The hotel was empty for sitting in such demanding area. The restaurant was understaffed and couldn’t get service because the only 3 waiters were attending 1 table with a party of 15 people. The hotel promotes their rooftop bar, and we were told is closed because they didn’t have the capacity to attend the big party and the bar at the same time. The hotel is beautiful and receptionists very friendly. Restaurant and bar very disappointing

We really enjoyed our stay. Lots of PROs and just a couple CONs. The good far outweighed the bad. Our room was wonderful, big, clean, comfortable. We had a suite and it overlooked the park. CON was the street noise. It is loud. We were so tired after days out we fell asleep anyway. Service in the bar and bartender Gustavo was fantastic! Raul was fantastic too! By chance we met the owner on New Years day and he was delightful. PRO The front desk clerk (Edwardo) that worked morning shift was wonderful, helpful, friendly. CON The late afternoon/night front desk clerk was lazy, not friendly and not helpful (didn’t get his name). He was the only bad staff member we had to interact with. Everyone else was great. The worst CON was the water in shower. It sometimes was cold. We read water pressure was bad in other reviews. We had no problem with water pressure, just getting hot showers was hit or miss. My husband thought he figured out how to place the shower head to get maximum heated water. I took a couple cold showers in our 7 day stay. Some days water was hot and fine. Lastly, the maids and maid service team were great. They accommodated our schedule and gave use bottled water whenever we asked. Great service there! Would recommend the hotel. Just be prepared for street noise and possibly a few cold showers and you’ll enjoy this place! We would stay here again!!

It's a comfortable stay. The entire vibe of the hotel is a little vintage. While the balcony view is nice, it's located near a very busy street. So it's hard to actually sit at the balcony and enjoy a quiet afternoon. Desk service can communicate in English, room service was quick and reliable.

Rooms were cleaned a few times a day. No refrigerator tho. Very friendly staff and accommodating! Bar and restaurant were good and location was perfect! Old vintage vibes with lots of culture. The only thing that was negative was that on the reservation with hotels , airport pickup and drop off were listed as an amenity. Which is actually no longer the case.

Green Park was wonderful! The hotel was beautifully appointed, elegant and clean, the staff was friendly and attentive. I would suggest that it would be helpful if the rooms had a mini fridge, access to ice and available irons. The restaurants were very nice and the food was very good. Also, in our room, the shower jet system did not work well making the water pressure too low for a comfortable shower. All in all we had a marvelous stay at the hotel and highly recommend it.

Clean and shiny, comfortable, free bikes were a wonderful way to enjoy a day and the hotel is in the perfect location for biking to Roma or across the park to polanco. (Or Sunday all the way down the reforma) we loved Mexico City. The bar and view cafe was not popular but the greenpark cafe was great!

First the good - the property is located across the street from Chapultepec Park. You have to walk along a very busy street to get to an entrance, but once inside, walking in the park is wonderful. The walk to the various museums is about 30 minutes, or less. Also good- the rooms are incredibly spacious. The decor is old fashioned English, not to my taste, but it was reasonably functional. Now the not good: The bed was super hard and I found it very uncomfortable. The room seemed clean on first look, but there was a lot of dirt. The maid, put in some elbow grease at my request and was able to clean a sticky mess after I convinced her that it wasn't a flaw in the table finish. The small rugs by the bed side were filthy. There's not much going on in the nearby residential area. I ate in the hotel restaurant and wasn't impressed. This hotel aspires to luxury, but it would take a lot to achieve that. The awful: The beautiful king rooms with a view of the park were unbearably noisy due to the relentless traffic, including big noisy trucks. I changed to an interior room, which was quiet and has a view into an interior courtyard. Better than the noise!!

The hotel staff were very friendly and attentive! Room was beautiful and we loved the location! Bathroom could use a deep cleaning (base boards and walls specifically in the toilet area). Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!

The Green Park Hotel is gorgeous, elegant, cozy, spotless, and pampering. The food in the restaurant is outstanding. Even more wonderful than the hotel itself are the loving, kind, helpful and delightful staff there. We were in Mexico City to visit a very sick family member in the hospital and we felt like the compassionate staff carried us through a very difficult time! Muchas gracias to dear Rene, Gerardo, Luis, Musio, Alejandro, and all the others who took such good care of us!

Really clean and extremely nice staff. Rooms are nice, bed was comfortable. It is a bit noisy (Main Street going into the city) but the Park view is relaxing. We walked to get a coffee in morning, very friendly at the coffee shop.

The property itself was very nice ams clean the staff very nice and we had free american breakfast very delicious) i didnt like that there wasn't many options to go eat around the hotel we were across from chapultepec park but the entrance was like a 7-10 min walking distance.

