VILEEN Rishikesh - A Wellness Resort by Ganga Kinare

VILEEN Rishikesh is an exceptional wellness retreat. The kindness and attentiveness of the staff truly stood out, matched only by the stunning facilities and extensive spa and amenity offerings. I enjoyed a facial, foot rub, deep tissue massage, yoga, and even an astrology reading. What made the experience unforgettable was how thoughtfully the team tailored activities to my interests— from painting rocks to arranging a visit to a local school. A truly memorable and enriching stay.

The room was initially great, but the multi level floor around the bath came as a surprise to my foot which was cut open as a result. The air conditioning had to be fixed a number of times which was annoying. Then there’s the spa, it’s not cheap, and the treatments were average at best. I was convinced to have a different head massage to what I wanted and it was just weird. The whole ruffling fingers though my hair quickly was, to be honest, bloody awful. I could have done that myself - I do every morning. I wasn’t impressed, I didn’t leave the spa feeling relaxed at all. It was awkward. Now to the food - it’s not me. I loved the juice options, a few more would have gone down well, but I’m not vegan and it was a bit limiting on that front, but the constant pressure to get food or try other things - enough - leave me alone. I’ve said no thank you, so take my answer and stop asking over and over again. The pool was freezing, the gym is tiny. I won’t go back.

Comfortable and quiet stay for our family, staff was very helpful & courteous. Overall it was good experience.
