Veldig rent, og gode senger og bad. Hotellet holder på å pusse opp. Så standard er på vei opp. Veldig grei beliggenhet i henhold til Palace de Versailles (5 min gange). Parkering ved Palace er enkel og grei. Bilen kan stå der overnatten. Mange spisesteder i nærheten.

No parking available. Have to rely on a resident on the street leaving. Good luck. If you have a car, you will not find it easy to park within 200 meters. But you might get lucky. We stayed in a very small double room. You need to be skinny to get to the toilet. No room to set your luggage down. Needs to stand up and out of the way. Breakfast was traditional cold foods only and they will make you a fresh espresso if you ask. Staff was very friendly. Construction happening so lots of trash just outside of the dining area, but it doesnt take away from the looks of the building.

Nice hotel conveniently located near Versailles. The room was large enough and the bathroom was very clean. The beds were extremely comfortable. The hotel is being renovated so there was some scent of paint in the hallway, but there was no noise and it did not impact our stay. I was lucky to find a parking space along the road, but parking could get difficult and very expensive (26 Euro/day during the year except August). The hotel offers breakfast in the morning at 14 Euros per person which is somewhat steep. There are several cafes and restaurants in walking distance so you can have your breakfast elsewhere.

El hotel es bonito, desafortunadamente nos tocó que estaban en remodelación, fue un error nuestro no leer bien las especificaciones y no es grato subir 2 pisos con una maleta grande y pesada. La habitación es bastante pequeña, pero limpia. El el personal súper amable.

Das Hotel ist super gelegen für einen Ausflug nach Versailles. Das Schloss ist gleich ums Eck. Das Hotel selbst wird gerade renoviert; und zwar von Grund auf. Das wussten wir nicht und waren sehr überrascht, auf einer Baustelle zu wohnen. Wir haben das sofort angemahnt und es wurde uns ein Deal angeboten und das war sehr versöhnlich. Wenn die Bauarbeiter weg waren, war es wunderbar, wenn die Bauarbeiten abgeschlossen sind, wird es ein tolles Hotel sein! Wirklich zu empfehlen!

Fint lille hotel lige centrum. Utrolig imødekommende personale. Rent nyrenoveret værelse. Morgenmaden fin. På minussiden: meget lille værelse, ingen dør ud til badeværelset, ingen elevator, ingen hotelparkering, men muligheder på gade eller i parkeringshus.

Great little hotel... rooms are small but well kept. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The property does not have an elevator and you will have to carry your own bags up.

Big comfy beds, gorgeous bathroom, all lin was fresh and clean, plenty of storage space. Perect for a shortbreak. Traditional style hotel,so old but well kept, no lift but we only had overnight bags to carry ip the stairs. Cute little outside garden space for general use. We parked on street right outside the hotel. As it is free overnight it didnt seem too expensive. Versailles Palace literally few minutes walk away and also very close to main street with lots of restaurants. This was an overnight stop for us, which actually turned into a charming visit. Great breakfast and friendpy staff

I stayed here partly for price and partly for the location as it's close to the Versailles Palace, but I won't be staying here again and I would recommend a slightly farther location for better rooms. Facility: It's an older hotel and is showing it's age.  They were in the middle of remodeling some rooms, so maybe these will be better in the future.  My room was very small and the worst part is that it didn't have AC because I visited during a heat wave.  They did offer breakfast, but I didn't not purchase this option so I can't speak to what it provides. Location: It's very convenient to the Palace of Versailles and restaurants.  Everything is walking distance and was one of the reasons I chose this hotel.

Amazing location within a short distance of the palace of Versailles. The room was clean, warm and cosy (perfect for a winter break) and the staff were extremely friendly/helpful.

I loved this hotel. It was within less then a 10 minute walk of Chateau Versailles. It was safe, clean, comfortable cute room for a very good price. The front desk staff was kind and considerate. Breakfast was available. WIFI was also included. Exceptionally pleased with this stay.