On the very edge of Condessa - not really walkable to Roma Norte. Very large, loud and busy road between the hotel and the park - bring earplugs. This is not a serene location. The exhaust fumes can be smelled through closed windows once the traffic starts. Shower was terrible, only one of the many shower heads worked and it was barely a drizzle. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner. Quite dated but clean. They gave us lots of pillows so that was great. We didn’t try the restaurant or any other facilities as the front desk person explained nothing about it to us. The television was large and new.

The hotel room was spacious, clean, and featured the promised views of the Chapultepec Park, however it lacked a bit of coziness. This is probably a great rate for a family requiring a double queen bed. The room was literally 2x the size of my NYC 1 bedroom apartment. But if you're one or two, I would recommend staying closer to Roma Norte, and making a special trip to wander through the neighborhood. There's no fridge or Nespresso maker, considering there's no lack of space, the basic amenities could be easily added. Cleaning service occurs later in the day then USA hotels, unfortunately interfering with our siesta. So the room was only cleaned once during our 4 day stay. The refresh was good when it happened. The location is very close to Luis Barragán home and studio, Casa Ortega, the mentioned park. It's a 15 to 20 minute walk to Roma Norte as well as the other touristy districts.

First the good - the property is located across the street from Chapultepec Park. You have to walk along a very busy street to get to an entrance, but once inside, walking in the park is wonderful. The walk to the various museums is about 30 minutes, or less. Also good- the rooms are incredibly spacious. The decor is old fashioned English, not to my taste, but it was reasonably functional. Now the not good: The bed was super hard and I found it very uncomfortable. The room seemed clean on first look, but there was a lot of dirt. The maid, put in some elbow grease at my request and was able to clean a sticky mess after I convinced her that it wasn't a flaw in the table finish. The small rugs by the bed side were filthy. There's not much going on in the nearby residential area. I ate in the hotel restaurant and wasn't impressed. This hotel aspires to luxury, but it would take a lot to achieve that. The awful: The beautiful king rooms with a view of the park were unbearably noisy due to the relentless traffic, including big noisy trucks. I changed to an interior room, which was quiet and has a view into an interior courtyard. Better than the noise!!

Rooms were cleaned a few times a day. No refrigerator tho. Very friendly staff and accommodating! Bar and restaurant were good and location was perfect! Old vintage vibes with lots of culture. The only thing that was negative was that on the reservation with hotels , airport pickup and drop off were listed as an amenity. Which is actually no longer the case.

We really enjoyed our stay. Lots of PROs and just a couple CONs. The good far outweighed the bad. Our room was wonderful, big, clean, comfortable. We had a suite and it overlooked the park. CON was the street noise. It is loud. We were so tired after days out we fell asleep anyway. Service in the bar and bartender Gustavo was fantastic! Raul was fantastic too! By chance we met the owner on New Years day and he was delightful. PRO The front desk clerk (Edwardo) that worked morning shift was wonderful, helpful, friendly. CON The late afternoon/night front desk clerk was lazy, not friendly and not helpful (didn’t get his name). He was the only bad staff member we had to interact with. Everyone else was great. The worst CON was the water in shower. It sometimes was cold. We read water pressure was bad in other reviews. We had no problem with water pressure, just getting hot showers was hit or miss. My husband thought he figured out how to place the shower head to get maximum heated water. I took a couple cold showers in our 7 day stay. Some days water was hot and fine. Lastly, the maids and maid service team were great. They accommodated our schedule and gave use bottled water whenever we asked. Great service there! Would recommend the hotel. Just be prepared for street noise and possibly a few cold showers and you’ll enjoy this place! We would stay here again!!

The Green Park Hotel is gorgeous, elegant, cozy, spotless, and pampering. The food in the restaurant is outstanding. Even more wonderful than the hotel itself are the loving, kind, helpful and delightful staff there. We were in Mexico City to visit a very sick family member in the hospital and we felt like the compassionate staff carried us through a very difficult time! Muchas gracias to dear Rene, Gerardo, Luis, Musio, Alejandro, and all the others who took such good care of us!

I don't really write bad reviews for the sake of it! I do understand and respect the others here who have given great reviews for this hotel. But here is my experience: 1)Very unfriendly (bordering rude) staff - would not even help with luggage on check out (2 little kids & despite asking). 2)OLD worn out rooms - no microwave or coffee machine in the room. Ours was a suite! 3)Breakfast! - We opted for rooms with breakfast included. Children below 2 are charged as well, that's fine, but the moment we asked if there was something for the kids to eat, the first thing we were told was "they'll have to pay" :p - fine, we will pay kind sir! Exercising our rights to PAID free breakfast was almost seen as annoying. All in all, it was one of our worst travel stays!

