Close to train station, great views, clean room, quiet location. Free breakfast and tea and coffee in the lobby 24/7. The hill was quite a climb but made up for it in the end with the view.

This hotel had amazing views of the Jungfrau region, best in Wengen! Super charming and quaint. We looked forward to waking up for the delicious breakfast every morning, especially for the village baked fresh bread! This hotel is not fancy or upscale but you don’t need that when you are out hiking the mountains every day! Great little patio for evening cocktails while watching the sun set on the mountains.

Hotel Jungfraublick was a very nice choice for a stay in Wengen. It is well maintained, the rooms were large and quite comfortable, and the staff was uniformly helpful. The views were magnificent from the deck where we enjoyed drinks and some snacks. The dining options were limited but good for lunch or snacks, and there were many dinner choices nearby.

We were lucky to get Room 306, which offered the most spectacular panoramic view of the mountains and the charming town below. We visited in October, during the off-season. This hotel is amazing! We were met at the train and driven to the hotel, only to be greeted by the amazing staff - shout out to Sarah, who went above and beyond and patiently put up with our 1,000 questions and always with a smile! Hotel view of town and mountains were breathtaking, perfectly located, clean, complimentary beverage station, library, family (game room), dining room with buffet breakfast and outdoor patio. AND guest washer and dryer, if needed. There are no cars in Wengen, and its small, so be prepared to walk, the hotel is uphill and so worth the stroll! This hotel is highly recommended!!

The hotel has a great view, is on a hill, and is quiet and relaxing. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. I appreciate that coffee and tea are available 24 hours a day in the lobby lounge. However, it is a 10-15 minute walk uphill from Wengen station, so while it's not a problem for people with good legs, it was difficult for elderly people like us. It was great that they provided a free shuttle to the station to take suitcases and other items to and from the hotel. I would definitely like to stay at this hotel again.

awesome stay. only negative thing was there was some strange smell in the room. smelled like fish. not sure what it was. not super inconvenient but it stood out.

Staff friendly with good advice on things to do/where to eat. Rooms cleaned immaculately each day. Good shower and beautiful tile work! Breakfast is really good with great variety. Unfortunately, it was cloudy, foggy, and overcast the whole time we were there so we did not get to experience what I am sure are spectacular views of Wengen. The hotel does sit at the top of a hill so for lots of or large luggage the pick up service is great.

Room and hotel is exceptionally clean. The walk from the train stop is fun, only ten min, and they offer free transport when travelling with luggage. Cool little main street in wengen where you can grab a bite. We were attracted by price and the room was fantastic.

We had a wonderful five-night stay in September. The room was clean and comfortable, the food was delicious, and the staff was courteous and helpful. And on a sunny day, the outdoor bar is divine!

Zimmer mit Dorfblick hatte alles was wir brauchten. Das Bad ist etwas beengt zumindest was die Toilette betrifft. Der Fahrservice zum Hotel war angenehm.

The room was amazing. Couldnt believe the beutiful view we had. The room was spaciouse and had everything we needdd. We had our 16yr old son with us and itvis jard finding rooms that can accomadate another bed that isnt sone uncomfy pullout. He had a bed that was just as comfortable as us. To bad they didnt have toom availsbke for second night as we would loved to of stayed another night

Staff were quite lovely! The hotel is in a beautiful location. The only downside is that it got quite warm in the room at night without any fans. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay and would return again!

Daniel at the front desk did a great job welcoming us warmly when we arrived and throughout the stay. He was a great host with many good recommendations for dining and hiking. We did receive a room upgrade without even asking. The views from the hotel are incredible. The only downside to this property is that the rooms are a little small and haven’t been updated in a while without the modern amenities of newer properties. Overall I would recommend this place for a trip to Wengen or to the Lauterbrunnen valley.

We loved this hotel. We felt extremely welcomed from the moment we arrived. We had a great lunch on the patio before checking in, then had a great Fondue dinner inside after hiking the Panorama trail (the highlight of our entire trip). Breakfast was excellent as well. We got a forest view room, which while small, was updated and modern and made great use of the space. It also had a very nice view of the chalets on the hill and a group of goats. Will be staying there and in Wengen in the future.

Superb views from our Mountain View room with veranda. Room was very well laid out with an excellent bathroom too. The staff were perfect. They even forwarded two pairs of forgotten jeans to my next hotel without any trouble. I will happily stay here again.

Property has an amazing view and great for the price point. The property is a little dated but very clean and has very thing you need especially if you do a room with a mountain balcony view. There is a hike up a fairly steep hill that didn’t bother us but something to be aware of if you have mobility issues. They do offer a shuttle from the train station.

We had an amazing stay here! Front desk help offered so much used information upon check in, including great hikes in the area, restaurants, etc. our Mountain View was gorgeous. Breakfast was free and had a wonderful variety. Restaurant on site was good too.

It was easy to catch the trains from here, and we had seamless trips to Jungfrau and Interlaken. We made unforgettable memories here — ones we'll cherish for the rest of our lives. Daniel at the front desk did a great job welcoming us warmly when we arrived and throughout the stay. He was a great host with many good recommendations for dining and hiking. We did receive a room upgrade without even asking. The views from the hotel are incredible. The only downside to this property is that the rooms are a little small and haven’t been updated in a while without the modern amenities of newer properties. Overall I would recommend this place for a trip to Wengen or to the Lauterbrunnen valley.

