No elevator from main entrance up. Not good for Disabilities and seniors with health issues like heart, leg and back pain. Should upgrade neither full service elevators.

Clean room. Friendly staff and nice pool

I stayed at this hotel before and didn't have many issues, but on this stay I had a few. The first was that my room card stopped working multiple times. Second, the equipment in the gym is in a state of disrepair - multi-gym machine & elliptical were both broken and there was no water in the water machine. Third, the wallpaper was coming off the wall in the hallway and none of the first floor exit doors are useable to re-enter the building.

Good budget hotel. Was clean. Bed and pillows comfy. Older and worn hotel. Didn't check if pool was open. Ice machines didnt work. I was glad i had earplugs because the C Train was right behind it. Lots of food places around. Gas station for small items across street. I would stay again for a 1 night sleep.

The ice machines were all down the resteraunt was closed under renos. The phone in my room had no buttons. The cleaning lady was helpful. The room was clean but the thermostate was broken but they brought me a portable heater right away. That worked fine. Thats about it

It appears the property is undergoing much needed renovations. Our room had a noisy portable air conditioner unit which needed to be refixed to the window. Dining room closed so no food service at all. Room was clean. The best thing of this stay was the convenience to the C Train and getting to the Stampede or into the city.

Restaurant not operational. Pool water very very cold. No hot tub. Bathroom needs renovating. The beds were comfortable.

Close to transportation, friendly staff, clean rooms. Property older- elevator broken and ice machine broken on Fourth floor.

Housekeeping was friendly to answer some of my questions. Room we had was clean. The only downside is they didn’t offer breakfast during our stay as the restaurant was under renovation. The pool was also clean and well maintained.

Unfortunately no breakfast. If you don't have a car its hard to get around. only fastfood restaurant available close by. Helpful staff, and seemenly clean rooms and facilities for the price you pay I think its fine.

They don't clean the washroom at all. There was a used toothpaste on the bath, and it was super dirty. The price is not cheap as much as its service. They don't care about the room, and customer's feedback. Please don't go.

Stains on sheets and pillow cases unclean bathroom with hair everywhere. Moved to another room even worse with no tv cabinet removed eith gross biohazard liquid on floor. 3rd room offered tiny inoperable tv - no batteries in remote- terrible

Room and bathroom were not clean. Pubic hair on toilet and hair in the tub. The tub was patched with concrete filler and was disgusting enough we didn’t even shower.

To start… the receptionist was quite rude. He never tried to resolve our reservation issue. When we got to the room, we found blood on the sheets, used toilet paper, hair in the shower, and generally poor cleanliness. They had no cleaning staff; the guy who came to bring us new sheets didn't know how to make the bed. Lots of people were smoking marijuana and drinking alcohol. Overall, it was a terrible experience. If I could give it a 0, I would.

For the price, you can't go wrong, comfy beds, clean, a little dated but no complaints.

0 cleanliness rooms were dirty specially bathrooms things were falling off sheets were dirty would not recommend this place to anyone.

If you are looking for just a place to stay - this is it. HOWEVER, there are MANY things wrong with this property. Cleanliness, broken appliances not to mention train tracks and trains directly next door. Hope you like the sounds of trains... every 30 minutes. Funny enough, they didn't even ask me how my stay was...

There was a bug in the bed when we arrived and some mysterious red stains in the bath tub

The rooms were clean. Bed was comfortable otherwise the whole hotel was decent.

Hotel was ok, clean enough, but wallpaper hanging off walls, curtains hanging off,A/C was broken so rooms had portable units that were far too noisy to have on at night

The room in whicj i stayed had a portable ac unit. The venting out the room window wasn't quite flush and was duct taped in. The plastic molding actual fell out of the window. Although i asked to have it fixed ,i wound up gerryrigging a repair myself.

We stayed one night. It wasn’t bad but it was very noisy by the road and from other rooms. The windows were pretty icky but the beds were very comfy and clean. Check in and out was quick. Pool was great and very clean!

It's old and kind of ghetto. It's across the street from train tracks. That would be loud in general, but they had a portable AC unit with the hose running out the window, and the windows are very old, so nothing to really keep the noise out. Loudest hotel room I've ever had. The room came with two bath towels (one of them stained). No hand towels, no face cloths. Bed was decently comfy, bedding etc seemed pretty clean. We had a second 1 night stay booked several days later, but after 1 night we cancelled the second stay and paid an extra 40% elsewhere.

Hotel is quite basic. Needs updating. Walls were paper thin and we could hear all the goings on in the next room as if they were in our room. And of course noisy people partying all through the night. Went to the front desk to ask to change rooms and told no. Not becuase they were full, just they dont do that. Horrible sleep - or lack thereof..

Parking was good. However I had no towels in my room, the AC was terrible and my window was broken. My TV also didn’t work. Good enough for one night but anything more is not worth the cost.

