The hot tube outside was closed and water inside was green. The main pool was fine Breakfast is very limited nothing like hot smashed eggs, sausage, potatoes, waffles etc… Just fruits, roast coffee, hot water, cold eggs, céréales (kellogs boxes),… The rooms were fine

Very large room; very comfortable & very quiet. Hallways are wide. Elevator was a bit sketchy; sounded as if it needed to be serviced (was making clunking noises).

Air conditoner is the room is very noisy. Swimming pool is small and not very clean. Hot tub seems to be broken for a long time.

The elevator doesn’t work well. We have to use the stairs. The breakfast was super basic.

Front desk staff were not very nice. Hot tub was broken. We asked for extra towels and when they delivered them, they opened the door with their own key to bring them into the room. I was shocked to see a strange man in my room with towels!! I'm not sure why they could not have knocked or left them outside of the door. It was really unnerving.

Manager = Iiar and a scammer. Bathtubs and sinks has brown colored water coming out. Broken toilets. Broken pool and hottub. Broken air conditioner. Broken elevators. Breakfast was only for orientaI tourist group and not the other guests. Manager repeatedly told me a refund would be given and to call Expedia and he would approve. They called him and he denied all wrongdoing and refused refund. FiIthy hotel operated by a deceptive scamartist

The room was clean and the beds are quite soft, its also quiet and peaceful. Sadly, the hot tub was out of service and has been for awhile with the algae layer on the water, maybe drain it. 😬 The continental breakfast was just OK but could use some english muffins - a waffle maker would make it WAY better. Though, they did have hawaiian buns and chocolate filled croissants +++. The text / early check in made things fast.

The room was excellent, but we were disappointed that the pool was not heated as advertised. The fact that the spa was closed by the Department of Health was also concerning.

The elevator didn’t work throughout our stay and the one time we did use it we were stuck in there for about 10 mins. There are no vending machines on property either. Rooms are extremely spacious and I loved the soaker tub. I would stay there again.

Needed to get a room change from first option due to cleanliness. Second room was much better. Pool was not heated which was a bummer since the weather turned out to not be as warm as expected. But all in all it was a nice stay conveniently located for our travels.

We stayed in a villa and expected it to be as nice or nicer than the suite since it was more expensive. It was like an apartment with full kitchen and separate bedroom, which was nice, but it wasn't kept clean. Dirty and stained furniture and filthy rug under the couch, broken kitchen chair leg that wobbled, and the mattresses were extremely old, creaky and uncomfortable. It sounded like popcorn when you sat on it or turned over while sleeping. After 3 days they changed the mattresses to less older ones that made less noise. Still uncomfortable. The bathroom had one sink that was approx. 2 inches deep and not much counter space unlike the double sinks in the suite. Plus the bathroom tile grout (which used to be white) was now brown like it was never cleaned. Housekeeping didn't do anything but make the bed, pick up towels and empty SOME of the trash. Never wiped up the hair on the floor and sink. Same dead bugs and dust from the day we checked in until the day we checked out. Don't waste your money. I will NEVER stay there again.

There were ants on the floor of the room on the fourth floor. At 9 am on the 20th, the hotel staff did not knock on the door and entered the room directly. Very dissatisfied with the service。

When I booked the hotel, it was advertised as offering free breakfast, and the photos on the website showed hot food like scrambled eggs and sausages. In reality, the “breakfast” was only slices of bread. When I checked in on the first day, the previous guest’s dirty bedsheets and used towels were still left in the room and hadn’t been removed. The room heater didn’t warm up at all, and there was a constant humming noise in the room that couldn’t be turned off.

Hotel was in a great location. It was an okay stay. The mattress needs to be replaced,it was uncomfortable to sleep in. I was able to feel the spring metals. The shower had mold in the corners. Cleanlinesses was not the greatest.

I was very dissatisfied with my stay. When I got to my room the first thing I see before entering the room is a door that was so disgusting! There was like a spill all over the door that could have been cleaned. After entering the room there was a bug on the bed and the restroom was gross. The shower had not been cleaned and the countertop had slimmy brown stuff on it.