This hotel is amazing! We were met at the train and driven to the hotel, only to be greeted by the amazing staff - shout out to Sarah, who went above and beyond and patiently put up with our 1,000 questions and always with a smile! Hotel view of town and mountains were breathtaking, perfectly located, clean, complimentary beverage station, library, family (game room), dining room with buffet breakfast and outdoor patio. AND guest washer and dryer, if needed. There are no cars in Wengen, and its small, so be prepared to walk, the hotel is uphill and so worth the stroll! This hotel is highly recommended!!

We had such a wonderful stay at Jungfraublick! The hotel checked all the boxes — clean, comfortable, and staffed with incredibly kind and helpful people. The view from our balcony was absolutely breathtaking and unbeatable. We really appreciated that the staff came to pick us up at the train station so we didn’t have to pull our luggage uphill, and they even upgraded our room to give us extra space. Breakfast was excellent too — fresh, delicious, and with plenty of options. Overall, we had an amazing experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!

This is a wonderful hotel in an amazing little ski-town. The front desk clerk, Daniel, was extremely helpful. He recommended a hike that was perfect for our attire, hiking level, and desired hike-time. The restaurant on site was excellent for breakfast however, the dinner service was limited since we arrived a little late in the evening. The male server didn't seem thrilled that we were sitting down so late although there were plenty of other guests still enjoying dinner. If I were to complain about one thing about this property, it would be that specific server. Everyone else on the property was a joy to deal with and you should not decide not to stay here because that young man was having a bad day. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Wengen.

This hotel offers a great view of the ALPS and the valley below. Free breakfast in the morning. Easy walk to the train station and center of the city. From Wengen you can then take the Tram to Mannlichen, high recommended. Would recommend this place to anyone visiting the alps and it's an easy train ride up the funicular( yellow train) from lauterbrunnen below. Sit on the left side of the train for the best views coming down.

Such a beautiful location and they are super helpful to come and pick you up or take you back to the train station with your luggage. I really enjoyed staying in Wengen and I suggest it if you don’t want to have to stay right in Lauterbrunnen, it’s so easy to get Back there on the train.

The views are incredible. I would come again & highly recommend it, however I was unaware that the hotel & entire town are not accessible by car. One must park in the valley below ( Lauterbrunnen) and take a train up to the town. Parking is about 9 Euros a calendar day (so an overnight stay costs 18 Euros) and the train which leaves every 30 min costs 7.50 Euros p/p one way. The hotel is a walk uphill from the train station, but there is a hotel shuttle (another fact we were unaware of ) that is very welcome if you have a lot of luggage.

Hotel Jungfraublick was such a wonderful place to stay. While the walk up from the train station was a bit of a climb, it was absolutely worth it for the unmatched views. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made us feel right at home. We had dinner at The Deck and loved both the food and the excellent service. The complimentary breakfast offered plenty of great options to start the day, and it was so easy to head straight out from the hotel for a hike. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Wengen is a charming small town, less touristy and crowded than Interlaken, yet still with plenty of restaurants and shops to enjoy. It’s also cooler during the hot summer days, which made it very comfortable. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The walk up from the station is quite steep, but you can call reception and they will happily pick you up, which was very convenient.

The room we stayed was a good size and had a balcony with the panoramic view of the Swiss alps famous peaks. The bath room was modern nice. The breakfast was a big disappointment. For a hotel with a restaurant, they could not offer hot breakfast other than boiled eggs, really! The selections were cold cereals, cold cuts, some pastry, bread, yogurt and some fruit salad and fruit slices. The selections stayed the same throughout our 3 day stay. So not worth the charge. The fruit did not look appetizing. I ended up buying fruits from a local grocery. Hotel restaurant offered very limited menu as well. Just fondue and burger.

Add to that the fact that the rooms are super clean, the staff is so helpful and friendly (shout out to the desk manager who solved our problem of a broken off cork inside a bottle of wine!) and it just couldn't be better. The breakfasts at the property are a MUST. Fresh, local breads and dozens of options from overnight oats to cold cuts, cheeses, toasts, softboiled and hardboiled eggs, jams, honey, Nutella, everything! The fondue we had (traditional) at the hotel for dinner on day 2 was superb as well. Is it an uphill walk from the train station in Wengen? Yes. But you're in the Alps, right? And they have a shuttle to help if you speak to them. I can't wait for our next trip back and a chance to stay there again!

We loved this hotel. We felt extremely welcomed from the moment we arrived. We had a great lunch on the patio before checking in, then had a great Fondue dinner inside after hiking the Panorama trail (the highlight of our entire trip). Breakfast was excellent as well. We got a forest view room, which while small, was updated and modern and made great use of the space. It also had a very nice view of the chalets on the hill and a group of goats. Will be staying there and in Wengen in the future.

We had a fantastic stay! The staff was friendly, helpful and very accommodating (especially when we didn’t make a dinner reservation and they were booked solid). The property was clean and well-maintained, has many amenities (delicious breakfast, highly-rated restaurant, complimentary coffee/tea/water in the lobby, laundry, game room) and the location is convenient to the train and the main street. Stayed 5 nights at this hotel. Very nice room, we somehow snagged an upgrade and the room was quite spacious. Also best bed and bedding we slept in during our three weeks in Switzerland. Hotel is clean and quiet. Breakfast was very nice, and the other meals we took at the hotel were good as well. View from our room was breathtaking, looking down the Lauterbrunnen valley. Location is a 7 minute walk to the train station, and the hotel offers pick up and drop off on arrival and departure. Cable car is about 5 minute walk from the hotel. Highly recommend, and would definitely stay again.
