Grotta Resort is a beautiful property 20 minutes from the gorilla trekking at Volcanoes National Park. Our rooms were huge and comfortable with balconies overlooking the pool and lush gardens. The pool and Jacuzzi were well maintained. The reception desk staff were welcoming and helpful. Food in the restaurant was good, but service was slow, a problem we noticed virtually everywhere we went in Rwanda.

Our stay at Grotta Resort was very comfortable and the staff were amazing. It’s very convenient if you want to do Gorilla trekking. We were picked up and dropped off at Kigali by the resort, our driver Enock really looked after us and made sure we arrived at our destinations.