Central continental breakfast room with tables and couches had COCKROACHES scooping up crumbs that were left in the carpet, in the couches and ON TOP of TABLES. Come on !! ?? this hotel needs to clean up.

Room are absolutely dirty and the bed sheets are disgusting. Their villas look nice and clean in the pictures but they’re dirty. I found a cockroach in the hotel.

When we arrived another customer was complaining at the front that his room was dirty and he had been there for four days and no one came to clean it. I thought he was being dramatic until I got into our villa room. The hotel appears nice but it is filthy. Our floor was so dirty that our feet turned black in minutes of walking on it. The sheets had not been changed, there was hair and blood on them. There was toothpaste all over the counter and running down the vanity onto the floor. It was pretty disgusting.

I always stay at the Grand Hotel when i am traveling to Sunnyvale to visit family, but this time around, upon entering our hotel room, we felt how awfully dirty the floor was. The hard flooring was black, nasty, and uncomfortable. It gave us a sticky feeling to our feet. I know people wear shoes in their own house/hotel rooms but because we do not wear shoes inside our house/hotel rooms, we took initiative to use soap, water, and a towel to clean the floors ourselves. It was gross. The hotel should be keeping up with their rooms for what they charge. Also, the complimentary breakfast was terrible. They had very boring options: cereal with milk but did not have milk substitute for dairy allergies, bread/butter/jam with only 1 toaster to use, coffee, boiled eggs, and fruit. Not really much to choose from. I actually was looking for some warm breakfast like other hotels I've experienced: oatmeal, waffles, sausage, and eggs. Looks like it may be time to find a different hotel to stay at when visiting family. No, i did not make a complaint because i did not have time to waste as i was following a schedule for events. It was just extremely disappointing to encounter.

Clean place but the HVAC in the room was less than desirable. The heat would turn to AC on its own - going from 74 degrees to 62 in the middle of the night.

I always like staying here. I forget sometimes that there's no microwaves in the rooms, but at least there's mini refrigerators with freezers that work.

Nice staff, easy parking, scary elevator that needs an updated inspection as there is no current valid displayed, large room and bathroom. Room 416 had a 3" depression in the old mattress, resulting in waking up after a few hours with a sore back. After complaining there has still been any communication from management.

Clean and spacious. Nice entrance way. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was pretty scarce. Heat/AC was very noisy when turned on.

We have stayed here several times over the years, we noticed that the price had dropped, turns out it is apparently because they have scaled back the amenities. We loved the hot tub on past trips, but it was “under construction”, often a euphemism for “We don’t want to have a hot tub any more but we don’t want to say that”. This information was not in the Expedia description, so we were disappointed to discover it on check-in. The clerk said it was on the hotel website and it was, so lesson learned that if something is important to you, don’t trust what you see on Expedia. But also, they used to offer a very nice breakfast in the morning with an omelet station, now it’s just dry cereal, a bowl of cut melons and muffins. They had a toaster, but no bread to make toast! I’ve had better breakfasts at a Super 8… Lastly, the bed was super soft, as in zero back support, I had a miserable sleepless night. The good things are that the rooms are large, very clean, the staff was very attentive and it was very convenient to the things we like to do in that area. But we will not be going back.

First off the check-in guy was not friendly when I first tried to check-in earlier in the day. He gave me a room that was right by the Check in area and I asked if there was another one as I’m a light sleeper and didn’t want to hear all of the noise. I asked if I could just come back later since there wasn’t another clean one available. He didn’t sound very happy about it so I told him I would just check back in later. I arrived back several hours later after my son’s two baseball games in which we didn’t get back to the hotel until 10:30 after being out in the freezing cold. Well our room when we checked in and opened the door smelled like smoke and the window was left open so I’m sure the housekeeper kept it open to get the smell out. Also when I took a bath in the jetted tub, it wouldn’t turn off when I was done. We had to call twice down to the help desk to have someone come check it out. When someone came, he couldn’t fix it so we had to hear the sound all night which was really loud. Regarding the breakfast, there wasn’t much choices.

