Everyone at the hotel was wonderful! From the reception counter to the cafe and even security at the front door, the helpful and friendly team made the stay very comfortable. Maybe it was because it was during winter, or off season for a beach hotel, but the facility had seen better days. It makes sense to do repairs during the off season, but the repairs seem like a bandaid on an older property and overall the facility is simply older. In the room, the tv barely worked and we finally realized that the remote needed batteries. Fortunately we had some extras from a post safari flashlight we donated. The bathroom had obvious mold in the shower and needs a very deep cleaning and caulking. For the price, the facility should be better! Maybe lower the rates and expectations while working on improving the facility? Thankful the staff and nice breakfast made up for the issues!

Apartment assigned to us had wet carpet in both rooms and smelling bad. We requested change of apartment, which they did next day after they tried to fix (not sure how, when we were out). We booked 3 rooms and all of us checked out with multiple bedbugs bites over our body. They need overhaul, its nice location but terribly maintained property.

Hotel was being renovated with construction workers walking/carrying/working amongst guest. Dust everywhere - workers protected by masks and boots… guest with none navigating glass on the dirty carpets. Walking outside the hotel to their ‘temp’ restaurant that even the staff says is unsafe. Why could they not warn the guests that booked two Months ago that the restaurants, pub, ocean side pool is not available due to construction. The management conned us and we got a stay in a dust ball.
