Free bikes, paddle boards and kayaks were a treat. On the bay side not good side. With a cute swimming pool. Right in middle of Pensacola beach. Great value for price point. By the marina where you can find lots of fishing boats ( private ), dolphin and sunset cruises and water sports ….

Pool area was great and having the bay right out back with kayaks and paddle boards was such a fantastic treat! Breakfast included, eggs, meat, toast, oatmeal, grits and a make your own waffle are. The only negative was that there was some black mold in the ceiling (maybe to be expected at the beach?). My throat hurt pretty badly since I am highly allergic to mold. On our last day, we got a surprise when the Blue Angels flew over! Amazing location in walking distance to beach and boardwalk.

Clean room, friendly staff, free breakfast is great, the pool and private beach is great. Free bikes, paddle boards and kayak, also the beach and police station is right across the street. Walking distance to all great places.

We booked here without even knowing that they offer free use of the kayaks, paddleboards, and bikes, just have to have back by 6pm. Our bed was super comfy. We were within walking distance of the gulf and the bay on the other side. A great breakfast. All rooms are located on outside access, but there is an elevator. The ladies at the front desk were nice and very helpful. We will come again.

Perfect location. It’s right across the street from Pensacola beach. The hotel has water access to The Sound (canal that leads into the Pensacola Bay). We really enjoy the free bikes, paddle boards and kayaks that the hotel offers.

Staff is excellent year after year. The room had some kind of air filter system that was really dirty and gross. Pillows are very flat and uncomfortable. Take your own pillows! Bathroom door needed paint badly. Overall still a good place to stay. They charge $10.00 per day to park in addition to the price of your room. I dont agree with that.

The hotel was close and convenient to everything. Actual beach takes a drive and a walk but both are easy. Beds were ok. Rooms were nice and felt safe. Could have been cleaner. Large stains on the blind, mold on the bathroom wall etc. Pool area was small but nice. Again, could have been cleaner. (Guest could have helped by cleaning up after themselves!) Cigarette butts, cups, cans, wet towels...this was all at 10 am. Hotel seemed to be completely booked as the parking lot was always full and there were always friendly people coming and going. Parking was not an issue. Hotel breakfast was very nice. Staff was always extrememly pleasant at all times. If we are back in the Pensecola Beach area, we would stay again.

The online photos are deceiving. The hotel isn’t as nice as it appears in the photos. The outdoor is very dated and is in desperate need of a renovation. The inside isn’t much better. It has cheap, poor quality renovation. The bathroom is very tight, the bathroom door has a hole at the bottom that looks like it was developed from a flood. My child spilled some water 2 minutes after we checked in and I used a white towel to clean up the spill. I was horrified to see the towel immediately turn black. The beds were also uncomfortable. Another disappointing factor was that the hotel doesn’t provide an iron and ironing board. Thank goodness we were only spending one night at that hotel, otherwise I probably would have immediately checked out.

I’ll start by saying that the staff were wonderful!! Everyone was so nice and accommodating. The room was clean, but there was some terrible moldy smell that triggered an allergic reaction causing my throat to instantly start hurting. The mattress was paper thin.

The hotel is dated and the room was dirty. I responded to the front desk and advised them that the toilet wasn't properly working, one lamp shade was filthy the other did not have a globe and was a rusted base, the microwave was disgusting, the refrigerator was full of rust spots, my toilet and bathroom area was absolutely disgusting, my sheets were stained. They had maintenance come in and change as many issues as they could however there is no way that the room should have been offered in that shape. Unfortunately I paid for a bayview and they did not have another bayview room available. They stated they would have my toilet "snaked" however the toilet still did not work accordingly so I literally fixed it myself. This vacation was planned for my grand daughters and they felt uncomfortable when they had to to use the bathroom/shower because it was "icky". They did compensate for one night but there were too many issues to try to fix. A huge disappointment indeed! I should have been compensated for more than what I received. They offered to cancel my reservation without penalty however I did not want to risk my grand daughters and I not being able to get another room in a different hotel, surrounding hotels had no availability. We had been on the plane for hours.

When we arrived our room was not locked. There were stains on the sheets and on the blanket was dirty. Like they just made the bed without changing bedding. The bathroom had mole in the ceiling. definitely a very unpleasant stay. And we paid close to $200. Total mistake. Do not stay here.

This is a hard one. The photos of this hotel do not accurately show it as it actually is. The pluses are the front desk staff. They were very nice and helpful. The property has a very cute little private beach area, pool and playground but they weren't kept clean very well. The bed was comfortable but the room was dirty, towels were not very clean and had hair in them. The weather was very humid and the choice was to keep the room very cold otherwise the floor, surgace space would become wet with pools of water collecting all over the floor. Our clothes, towels, sheets felt damp all the time. We left for a different property after 2 nights as we could not stand the room anymore. It is more of a motel with outside walks so lots of noise. We suffered from cigarette smoke as the people below us lined their chairs on the walkway and smoked a lot. This place could be made into something special with the little beach, pool, playground but it has to be cleaned often and consistently. Some sort of dehumidifiers of a commercial level needs to be installed in the guest rooms.