I loved staying at this hotel even though it was not conveniently located for someone who relies on public transportation. My only disappointment was the man who checked me in. When I arrived, no one was at the front desk. I had to wait 10 minutes after a long day's travel. When he finally came out the bathroom, he kept saying in a stern voice, "Next time, just wait." He did not bother to apologize, just kept repeating in a rude tone "next time, just wait" as though I had any other choice. Other than this incident, this is a fine hotel with lovely spacious and comfortable rooms. The breakfast does not have any hot items, but is fine.

For the most part, we enjoy staying here and we do keep coming back the two things I would say they need to work on is their towels when you have them. They are new but to get them it’s a lot of work. I requested new towels at 7:30 AM and did not get them until I requested them again two additional timesand they finally came at 7 o’clock in the evening. The other is their breakfast. It is hit And they finally came at 7 o’clock in the evening. The other is their breakfast. It is hit or miss what you get sometimes there’s hot food sometimes there’s not . The first day it was hot eggs and sausage, yogurt, cereal, fruit, and bread products. The second day bread products, cereal, fruit. It would be nice if it was more consistent. The first day was fine but the second day I needed to actually go get a breakfast maybe spending less money on the cocktail hour and more money on their breakfast would be a better idea so don’t count on breakfast.

The rooms were spacious and clean. However, our bathroom exhaust fan didn't work. We were given an option of choosing another room but we didn't opt for it as we were leaving the next day. We didn't like the breakfast options at this hotel. We have been to many hotels in Sunnyvale and Mountain view area where they offer amazing options and the rate of hotel/night is the same. Breakfast options can have more varieties. Rest all was good!

The interior of the hotel was fairly clean. The facade is stained black on the ledges so it’s unsightly when driving up. Not a dealbreaker by any means, but I’m sure the aesthetics is important to some, so I’m disclosing that. I was placed in the “newer building” as advised by the front desk, which was nice. The halls consist of carpet which appeared it needed a little cleaning. Nothing horrible such as dark stains, but could use a cleaning to remove light dirt. The room itself is pretty large and clean, and once you open the curtains it allows plenty of natural light in, which was nice. The shower leaked badly at the bottom of the glass, so there was a river of water outside the shower after each use. I almost slipped twice. My girlfriend almost slipped once. The hotel doesn’t provide the thicker “towels” used as a bathmat. The room only had 2 towels for a 4 person room. I called both the front desk and housekeeping several times for more towels over the course of an hour and a half on day 2, and they never brought any, after being told they would. As the matter of fact, the front desk agent asked if housekeeping can put the clean towels on the floor outside of my room. On the floor? The dirty floor? What? I said, “Someone can knock, but if it has to be placed on the floor please bring one extra as the bottom towel will not be used,” to which she said ok…again, nobody ever came. What started out as a decent stay turned out disappointing. One poor event will do it.

The front desk receptionist was extremely rude and not welcoming. He was very sick and wasn’t wearing a mask. I was a VIP guest and they didn’t want to uphold that with our free drinks. We went to the room to find they downgraded us from a jetted tube room. We have small children so I wasn’t about to pack up again and then be disrespected by the receptionist again. At check out I let them know they gave us the wrong room. They told me to leave my info and contact the third party I went through. I did that and the hotel lied and said that the room we wanted was under construction (lie) so they like to scam people with children out of their money. The manager was suppose to reach out and of course they didn’t. I would not recommend anyone staying here unless you want to pay for more and get less.

I was very disappointed in my stay here, especially because I stay here very often. Around 1:40 am people entered my room while I was sleeping because they were given the same room and keys as me. As you can imagine, it was terrifying waking up to strangers in your room in the middle of the night as a sole traveler, of course this was also the one time I forgot to lock my door. After that I could not fall asleep because I was on edge all night. I didn’t get any sleep and had to wake up early that morning. The staff did nothing to make up for that inconvenience. I was just told that they would leave a note for the manager, but I never heard back from anyone. I don’t even recall if I received an apology, just the excuse that there was a mix up. They should have done something to compensate for this especially since I’m a regular visitor here and a VIP member (which I was offered none of the perks that they state you should be given as one). Usually I have no problems here and love staying here but this one experience really ruined it for me.