I enjoyed the apartment-like qualities of this “residence and hotel.” The price for my stay of 4 nights was rather inexpensive, the room was comfortable, staff were friendly and attentive, the location was very convenient. If you use the laundry room (thanks to Amenida) the wash takes at least 30-35 minutes, the dryer is similar (no times were posted and staff didn’t know). Check-in starts at *** 4 PM *** resulting in a long line of people attempting to do so. Waited 20 minutes in line only to find out that our room was not ready. After another 15 minutes requested an alternate room. They accommodated the request, however they did not update the system correctly so at 2:00 AM other people tried to enter our room and the key card worked for them! Thank goodness for the security latch! I would not recommend this accommodation based on the lack of front-desk staff resulting in long lines and the lack of cleaning staff resulting in a lack of available clean rooms.

The room didn't have enough toilet paper, towels or pillows. The heat barely works, in the summer the a/c doesnt work. The front staff is awful. We have stayed in this hotel 8 times in 12 months and every time we come back its worse. The front staff yelled at me and was very rude. We will not be bringing our business back here.

I will commend the staff that check us in last night. At first he put us in a room but our next door neighbor is coughing and hacking, even when windows are closed. I phoned and asked if we could be transferred in a more quieter room. Theo was fast in making decisions and transfered us to another room right away. Excellent service. Much appreciated.

Staff was excellent especially Ismail, room was clean. Would stay here again. Would be nice if the restaurant was open.

Check in was rough people complaining some dude throwing cash around in there a 3rd staff member just hanging behind the counter when he could have served somone lineup was out the door of people waiting to check in

I booked two rooms for our group, and after a long 12-hour drive from Vancouver, British Columbia, we arrived at 7 PM. To our surprise, one of our rooms had not been cleaned at all. The bed wasn't made, there were dirty towels, and we even found cigarette butts and leftover chips on the table. Considering check-in time is guaranteed at 4 PM, we expected the room to be ready. I immediately approached the front desk and requested to move to a different room, as we were exhausted from the drive and just wanted to rest. Unfortunately, the staff didn't seem willing to explore any solution. Instead, they told us we'd have to wait 15 minutes for housekeeping to clean the room. We found this unreasonable and decided to wait outside, as it seemed impossible for the room to be properly cleaned in such a short amount of time. (And honestly, I doubted they’d even change the sheets!) On top of that, the front desk staff member was not approachable or helpful. Her demeanor gave the impression that she wasn’t interested in assisting us, which was incredibly frustrating. While the building itself may be older, the lack of customer service made the experience even more disappointing. I wouldn't recommend staying here based on the poor service.

The hotel is in a bad area of Calgary. Very busy and loud road, and the train is right by the hotel.

We had a great stay at Amenida Residences! The location is very convenient — just a 5-minute walk to the CTrain and about 10 minutes from downtown. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything you need, including a mini fridge, coffee maker, and toiletries. The staff were professional, and my $100 security deposit was refunded within a couple of days without any hassle. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Calgary!

Amenida is centrally located in Macleod trail, Calgary. A short drive to Safeway, Dollarama, Chinatown, and beautiful attractions like Prince’s Island Park, Bow River Pathway, Peace Bridge. Our room with 2 queen beds was big, clean and had a very nice washroom. The pool also looked great.

I was expecting something like how they market the place online but it wasn’t, the pictures online were only for marketing purposes and not the ones in the property. Our overall stay was good, our room was clean (we are not the messy type of guests so i know they didnt have a hard time during our stay), the staff were accommodating/easy to approach. They don’t offer breakfast but it wasn’t a challenge since the place is surrounded with a lot of good restaurants, even near to shopping centers and gas stations. Few improvement on the cleaning part, at the side door going to the parking lot coz everytime we used yhay door going to the parking, it was stinky.

There was no complimentary coffee in the lobby & no restaurant. These were advertised as amenities. Housekeeping staff couldn’t speak English, didn’t replace burned-out light, replaced hand towels with only face cloths. What were those awful stains on the tub? Hotel rooms are 25 years overdue for a renovation.

Room was clean, and quiet at night (excellent to catch up on well needed sleep). But A/C was through large bulky portable unit; with attached enormous dryer like hose, taking up 1/4 of the free room space. It did keep the room nice and cool though. There was NO breakfast at the hotel AT ALL, eventhough it is advertised at hotels.com & expedia that there is breakfast included. You must walk outside hotel through busy traffic area to buy breakfast. "Dee" the operational manager & Grant and Ismael (front desk personnel) were very kind and helpful -even providing me with bottled spring water upon arrival. Definitely strong 3-STAR hotel; and for the price was worth the cost. Nice Stay.

I think offering a complimentary breakfast can go a long way, I was under the impression this hotel offered the buffet but was wrong so I had to leave for food
