The hotel it self is lovely,staff are friendly and our room over looked the sea. What let us down was the fact they had 2 parties going on.So till about 3am you heard people shouting,slamming doors and music going on(must of been playing it in their room). We should of been notified and given the option to change our booking!

Great location, very good staff, smiling workforce, no issues to deal with. The room was a bit tad, dated and bit smelly. Looked to be unoccupied for month. Spiders and cobwebs at many places in room Ample parking around, nice big XL size restaurant, good dinner menu, just that it closes at 8:15 for last order. Bang at the not so great beach.
Great location, very good staff, smiling workforce, no issues to deal with. The room was a bit tad, dated and bit smelly. Looked to be unoccupied for month. Spiders and cobwebs at many places in room Ample parking around, nice big XL size restaurant, good dinner menu, just that it closes at 8:15 for last order. Bang at the not so great beach.

The hotel was clean and fairly comfortable. We didn’t give a higher grade because we had no chairs in our room and there was no lounge. There was a safe in the room but the previous occupant had left it closed and in spite of mentioning this it was never unlocked. The staff were extremely helpful. The food was good. When we arrived Sarah the receptionist helped us carry our luggage upstairs.

Check in was seamless. One small chip in one of the mugs in the room - which was changed immediately. Food at the on site Bar/Cafe was very good and good prices. BUT there was a function on in the function room which our room - No7 - overlooked. The volume of music was so loud it at times exceeded the tv volume. If we we made aware of this on booking I would have had second thoughts about staying. Why could we have not had a room further away - there were party attendees that stayed in the hotel - why not give them that room. If I stay here again I will be checking with the hotel to see if they have a function on. The music stopped about 0030/0045 so not a good nights sleep.

What a find, beautiful location, peaceful, on Sand Bay Beach front a few miles from Weston Super Mare but a world away. Nice hotel, clean, lovely presented double room with en suite, rainfall double shower, tv, small fridge, kettle, free standing fan, supply of tea, coffee, hot choclate. Hotel staff were friendly and approachable. Breakfast included in price, yoghurts, fruit, toast, full english and a good variety of other cooked options. On site restaurant, Rock Salt, varied menu for all tastes. We had 8oz Steak, rare, cooked perfectly and beef lasagne, amazing. Good onsite paking. Definately will book again.

The hotel is fine for a one night stay but wouldn't like to be there any longer. The staff were great but feel the accommodation is a little dated. Also continental breakfast is included but the full English is at an additional cost of some £12... which is not in the paperwork. We had or daughters 40th party there and the room was lovely again staff great and cost not too bad. However the food supplied was OK but nothing special.

Excellent stay didn’t arrive until late in the evening staff were very accommodating. Very friendly and obliging staff both too much. The room was excellent very comfortable and all amenities were there including a mini fridge. We had breakfast and have to say it was excellent and lots of everything available.

Beautiful hotel- clean and very welcoming. We had fish and chips which I can highly recommend. Only down side is the beds are not very comfy worn mattress feel springs through. But for a night away with amazing views it’s worth it. Also great breakfast.

We stayed here for a date night away from our kids and life, we are locals so know the area well. This hotel has a wonderful location with sand bay just across the road. The hotel its self has a great theme throughout although cleanliness of our room wasn’t amazing. Dust on the shelve above the toilet, skid marks, sausage rolls in the fridge from previous guest and a few water marks on the bedroom walls. Staff were not very welcoming seemed a tad miserable. Also we were not made aware there was a party that night and our room would be located above the dj. Noise level was abit excessive but a least the DJ had good taste. Breakfast was pretty standard nothing to write home about but still nice. Beds were very comfortable though.

Picture on the website didn't match the room we had ,room smelt,fridge on floor,tea,coffee on dirty tray ontop of fridge Drinking cups and glasses dirty, due to this didn't eat breakfast

The bed was uncomfortable, shower cublical had mould around the base, there was mould above the bathroom window. Would not recommend it was stated as a bungalow on hotels.com but it wasnt it was a room in a annex

Worst nights sleep ever in a hotel. We were put in a converted (into 4 compact) house to the side of the hotel . The room also housed the boiler which was noisy until 2am. But that wasn't the main reason for a terrible night's sleep. The mattress had numerous large springs popping up making it very uncomfortable. The shower also had mould throughout making that an unpleasant experience. A toilet had been boxed in the corner and was freezing. A mini fridge on the floor in front of the radiator. Very odd and noiesy so had to turn off.Final issue was tea/coffee facility had to be perched on a chair to reach a plug. The room as whole was just so disappointing and not worth the money we paid .

I don't want to be negative about this hotel as I will stay here again, but just some minor things, firstly the breakfast room opened late so I didn't have time to eat, but no big deal, some say I could afford to miss the odd breakfast. The other is the sound proofing, again, no big issue, but the older couple arguing in the room above and stomping around the room was a bit of a distraction, but the did quiet down quite early (this is not a slight on the hotel, just a comment). The tv remote didn't work and the spiders were a bit creepy. But on the whole, its a nice place and I will stay again.

