Great property…clean, convenient, and cool! Sat on porch every evening to visit neighbor cat, watched deer across the road, could hear music from concert on Backstreet one night. Well stocked kitchen and baths, comfy beds. Love that it’s all on one level. Will definitely choose this property again.

This house is wonderful! It's cozy and clean. The bath towels are big and soft! The bed linens are comfortable. The kitchen has anything you could want. The yard is well kept. We were greeted on our first day by a flock of cardinals. Beautiful. Love being close to downtown. And a nice surprise...Church bells play songs at noon and 6 pm. This is gem of a place!

This home is within walking distance to downtown, but far enough from the main busy streets to enjoy privacy. Lots of upgrades, very clean and nicely furnished. TV's are extra sharp and have lots of channels and streaming options. Will definitely return!

A lovely little house with woods on 2 sides. The hill getting to the house may be a little intimidating as the uphill traffic is moving quite quickly downhill by the time you see them and the hill is quite steep there. But it is a neighborhood road and doesn't seem to experience any significant traffic other than the typical commute times. The house itself is very well appointed and cozy. I found it to be a perfect fit for my husband & me. Loved that there was coffee, condiments & means to store leftovers. The washer & dryer was wonderful too. Walk to downtown. My favorite part tho, was what was in the library. Loved that the owner had a field guide for native NC wildflowers. Especially since I was doing a tour at the Bluff Mtn. Conservancy. I had stayed at another property in W. Jefferson and I really liked that house. Well, I like this one better. Will stay here again.

This is our second time renting The Carolina Place and we love it so much that we’re definitely coming back in the future. Everything about this house is so easy. It’s a great floor plan and the owner has it set up nicely. Not a huge list of things to get done before checking out. Comfortable couch and fully stocked kitchen. Clean and tidy!Thanks Michele

I visit West Jefferson, often. This home was perfect. It was extremely clean with all necessities that a person needed. There were plenty of dishes/utensils in kitchen, a coffee pot, plenty of towels in bathrooms, and all furniture was comfortable. I would highly recommend this home for two couples or a family with children!

We had a wonderful time at Carolina Place. The home is extremely clean, beautifully remodeled and updated, quiet neighborhood surrounded by trees, and just a short distance from downtown West Jefferson. The location was also convenient for exploring the surrounding area. The owners were quick to respond to any questions we had. We highly recommend the property and would stay here again.

This is the 2nd time my friend and I stayed here while attending a workshop. This home is perfect for us with two bedrooms and two baths. The space was spotless, nicely decorated, and stocked with thoughtful touches that made me feel right at home. The location was perfect—close to the cutest little downtown but still quiet and peaceful for a good night's rest.Communication with the host was top-notch. The location was great and and the neighborhood is quiet. We loved hearing the church bells ringing at 6:00pm. The only setback was the spotty wi-fi in the mountains and the house has a ROKU TV that needs wi-fi in order to use it. Be ready to plug and unplug the TV several times during your stay.

The house was wonderful as was the host. Perfect size the 2 couples with 2 beds and 2 full bathrooms. Loved that the bedrooms had luggage stands, no suitcases on the floor!The neighborhood was quiet and in walking distance to town, the hill going back to the house may be challenging for some.

Perfect in every way! Roomy for two couples. Pretty furnishings. Plenty of towels, dishes and bedding. All the amenities of a hotel. Walking distance to town and beautiful Mountain view. Very helpful and accommodating host. Thank you!

This property was a very nice place to stay. It had everything we could have needed. I really liked the layout and was very clean upon arrival. The location was great and we walked serval times into town. Definitely a place I will stay again and would recommend.
