Excellent staff. I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels & motels at all price points. This is a great value for a room with a full-size refrigerator, kitchen area w microwave and range top. I stayed a couple of weeks for business. Room was very clean,(always my first concern), including fridge, range top & microwave. Laundry on site. I was perfectly comfortable here and would come back. I like the laminate floors instead of carpet; i saw reviewers commenting that the floors were dirty—if concerned just get a wet swifter when you go out to pick up food for the fridge.

Overall, I feel this property represents one of the lowest nightly-prices available for short or extended stay in the Denver area. Given the amenities and location, I reckon HomeTowne is delivering value, only ten-miles from downtown Denver. I believe the hotel is as described online. After a more than two-week stay, I have experienced only a small-issue, a stubborn door-lock the hotel swiftly replaced. Staff have acted with professionalism and neighborly-love, responding to needs promptly and with courtesy. The cleanliness and grounds are acceptable and ample parking is available. I have always felt safe and unbothered returning, and I am pleased to have this Denver/Thornton location. Enjoy your stay!

2 Guys selling drugs in the parking lot, no real parking options if you are pulling a trailer, definitely no sense of this being a safe place to stay.

Dirty room. Pee puddle in the elevator

The person behind the counter was super great! The place feels run down but at least Laundry was available and working good so this was the best part of the visit. I will admit the room was clean just a simple table and chairs. Nothing fancy but it gets the job done.

Room was super dirty n smelly curtains wore torn. They don't give. U permit to park so it can get towed. N they get a piece of the money bed sheets dirty n stained

The sidewalk and elevators were filthy. I paid $200 to spend the night and I was disappointed. Front desk was very nice, friendly and helpful.

Would not stay here again. The room smelt like mold, the other guests were always noisy and the elevator smelt like drugs. All in all I felt completely unsafe there.

Well the laundry room very dirty and outdated and also I have to go to front desk every time I have to open the door

Trash was everywhere, security doors were broken, sheets were stained, floors and counters not wiped down, bath faucet leaked with mold behind the cabinet and the kitchen light didnt work.

The floor room were not cleaned.

The floors weren't Swept. The shower was not clean. The Comforter had Stains. And there was no toilet paper.

It was a horrible experience, no housekeeping to clean the rooms, very dirty, no box of tissues, my first time staying in an environment I would not even recommended for my enemy. Will never ever reserve such hotel again. Dirty dirty dirty

We couldn't even stay here. It was disgusting. There was visible dirt everywhere... The floors obviously hadn't been cleaned in months, the blankets were stained, the nightstand had actual dirt on it, like it hadn't even been wiped off. The TV was even covered in some kind of gross liquid stain. The shower was also unclean and stained. We went to the front desk and told them we couldn't stay because it was so filthy. I will be contacting Expedia about a possible refund because I can't believe they'd even want a property like this on their site. We had to find a different hotel last minute!

I checked in and there was bloodbon the bed

It was very noisy, people coming in and out at all hours of the night yelling and just being disrespectful. The floor was very dirty, sticky and so was the table. I would not stay there again.

First i had a room with hair in the bed, floors and tables were covered in sode and what looked like cigarette ash to get changed to a new room that at least the bed sheets were clean i had to clean side tabled and bathroom sinks and doors myself. There was what appeared to be dried juice or pop on the floor which i cleaned and mopped up myself. I also had to wipe black filth from by the door handles to and from bathroom. By the kitchenette area was food and grease which we had to clean. I realize i could have gone somewhere else but after a 16 hour drive and my family desprite to stretch out and relax cleaning was the easiest option. We were there 3 days the maid service doesnt bring you fresh towels or empty your trash. We had to take towels down only to be told i give you what you bring me by a lady whom obviously wasnt trained in customer servise. Our reservation was for 3 ppl not 2. As we were leaving i watched as no maid but Instead its a handy man that was caring for the rooms i watched him make the same beds up from our first room. No sweeping or mopping was done just the bulk laundry cart was pushed into the door. So i can see why my room was in such deplorable state. Its sad the place was quiet and most of the other staff was friendly and welcoming. Its a sad shame though when you cant wven get a clean room and the heater coolers in the room were disgusting that should also be address as after an hour or so my kid was having allergy issues. They need to do better

It was dirty, there was a shaver and tooth brush from previous quest. Not one trash can in the room. The walls were filthy. Did not expect that at all. They wanted my ID for a plunger.