For the type of hotel this was one of the strangest hotel stays. I selected it over the usual hotels because the rims looked good and location. Both of which were fine. The hotel was horribly understaffed. Basically there was the front desk clerk and a barman - who doubled as the chef and room service delivery! Half the items on the menu were not available. Staff did a good job considering the hotel management hung them out to dry!

I like the proximity to many stores, market and restaurants. The property was fairly clean on the outside and parking is plentiful. I would stay here again in a bigger room the villa with 2 beds was nice if they have a bigger option ill definitely go for that.

We stayed in the annex portion of the hotel. Our room was very spacious, comfortable and quiet! There are coffee shops, restaurants and grocery stores, including Trader Joe’s, within walking distance. Driving to other areas was quick and easy. The continental breakfast was underwhelming.

The only problem we had was the breakfast. By 8am they were completely out of everything, so if you want the scrambled eggs, sausage, oatmeal, muffins you need to be one of the first to breakfast because the run out and didn’t restock. It was a bummer.

Spacious, clean, and comfortable. Service was good. Receptionist were responsive, helpful and friendly. Great sound proof. My room had no microwave but had everything else. I stayed one night so I didn’t need one. Breakfast, your typical hotel free breakfast with a spacious dining area. Good parking. Safe area.

Gorgeous large sized room and bathroom in building 2. Very close to Levi Stadium.

We stayed there twice during our vacation and the reception was kind enough to keep a part of our luggage during one week, while we were backpacking nearby. Spacious rooms. The included breakfast is decent but not very diverse.

An absolute dump! We had to change rooms because their air conditioner didn’t work. And the second room the noisy air conditioner leaked all over the carpet. The breakfast was a joke! If you didn’t get there before 8 o’clock all you would get for breakfast was toast and boiled eggs with flies on them. Before 8 o’clock was unimpressive too. Croissant and muffins.The pool was dirty and rundown, and the hot tub was closed and looked like it hadn’t been running in 20 years. We had to ask for clean towels, but were told they didn’t have any (not even pool towels). The staff was very rude. We were very disappointed and don’t recommend this place to anyone!!

Everything was great in the hotel. Rooms were clean (beds and AC were great), front desk was prompt without any issues. Free parking was great too since other hotels were charging. I believe the biggest area of improvement was the breakfast. Although complimentary, there were other hotels that I stayed at that offered eggs or even sausages. 4.5/5

The room was very clean. The bathroom lacked a full set of towels for two people. There was no mat to step on when getting out of the shower or tub. The beds were comfortable but very low. Not the easiest to get out of for a senior citizen. The free breakfast left much to be desired. There was a choice of 3 cold cereals, white or wheat bread to toast and bananas. Poor choices compared to comparable hotels in the area. We will not be staying here again.

Very disappointing i have stayed there for years. First walked to front desk guy arguing with a customer, then he was mad at us for checking in .breakfast is horrible they use to have a omelet station but they cut their employees hours and food.And jacuzzi has been out for a year .Will not be back.horrible

The room and bathroom including the jet bathtub were big and comfortable. However, the complimentary breakfast did not include any hot breakfast such as omelets and sausages, and the dining room was constantly dirty with dirty dishes and leftover foods on the tables. There also weren't enough tables and the dining room was always full at meal times.

I have always loved coming timo the Grand because of the convenience, free parking, free WiFi, and yummy breakfast. The new building is amazing and comfortable. BUT, the continental breakfast was the weakest ever. Toast and cereal only.

I'd give them 5 stars across the board except that according to their Yelp page it looked like they served eggs and such for breakfast like most hotel continental breakfasts do...except they only has cereal and toast and when i sae people with hot breakfasts it was because they were part of a "paid event"...did I not pay to stay here too?