Area around the hotel is nice - convenient to the beach and high traffic tourist areas. The little interaction we had with the staff was fine. However, our room was absolutely disgusting. It was beyond dirty. Our bathroom had significant amount of mold growing on the wall behind the door, the shampoo/conditioner bottles had so much mold and mildew on the outside and on the bottle holders themselves. I doubt they had ever been wiped down properly. Clumps of dust and hair in the bathroom. Our floor was beyond dirty. The refrigerator defrosted in the middle of the night and leaked all over the floor which seems to be a common occurrence since the wood is warped. It was incredibly disappointing. We would not stay here again.

The location of this property is great with many places to shop and eat within easy walking distance. The breakfast, which is included is very good. They provide bikes, kayaks, and paddle boards for free! And the staff is very very nice. The rooms are worn and tired but clean. The A/C is pretty old and can be noisy. For what you pay, this is not too bad.

It was okay. The location was awesome and breakfast was good. The staff was very friendly. The room looked updated however it’s definitely an older hotel although remodeled it smelled musty and there was a noticeable gap between the outside and the inside. The bathtub was very slippery and when I went to give my kids a bath black stuff came up from the drain. I went and bought Lysol disinfectant spray for the tub, swifter mop, dehumidifier and glad plug in which made the room more comfortable for the short amount of time we stayed. This was my first solo trip with my 4 children so having to change rooms after we had already brought in and unpacked everything would have been a lot for me or I would have likely requested another room or moved hotels.
It was okay. The location was awesome and breakfast was good. The staff was very friendly. The room looked updated however it’s definitely an older hotel although remodeled it smelled musty and there was a noticeable gap between the outside and the inside. The bathtub was very slippery and when I went to give my kids a bath black stuff came up from the drain. We were woken up our second night with water dripping from the ceiling, after walking around the room discovered that water was dripping in multiple places, all 4 corners of the room, the bathroom ceiling and above the sink area. Water had dripped into our luggage, our diaper bag and on our towels in the bath room. Upon realizing what was going on I went to the front desk and let them know what was going on, their only reply was ok. They did not try to offer us another room, or say sorry, nothing. I was very disappointed with the service and will not use this hotel again.

Wonderful property and the staff was amazing. Love the bikes and kayaks/paddleboards available to checkout. Elizabeth at breakfast is so hardworking and the maintenance staff was always working, hotel was very clean. Right across from the beach but loved it being on the sound side (much calmer water to relax.) highly recommend this hotel and its staff, our go to now in Pensacola!

It was a great stay. The pool area was exceptional. We could see it from our balcony. It looked like a great place to hang out with friends or with children. Our view was great. We could see the gulf even though the hotel does not have beach access. We could walk to restaurants, ice cream and souvenir shops and the beach. Great place.

Great spot, priced right & very comfy. Located close to the beach & the boardwalk. All kinds of dining & shopping options within walking distance of the hotel. Room was very clean & well decorated. Pool area was great and having the bay right out back with kayaks and paddle boards was such a fantastic treat! Breakfast included, eggs, meat, toast, oatmeal, grits and a make your own waffle are. The only negative was that there was some black mold in the ceiling (maybe to be expected at the beach?). My throat hurt pretty badly since I am highly allergic to mold. On our last day, we got a surprise when the Blue Angels flew over! Amazing location in walking distance to beach and boardwalk.

Overall is a 4/5 stars for our family. Loved the free bikes, kayaks, paddle boards, ice for the beach and extra towels for the on-site beach access/pool. Elizabeth at breakfast and her hospitality is beyond amazing! Hotel breakfast can be hit and miss, but this hotel offers great choices of meat/eggs/waffles and milk/juice/fresh fruit!! Elizabeth keeps the waffle irons running, making your waffles for you hot and ready with minimal wait times!! It is a very short walk to Beach and very conveniently located near shopping/dining/night life, yet far enough from all the weekend/late night goers for a quiet relaxing night watching the sunset. This is a great place to stay for families, but only offers 1 king bed or 2 queen beds… for larger families, you have to get two or more rooms. I rated this a 4/5 stars because the ac was not cold and full of dust, my husband cleaned out the filter and when we moved one of the beds so that the kids didn’t fall into the 12” space between the wall and the mattress, the floor was filthy underneath. You have to ask for housekeeping services before 8am if you would like cleaning services; however they did come and clean up the filth and then some. Overall, my family was satisfied and would stay here again!

The lady serving breakfast this tuesday and thursday offered excellent services. Friendly, informative, diligent. She also spoke multiple languages and communicated with guests in guests' languages. The hotel room was clean. The parking area and the area by the elevators wasn’t very clean. Lots of litter and trash around the shrubs and palm trees. The property overall has gone down. It looks very different in person from the photos online. Your room door is outside like a motel. We didn’t expect this. The location is great close to restaurants and beaches. The breakfast was wonderful. The lady Elizabet that does the breakfast is very friendly and hardworking. She goes above and beyond to welcome guests and to make their stay more comfortable.
