Room was clean, had everything we needed and had a balcony! Breakfast was a continental and hot food buffet. Dinner was beautiful and well priced. Beautiful hotel with lots of amenities including library, snooker, pool, jacuzzi, gym, hairdressers, spa and golf course. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lots of parking. Lots of areas to sit and lounge/chill out. Disappointed that the rooftop bar that was so highly advertised was closed and padlocked. Yes the weather hasn't been great but it should still be an option for people when it has been advertised so much. Shower was one in the bath. You couldn't adjust the height and no pressure. Online said check in was 4pm but posters in the hotel said 3pm. Reception said "it just depends if we are busy" so probably best to phone and check. Check out is 11am. Usually when check in is 4, check out is 12.

The staff was great—especially Kieran at the desk. The only disappointment was the pool. We had booked for my daughter to swim. The first night—the pool closed early due to a holiday. The morning after, pool time in the morning was for adults only. When we finally got to the pool, we were told swim caps were required and had to be purchased for 2 euros each. In the end, it wasn’t worth paying 2 euros per person since my daughter just wanted to swim for 20 minutes and I was required to be in the pool with her since she was 12 years old. In the USA, parents are allowed to be at poolside to watch kids swim and pool caps not required so we were a bit taken aback by the strict rules.

Room was very clean and spacious. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had some of our meals in the bar which was lovely and had a relaxed atmosphere. The spa was amazing and felt so relaxing definitely worth booking and going to, the staff in the spa were very friendly and the whole atmosphere was great for the price.

This hotel has so much to offer. It's a little dated and the beds are a little hard for my standard however, don't let that prevent you from staying. From pool to gym to 2 restaurants (granted one was had NO availability the whole time we were there), golf courses, grand staircases and plenty of places to relax and enjoy the views. I would stay there again. The staff beyond exceptional especially Thomas and Michelle! The area was fantastic. Easy to get to the airport. Stay!

We really enjoyed our stay. Trim is a beautiful area with lots of pleasant walks. The pool facilities were excellent and the staff were extremely friendly. The only downsides were not knowing when public classes were on in the pool and some issues with water pressure in the bathroom. Overall it was a really lovely trip

Hard to fault on many levels. Hotel is clean and well maintained. Had an evening meal in the restaurant which was nice. Plenty of parking. Room was clean, good bed and pillows. Ticks all boxes.

This has become a regular stop. The calibre of stay is unbeaten and is fitting close when in Ireland for work. The greeting is always warm and helpful, all other staff are equally accommodating. This trip there were two small glitches, the bathroom need a deep clean where accessories meet the wall. And, cold plates at breakfast is not acceptable. That said, visiting the dining areas vis the grand reception is its own reward.

Have stayed here a few times now and really enjoy the hotel,however this time very noisy. This was due to the bedroom doors,they need adjusting,as each time anyone entered their rooms the door was prone to slam shut.you can imagine this happening for most of the night.guests coming to bed at all hours,very unsettling.

Pool looked fab in the pictures but was just the way the pictures was taken. It was ok but not fab. Good hotel but didn’t think anything special. Was very disappointed with the room due to loud noise from the vents, didn’t really sleep the two nights die to this. Tried to change the room after check-in but got room on same side and noise was still there. Didn’t think they cared when I mentioned it again on check-out. Breakfast was good but again nothing special, no cheese for example or brown bread except of soda.

Just found a few of the waiting staff were carrying the rest of them. The cards for getting into room also didn’t work having to go back to reception to recode them or ask cleaners to open room if they happened to be close by. Lovely place to stay though but just need weed out the bluffers as they ruin it for the rest of the hard working staff.

The golf course was absolutely beautiful. The staff we're very professional, friendly, and helpful. The hotel is presently going under some renovations so they quickly moved us from a room with no air con to a romm with.

A very quick overnight stay. Food was fabulous. Our checkout was extremely early am and we were offered breakfast bags which to be ready at 7am unfortunately this didn’t materialise.

Beautiful and quiet luxurious hotel. Great breakfast buffet. location to trim castle and other spots, right on golf course if thats your thing. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Stayed at 3 hotels around ireland on trip and this was our favorite!

Really lovely large buildings with nice grounds. Very well priced a d lovely spa facilities included. Only downside was lack of places near by to go out and eat without having to drive, other than that, fantastic and the beds are great, really big!

Lovely hotel. Plenty of food options / locations. (Formal/informal/relaxed) Very comfy bed. Sizeable room. Quiet. Relaxing. Gym and pool also great. Staff professional and welcoming. Great breakfast options. Would stay again. Reasonably priced last minute deal on last day of holiday. Convenient for Dublin port.

This hotel has so much to offer. It's a little dated and the beds are a little hard for my standard however, don't let that prevent you from staying. From pool to gym to 2 restaurants (granted one was had NO availability the whole time we were there), golf courses, grand staircases and plenty of places to relax and enjoy the views. I would stay there again. The staff beyond exceptional especially Thomas and Michelle! The area was fantastic. Easy to get to the airport. Stay!

Room was clean, had everything we needed and had a balcony! Breakfast was a continental and hot food buffet. Dinner was beautiful and well priced. Beautiful hotel with lots of amenities including library, snooker, pool, jacuzzi, gym, hairdressers, spa and golf course. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lots of parking. Lots of areas to sit and lounge/chill out. Disappointed that the rooftop bar that was so highly advertised was closed and padlocked. Yes the weather hasn't been great but it should still be an option for people when it has been advertised so much. Shower was one in the bath. You couldn't adjust the height and no pressure. Online said check in was 4pm but posters in the hotel said 3pm. Reception said "it just depends if we are busy" so probably best to phone and check. Check out is 11am. Usually when check in is 4, check out is 12.

Hotel was nice, spacious nicely furnished room comfortable and the hotel has decent facilities. Parking was easy and plentiful. The only thing I found a small bit strange was having to pay extra for coffees at breakfast in addition to already paying for breakfast. I’ve not experienced that in a hotel before it’s a first.

I was a bit disappointed with the dining option on Monday night. There was no restaurant open and a limited menu on the terrace. The bar was also closed which was disappointing meaning I had to go into trim in a taxi to watch the euros

Bedrooms was spacious and clean. Nice view of the golf course. Staff very friendly on reception and in the dining room. Good self service breakfast and nice dinner in restaurant the night before. As it was the Bank Holiday Sunday there were alot of families with small children in the bar area late at night. We were disturbed a few times at night with noise but otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

Building looks very tired from outside. At the evening meal short staffed and had to wait to take order etc. Asked for a quiet room, it was noisy with a wedding function on. Smell of someone smoking on the floor below was evident in our room

This was an amazing short break for myself and my child. The staff was very helpful and my room was spotless. The swimming pool was great and the food was the best I’ve had.I would recommend this hotel to anyone fantastic value for money I will be back!

Very large hotel that is way past its best, tired furnishings & poor customer service! Arrived at 1:45 for a 3pm check in, staff didn't offer to see if room was ready yet and told us check in from 3pm. Postives.....big room & comfortable bed. Negatives.....furniture and bathroom were in desperate need of updating, there was only 1 bottle of water and 1 packet of biscuits even though there was 2 of us - don't get me wrong this didnt make or break our holiday but its poor service! Breakfast was very poor compared to others we stayed at. This was our last stop on a 16 night tour of and the worst stay we had!
