No restaurant available. Just complimentary breakfast. The second morning the plate were not refilled quickly and people could not get much for breakfast. The hotel is nice and clean. Parking is free. Near Place Laurier shopping mall. About 15 min drive to downtown Quebec which is pretty good. Personnel are very friendly. The lobby is also very nice. Seems to be a busy spot for bus tourism. 3 buses arrived during our stay. But overall very nice. The inside pool looks a very small.

Excellent hotel. Spacious rooms, recently renovated, very clean. Hotel is located in a safe area. Onsite parking was free and convenient. Free breakfast was a nice perk (hot buffet, pancakes, toast, bagels, cereal, coffee/tea, juice). Clean pool open until 11pm, gym is well equipped and 24/7. Staff were attentive and quickly resolved an issue upon arrival. We will definitely stay here again.

We stayed for 2 nights (Saturday-Monday). We checked in late but notified them ahead of time. Despite the late arrival, we were still welcomed with a friendly happy attitude by the front concierge staff. We were very well informed about the hotel, the restaurant & fast food near the area, so the staff is very knowledgeable and accommodating. All staff can speak and understand English very well. Superb on cleanliness, especially the rooms. The beds are very comfortable, spacious room, standup shower-superb, gym is clean and has no bad odour smell. Pool is warm and cozy, very clean. Hotel was a fair price considering we stayed on the weekend. Overall, we had a fantastic time in Quebec city and the hotel. Housekeeping staff are doing an amazing job, place is very well kept, very very clean and smells good. The hotel location is very convenient as it is close to all the ammenities/tourist area. Canyon Sainte-Anne is just about a 50 min drive, best waterfalls location I've been so far. Montmorency Falls is also not too far from there. The city is only 18 min away from the hotel. Beautiful Fairmont Chateau Hotel. The most important thing for us, besides the cleanliness and comfortness, is the Safety. We felt safe around the area, the only downside is the road construction. It's almost on all streets. Amazing, amazing!!! We will definitely come back to this hotel when we visit Quebec City again.

We stayed on the 2nd floor but be forewarned, there is no elevator. The hotel is built on a rock so you enter the main floor and then have to go up two flights of stairs and then down one to access your room. I would suggest staying on ground floor if you have mobility issues. We had a two queen room which was super small but the beds were very comfortable. Staff was friendly, breakfast was basic continental. Parking is cramped and almost full when we got there at 4 so the extra lot looks to be a pain to access with luggage. Road construction was taking place so it’s somewhat chaotic around the hotel.

First night around midnight the people staying below us were very noisy. The night attendant at the front desk refused to ask them to quiet down, forcing us to pay for a 2nd room to move to. Reported this to hotel manager the next day, who said she would have a conversation with the desk attendant to see what happened. She said she would send me an email with her response to the situation. It is now 5 days later and haven’t heard from her. Also found a dead bug in my bed, along with some larvae. This place is disgusting, and the attempt to make our stay any more pleasant was non-existent. We will NEVER stay here or any other Ascend property again. Thanks for nothing, your hotel is a dump and your customer service sucks.

Das Hotel liegt an einer Hauptstrasse, aktuell ist hier eine große Baustelle, denke wenn hier viel Verkehr ist ist es in den Zimmern zu hören Die Zimmer sind groß und die Betten sind sehr bequem. Leider ist das ganze Hotel sehr dunkel gehalten und wirkt ungemütlich und veraltet. Das Bad hätte eine Renovierung nötig. Auch die Lobby wirkt dunkel und ungemütlich. Wir waren 3 Nächte dort, es war in Ordnung für uns.

La chambre est propre et agréable, bien que quelque peu petite. En revanche, les lits sont vraiment très confortables. Le petit-déjeuner inclus est un gros plus : offert sous forme de buffet, il est varié et très généreux. Les enfants ont beaucoup apprécié la piscine, dont la température est idéale (29 °C). Le seul point qui m’empêche de donner 5 étoiles concerne l’insonorisation, qui est déficiente. Après la première nuit, un passage à la pharmacie pour acheter des bouchons d’oreilles a toutefois réglé le problème!