I really enjoyed my stay here. The location is perfect if are wanting to do the museums and monuments in the city center and it's also within easy walking distance of many quaint neighborhoods with lots of outdoor dining options. All in all a really nice and highly recommended hotel option for Mexico City.

On the very edge of Condessa - not really walkable to Roma Norte. Very large, loud and busy road between the hotel and the park - bring earplugs. This is not a serene location. The exhaust fumes can be smelled through closed windows once the traffic starts. Shower was terrible, only one of the many shower heads worked and it was barely a drizzle. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner. Quite dated but clean. They gave us lots of pillows so that was great. We didn’t try the restaurant or any other facilities as the front desk person explained nothing about it to us. The television was large and new.

The hotel was empty for sitting in such demanding area. The restaurant was understaffed and couldn’t get service because the only 3 waiters were attending 1 table with a party of 15 people. The hotel promotes their rooftop bar, and we were told is closed because they didn’t have the capacity to attend the big party and the bar at the same time. The hotel is beautiful and receptionists very friendly. Restaurant and bar very disappointing

La situación de las llaves , que no funcionaban varias ocasiones y teníamos que ir a recepción a que llamaran al ama de llaves para que nos abriera la puerta de la habitación Segundo, la mucama retiró todos los productos de cortesía del baño , estuvimos sin jabón , shampoo, acondicionador, también se llevó el control de la televisión, no supimos porque razón hicieron esto. La cena y desayuno fantástico El lugar muy agradable

Recently stayed for a business trip and found the hotel empty, I think within a week’s stay I came across 3 other guests. Very noisy rooms caused by the main road outside, I found the shower to be okay but it took a while to get warm, pressure was ok. The room sizes are large and have plenty of space. Breakfast was very limited, A plate of fruit slices and a choice of eggs fried or scrambled, coffee on tap and juices. In general the service was good, however being told by a waiter that you’re breakfast is free but my service isn’t was unexpected, I appreciate tips make up their salaries but there’s a better way to express that. All in all an okay stay but I won’t be returning for a 2nd stay.

Green Park was wonderful! The hotel was beautifully appointed, elegant and clean, the staff was friendly and attentive. I would suggest that it would be helpful if the rooms had a mini fridge, access to ice and available irons. The restaurants were very nice and the food was very good. Also, in our room, the shower jet system did not work well making the water pressure too low for a comfortable shower. All in all we had a marvelous stay at the hotel and highly recommend it.

Excellent hotel, very nice, clean and comfortable. The Porter was very kind and helpful. The only comments we would have for improvement would be that it would be nice to have coffee available early (either in the room or in the lobby) and also to provide iron and ironing board in the rooms. Also, the special shower was in need of repair. Thank you

PESIIIMOOO … el inhodoro tenía restos de heces fecales, en la regadera había un bote de shampoo ya usado, el piso estaba sucio tenía mucha basura, la cama incomoda con resortes, el clóset olía a Neftalína, o a viejo, los tapetes del cuarto sucios y manchados ……TERRIBLE el trafico un ruido insuperable a trailers frenando con motor a todas horas y toda la madrugada, solicité la cancelación de mi reserva al día siguiente y me penalizaron con una noche más, el de la recepción GROSERO Y ALTANERO , Pedí plancha y me Pidieron INE para podérmela prestar , el bar los sillones la alfombra sucia y desgastada muy horrible, el restaurante pésima comida muy mala

The hotel staff was not very friendly there was only one staff member that worked outside who was very nice and helpful. The restaurant inside the hotel TheView was very slow, service was horrible, they didnt take your order bring menus and didnt take your order properly but they will add additional meals that we did not order. I personally will not be visiting this Hotel on my next stay and would recommend a different place. Also not sure how many guests there where hotel seemed empty but now it makes sense as to why its empty.

Jose was the First Gentleman that greeted me upon arrival and he was an absolute gem. He guided me immediately and I felt comfortable asking him even the dumbest of questions. I was a female solo traveler and he made me feel safe. The location was great although I will say I got the window to the Bosque de Chapultepec but that intersection is heavy with traffic and the door could never seal properly. I still thought the location was centrally located and I loved the charming restaurants that are very walkable to from the Green Park Hotel. I would stay there again!

Enjoyed my stay at Green Park Hotel. Rooms were large and spacious, a little outdated but really appreciated the space. Staff were very helpful and attentive. Special shout out to Cesar who went above and beyond to help me with my crazy requests! He gave great advice on restaurants and local attractions. Definitely would go back. About a 9 minute walk to nearest metro.