Very poor, The bedroom door would not open properly due to the bed,The toilet lid would not stay up, the carpet was stained, the shower head was broken, the toilet soil pipe was dirty/rusty? On the other hand the staff were very polite and helpful. I asked for a room upgrade or another room but there were no vacancies, and the surrounding hotels had no vacancies either so we had to stay! I have photos of the room but this site would not let me upload them?

L'hôtel est très bien situé, tout proche du château et des restaurants, au calme. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par le personnel et la chambre était propre et récemment rénovée. Le petit déjeuner bon et varié.

Hotel confortale et le personnel est acceuillant et serviable seul petit reprochoche les chambres sont mal insonorisé et le soir vers 21H00 on entend les client de la chambre à coté et un luminaire de la mairie vous éclair toute la nuit autremnt il est calme et le petit déjeuné est correct

Great little place. Ours was a family room and it was spacious and everything we needed for two nights or more… Helpful staff, good breakfast with lots of options. Not only did we get great value, it was also a great stay. Been a while since that’s happened!

The room was clean but too small for 3 adults - staying only one night was okay…hard to manoeuvre with the luggage and 3 adults. The pillows were square and too soft to sleep with. The concierge was helpful and attentive to our request. It rained while we were there and there was no umbrella access.

Idéalement situé / palais de Versailles. Bon acceuil, pro et souriant. La chambre a été refaite et plutôt de bon goût, mais petite. Et surtout, pas de climatisation..,juste un ventilateur. Au petit déjeuné, personne a 7h…pas de jus d’orange, pas de café et ça dure 20mn…pour une offre juste du niveau d’un B&B :( A 170€ la nuit, ça laisse rêveur.

I would definitely come back! An extremely short walk to Versailles (pretty much just a street over) and great for the value. The staff was so nice and the neighborhood was very vibrant. I’m so happy I chose this place!

this is hands down the best hotel we have ever stayed at in Europe. My son and I have been traveling for over 2 months. We have stayed at dozens of properties. This hotel was so welcoming and convenient. The front desk staff went above and beyond to help us get information regarding tickets for the Palace of Versailles. She offered to Google our walk back to The train station after our stay. Their breakfast is excellent. They bring your drinks to the table and you go up to a buffet for breakfast. It has all the usual offerings but of better quality. Instead of shoeing flies away from a 2 gallon container of yogurt, picking up a handle that dozens of other travelers have used before you, and flopping it into a bowl that's been sitting face up for who knows how long. You go to a tray with generous pots of yogurt covered by cling wrap. Instead of a gallon can of fruit cocktail, they serve fresh cut fruit in individual containers as well. Our room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. If you're looking for a Fancy place where the furniture is completely up-to-date and matching then this is not the place for you. If you want something that feels like your own bedroom with plenty of places to store your stuff then hotel D"Angleterre will be just right for you. The bathroom was also spacious with a lovely double window that could be open for ventilation. They also had a bathtub. That's not something often seen at this price point. We loved everything about this hotel.

First of all the property doesn’t have parking, you can park your car in the garage at the Cathedral , but it’s not cheap. The hotel is clean, great location.The man at the Reception doesn’t speak English, not too friendly.

We really appreciated the friendly staff and especially the gentleman at the desk who tried to help us get tickets the Palace of Versaille.

Location! Location for the palace, for the train, for the parking (which you can pre book for a better rate), for the grocery… and for an affordable price. Can’t beat all the positives.

We enjoyed staying in the Hotel d'Angleterre. Our room was clean, roomy and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. The location is perfect for a visit to Chateau Versailles, or for catching the RER to Paris - both Chateau and station an easy walk. Restaurants and bars are also nearby. The hotel is under renovation but the rooms and breakfast area are completed to a very good standard. Parking can be had nearby in the Cathedral carpark. Recommend this hotel.