We stayed for two nights and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. Check-in was poorly handled. we were told no clean rooms were available and asked to wait. While we were sitting right in front of the reception, staff began checking in other guests, and when we followed up, we were told they had forgotten we were waiting. On our second day, we were woken up by a mistaken 5 a.m. wake-up call, which left us starting our last day of vacation tired and with headaches. We reported this issue, and while we were told someone would follow up with us regarding compensation, we never heard back. Overall, the lack of attention to guests and poor communication left us quite disappointed.

We had a hard time sleeping since there was a construction site right in front of the hotel. We asked if we could change room the 2nd night, staff accomodated us which we appreciated. However, in the second room, we could hear everything the hallway, the heavy doors have no stopped so they slam loudly whenever someone goes in or out of their room, could hear all the conversations, the other rooms' tvs and all. Soundproofing the room with door improvements would hugely upgrade the experience. We were disappointed since it was advertised as "soundproof rooms". We changed hotel for the 3rd night. Included breakfast is decent and convenient.

Housekeeping staff are doing an amazing job, place is very well kept, very very clean and smells good. The hotel location is very convenient as it is close to all the ammenities/tourist area. Canyon Sainte-Anne is just about a 50 min drive, best waterfalls location I've been so far. Montmorency Falls is also not too far from there. The city is only 18 min away from the hotel. Beautiful Fairmont Chateau Hotel. The most important thing for us, besides the cleanliness and comfortness, is the Safety. We felt safe around the area, the only downside is the road construction. It's almost on all streets. Amazing, amazing!!! We will definitely come back to this hotel when we visit Quebec City again.

First night around midnight the people staying below us were very noisy. The night attendant at the front desk refused to ask them to quiet down, forcing us to pay for a 2nd room to move to. Reported this to hotel manager the next day, who said she would have a conversation with the desk attendant to see what happened. She said she would send me an email with her response to the situation. It is now 5 days later and haven’t heard from her. Also found a dead bug in my bed, along with some larvae. This place is disgusting, and the attempt to make our stay any more pleasant was non-existent. We will NEVER stay here or any other Ascend property again. Thanks for nothing, your hotel is a dump and your customer service sucks.

This was our third stay at this hotel and again no real complaints our room was not accessible but we didn’t think to ask before hand. The mall is two blocks away and very easy access to the scenic drive to Old Quebec and also the business route which can get very busy on a week day. Breakfast was good every morning and a great bonus where we would have spent $100 a day just for breakfast for 4. Clean fresh towels everyday. Overall a great stay.

Great stay. Good location with a nice scenic drive to old Quebec only 15 mins away. St Hubert’s next door was a nice addition. Construction in the front of the hotel but it was eat to access from the front or back. Would recommend.

Aside the breakfast being the same everyday, the stay was lovely. The covered parking is a plus as we had a strong snow storm and the parking saved us the hassle of car snow clearing. The staff service is very friendly. Accessible to a bus stop that can take you to old Quebec as the parking there is scarce. The parking at city hall is most appropriate if you have to take the car.

The breakfast menu was good, but could have more variety (fruits and proteins) I cannot est gluten and dairies. Having the list of ingredients would have been great to know what I could of eat. À least hard boiled eggs would make a complete meal. I really enjoyed finding gluten free oatmeal. The test was really great. Staff was really kind.

Very clean hotel with excellent staff. Room was very nice with an excellent bathroom. My room was on one of 2 floors without an elevator or ramp of any kind, which made carrying some very heavy luggage to the room difficult. I would not recommend staying at this hotel. The check in process was smooth and the gentleman was lovely, as was the gentleman who did our check out. However, a few concerns with the room, greasy slippery floor in the room, bathroom door would not close as it was broken, towels were not restocked after the first day/night. It was indicated on a pamphlet in the room that after the first night they would be. We proceeded to call the front desk to ask for some clean towels and she argued saying we must have left the do not disturb on the door, meaning they would not come in and refresh anything. We did not leave this sign on the door as the same pamphlet indicated that if you leave it on after 12 nothing will be restocked so we ensured we did not. We went to the front desk after she refused on the phone and she continued to argue about the door sign and then proceeded to tell us there were no more towels in the hotel. The hotel was also very loud and rooms are not soundproof nor does there seem to be concrete in between the floors as it sounded like there was a wrestling match going on above us for hours each evening. The breakfast that was included was cold and stale. For these reasons, I would not recommend staying at this hotel and we will certainly not be back.