The room has cobwebs and it is nothing like the pictures on the website. We were in room 22. This room has a boiler next to our bed. It woke my little one up constantly at night and scared her. To be honest, I don’t think it’s suitable to be a hotel room because of the noisy level. One thing I really like about the hotel is that the staff are all extremely friendly. So it is still highly recommended but avoiding room 22.

The bed desperately needs a new mattress, we were woken repeatedly by springs digging in. NO SHOWER! It’s 2025, there’s no shower or hairdryer. These should be mandatory. The walls are paper thin so sadly we could hear all the other guests well into the night.

We stayed here for a date night away from our kids and life, we are locals so know the area well. This hotel has a wonderful location with sand bay just across the road. The hotel its self has a great theme throughout although cleanliness of our room wasn’t amazing. Dust on the shelve above the toilet, skid marks, sausage rolls in the fridge from previous guest and a few water marks on the bedroom walls. Staff were not very welcoming seemed a tad miserable. Also we were not made aware there was a party that night and our room would be located above the dj. Noise level was abit excessive but a least the DJ had good taste. Breakfast was pretty standard nothing to write home about but still nice. Beds were very comfortable though.

The hotel is fine for a one night stay but wouldn't like to be there any longer. The staff were great but feel the accommodation is a little dated. Also continental breakfast is included but the full English is at an additional cost of some £12... which is not in the paperwork. We had or daughters 40th party there and the room was lovely again staff great and cost not too bad. However the food supplied was OK but nothing special.

Excellent stay didn’t arrive until late in the evening staff were very accommodating. Very friendly and obliging staff both too much. The room was excellent very comfortable and all amenities were there including a mini fridge. We had breakfast and have to say it was excellent and lots of everything available.

The location is amazing but service could have been better. Some very kind and attentive staff in the restaurant but not for the stay so much. It would have been great to have sheets instead of duvets in this heatwave as the room fan isn’t very powerful. Doors were slamming til late in the night and then early morning so it wasn’t very restful. I appreciated the staff letting me keep my luggage til later on check out day and the friendly lady with light pink hair at the breakfast service. I might stay again, it just seemed a bit expensive for what it is as the room is rather basic.

room had dual aspect windows overlooking beach road and car park. it was clean though in need of minor repairs. Personally i found the bacon overcooked and was annoyed that although having paid for bed and breakfast this only included "continental " which was not clear on the website and it was not a true continental breakfast, so we ended up paying extra for a cooked breakfast. The staff however were lovely but the hotel is in need of repair and redecoration

What a find, beautiful location, peaceful, on Sand Bay Beach front a few miles from Weston Super Mare but a world away. Nice hotel, clean, lovely presented double room with en suite, rainfall double shower, tv, small fridge, kettle, free standing fan, supply of tea, coffee, hot choclate. Hotel staff were friendly and approachable. Breakfast included in price, yoghurts, fruit, toast, full english and a good variety of other cooked options. On site restaurant, Rock Salt, varied menu for all tastes. We had 8oz Steak, rare, cooked perfectly and beef lasagne, amazing. Good onsite paking. Definately will book again.

Beautiful hotel- clean and very welcoming. We had fish and chips which I can highly recommend. Only down side is the beds are not very comfy worn mattress feel springs through. But for a night away with amazing views it’s worth it. Also great breakfast.

Stayed here for a second time and not disappointed. Staff very friendly and attentive. Very clean and tidy in all parts of the hotel, great choice of breakfast food and drinks, along with bar drinks, snacks and evening meal. Free on site parking. hotel.

The room was acceptable, clean apart from the cobwebs and the odd spider. The shower needed to be thought out better( no-where to put shower gel or shampoo when you used it) A tray attachment would be the norm. The mini fridge was sitting on the floor(What no small tables around?) and had to fumble around trying to find a socket to plug the kettle in(on the floor) The Breakfast was cold and we had to wait 50 minutes for it. Sandbay has a wonderful beach to walk on.

We had an issue with our room on arrival where a power socket was not working and omitting a burning smell which made the room unsafe. We reported it and had to move to another room for the night. However we were there for a 2 night stay but no other rooms were available for the second night. The hotel did get the room fault sorted with the visit of an electrician and myself actually explaining what the issue was. We were allowed to stay the 2nd night in the original room but there were other issues with slow drainage of sink and only one hanger in wardrobe and one light above shower not working. The receptionist Vickie was very helpful and promised a refund of one night's stay. The hotel is a decent place but just requires some TLC in places.

My room was in the annex and it was definitely due a refurbishment. However, it wasn’t just how dated it was, it was how unclean it was. Woodlice crawling on the carpet, carpet was filthy, mould in the bathroom around the shower and the shower head was thick with black mould. I went to let them know on checking out, but no one was there. Breakfast served from 7.45am onwards which is no good for many people who have to be on the road before then!

Nice clean room Just a couple of things that needed attention to detail but were rectified once asked and no trouble to do so from the staff. Breakfast was continental and had enough for my needs and got food was available at a extra cost if needed.
