in this hotel. Some things, even most things, were fine or okay. But terrible overall.

Very tired traveler and was told no stopper for the bath tub. Front desk clerk was stressed and alone to manage the entire hotel alone without support for 16 hours!!!!. Whole experience was very chaotic

Great and fast service

We had the worst experience ever, in the room next to us they were drinking, singing loudly with their door open more than 10 people all night and not once the hotel staff did anything about it. We were not able to sleep because also they were banging the door. We left our room this morning and these people were still with the music out loud and laughing and talking super loud. The front desk new this, and fit nothing about it

added an extra $100 deposit to the price that was already confirmed. did not let us know beforehand, trainee just charged us. was not aware that there was an extra fee. this hotel is not worth the over $200 that we paid.

The front desk person was not helpful or even at the bare minimum, respectful. She seemed to not like my request to have the correct info on my check in (it was wrong and when I mentioned it she told me not to worry about it and I asked again if we can amend it to be correct). She then gave us the room next to the elevator which made noise all night long. The wifi didn’t work at all and the sheets were wrinkled and the floor felt unclean.

Great: near freeway, lots of fast food options Not-so-great: long walk to reception. We were on 3rd floor and no elevators. We asked about a vending machine and were told there was none, then found one right outside the office. Shower head in our bathroom could have been a little nicer. It was very high and I couldn’t reach it to adjust it. We were just over-nighting here, so this was easy, convenient, and just fine for us.

The only thing that is somewhat of an issue, but they really don't have control over it, is the access to the parking lot. The back entrance is a construction zone for the next door business (Taco Bell). They are installing electric charging stations and solar panels. There used to be homeless folks back there living in cars, but they have moved on so that is a plus...

Location was great right off the freeway. Room was mostly clean. If they tried just a little harder on the cleaning it would be about perfect. Not a bad place to stay though. Super close to the casino of that's important to you.

A nice place to stay when you're on the road. Not as busy as downtown Santa Rosa, but being right off the freeway, it's perfect for long distance travelers.

Convent access to freeway entrance and exits, shopping and restaurants. No complaints.

Our Stay was good just stayed over night to enjoy Graton Casino.

This hotel is now a Confort Inn. Service was very poor, no room available before 6pm because cleaning. During my visit (3 nights), nobody cleans my room. No coffee machine in the room, no breakfast because of renovation. Very bad experience

Looks like work is being done to clean up the establishment. Hall ways and stairwells could be more clean but the rooms were pretty nice. Coffee/Breakfast in the morning would be a huge draw to a place like this. Will stay again.

Many dining options in walking distance. Quiet, clean rooms. Good bargain for the buck.

Hotel is very clean and quiet. The staff are friendly. Close to a dine in restaurants. The only thing is, I wish there’s microwave or coffee maker inside the room.

This property was still under remodel construction. The work was done during proper hours so I was not inconvenienced in any way. For a cheap motel this was much better than expected and I do like how it is perfectly situated with the highway, shopping and restaurants.

Bed clean. No shower curtain. No coffee maker. AC excellent. Quiet. Near gas and Taco Bell and Cirvle K - walkable, great convenience. Affordable.