Price is why I chose this motel, and I still would based on that even though it a below decent hotel. Things to know are; room had shampoo, bar soap and was spacious with a stove and fridge. Staff was friendly, especially the second lady the next day of my stay, she was nice and helpful when my key card wasn't working. Although I believe it has more to do with the old doors. Bedding and floors looked clean in room. Shower needs to be a more clean and needs new shower heads. Also no blow-dryer, breakfast or anything. Only bus is available for transportation (not including Uber since it can be expensive) and if you need to leave at certain times in the night or morning it's limited. Also there is no ticket booth nearby. Checking in was slow but that was due to computer problems.

couldn't sleep, either of the 2 nights. stomping above room 143, was devastating all through the night i left without sleeping and went home. a disaster.

Room 332 didnt have heat. Room 149 dosent have lights. The stove doeent work.the floor is nasty. And it smells like cigarettes.

The walls are very thin and in a busy area. Vehicle noise is very loud in the room. People are outside in the hallways till late talking loudly which can be again heard in the room

AC was leaking water all over the floor and it was reported but nobody ever came in to check and even asking for an extra towel as we had 3 people they would only provide 2 towels. not the greatest experience won't stay there again

thin walls questionable patrons, other individuals staying at the motel were smoking weed outside of our door. the noice level was outrageous

Everything was perfect. The ladies at the front desk are so friendly!

Still have received my deposit paid upon arrival. $100 in total. The stay for 2 nights was $112 $100 deposit . So I'm out $212 for a two night stay. I could have used that $100 to stay at a different hotel but had to sleep in my car after the first 2 nights. Been 7 days so far no refund on deposit

Nice staff.

Spend the extra money to get a better hotel. Management was absolutely terrible. The bed was completely stained. The mattress was flipped spring side up. The bed skirt looked like there was a puddle of dry blood. The staff doesn't care. Overall experience was terrible to say the least.

I got in late from the airport and needed a quick place for my boyfriend and I to stay for the evening. Upon arrival, the girl at the front desk told me that she had 3 reservations for me. I told her that was a mistake, we only needed one reservation. While I was trying to book the reservation directly through the website, the website kept crashing. I received no confirmation of booking at that time. I then booked on Expedia and the reservation went through and I received confirmation for that. The night girl said I needed to speak to the manager in the morning to get it refunded. When I went to speak with the manager, Yessica, in the morning- I explained the situation and she looked at me and said “there is nothing I can do for you.” She said, “I can’t refund you, you should have used the rooms.” I explained it was the websites error not mine. She offered no help and was extremely rude. I asked if there was someone in upper management I could speak to or if she had a phone number for customer service, and she said “nope, nothing.” She offered zero help and it was extremely frustrating to be treated that way when I was just asking for help to get their mistake fixed. I work in customer service and would never think of treating someone that way. I was charged $534 in total between the deposits and 3 room charges. The bathroom in our room was still dirty upon arrival and my boyfriend and I both woke up with bug bites on our ankles. Not a great experience all around. I really am

The staff who greeted us gave us the best and most memorable first impression I have ever gotten from a hotel. Very personable and kind.

For the area, great price! Staff was friendly and kind and helpful, even though we dragged in TIRED and late/early. Clean beds, clean sheets, hot water, cable TV. Outlets that worked! Really, what more could you ask for? Property is outdated but clean and SAFE!

Very rude personal saying they only accept credit cards for deposit no cash accepted at all at this place. Then when checking out they dont automatically give deposit back when leaving they just say it will be there in 3 to 5 business days, and thats when you find out your not getting your deposit back

A cheap and pretty convenient place to stay. There seemed to be a contingent of long-term residents of the motel that were sketchy as hell. Would not recommend facility to most single women.

It's close to the downtown

this place is a two step downgrade from motel6… Lots of dodgy looking people hanging around… they rent out semi-long term snare not really a motel… they made me sign about 20 declarations in various wordings, that I wasn’t going to wreck the place and then took $100 deposit which they will supposedly refund at some unspecified time. But the price was low.

The property was very convenient for my purposes.

Our experience was not so good. How does a motel not know there is illegal activity going on in room 118? It took us about 30 minutes after check in to figure that out. 18-20 different people every day in and out of the room at all hours day and night. That special knock to gain access. The last night we were there they backed up and parked a truck in the handicap ramp, so the ramp couldn't be used. It was not a good experience.
