Fujairah Rotana Resort & Spa - Al Aqah Beach

We had reserved this hotel in advanced, selecting a specific room category. However, upon arrival, after driving more than two and a half hours to reach the resort, we were informed that the room we had booked and paid for was no longer available. The only alternatives proposed by the hotel were either to accept a very basic room with breakfast included as compensation, or to cancel the reservation altogether. This proposal was particularly inappropriate given that we are currently observing Ramadan, and the breakfast offered therefore had no value for us. After making a long trip specifically to stay at this hotel, being placed in such a situation is extremely disappointing and reflects a lack of professionalism in the management of confirmed reservations.

Amazing

Stayed at the hotel during the long Eid weekend in June 2025. Despite being very busy and booked to capacity the service and experience was very good due the friendly and cheerful staff of the hotel. Even though we had a booking for a standard ocean view room, upon request we were alotted a much more spacious room with the ocean view in the main building. Even though it lacked a balcony the room size made up for it giving us and our son more room to relax. The hotel has an amazing private beach and equally stunning large pool area that can accommodate a large number of people without feelung over crowded. Great for some family fun to beat the heat. Other great amenities include a kids club where you can leave your kid in the care of the super sweet staff, special mention to Dasha who took great care of our son and made sure he had a memorable time there. The breakfast spread in the morning while not huge, is very adequate and serves a good wholesome first meal of the day. Also the other restaurants and bars have a good variety of cuisines and we enjoyed the inroom service food on both nights. To sum it up we had a great stay and woukd definitely visit again in future. Very recommended.
