Hotel Victoria Lauberhorn Wengen, a Faern Collection Hotel

Clean rooms and helpful staff. Message in the hotel was nice. Hot tub and spa area were closed for renovations which would have been nice to know prior to booking.

The pool was being renovated so we didn’t get to use it but the gym and breakfast were excellent. Walls between the rooms are a little thin but everyone is there to hike so no late night noise but we could hear our neighbours speaking. Overall a great place to stay.

The pool, sauna and hot tub areas were closed and we weren’t made aware of this ahead of time, which for us was significant because my husband is disabled and could not get to the up the hill location of the alternate location for the sauna, pool and hot tub. Additionally, the alternative location was open until just 15:00. Which didn’t work for my daughter who works remotely. So the trip we planned didn’t end up being the trip we planned. We were offered a refund of sorts, but a simple “heads up” would have been much preferred and would have saved our family birthday trip for my husband. The room was loud in that you could hear neighbors, but the view from our balcony and the hotel food was excellent.

I was skeptical about the property when i booked it. Now after staying for four days and three nights, I can say it’s a great property. Very big. Rooms are decent. We had the mountain side view which was awesome as i could see Lauterbrunen valley from the big room balcony. Though bathrooms were not big, I was not small either. The breakfast served was awesome with great views and very big. I liked their coffee machine. They have a big restaurant witch has an internal access and is always well occupied.

Perfect location right next to the ski train going to Kleine Scheidegg and a cable car going to Mannlichen. Amazing spa with warm sea water pool fuul of water jet massage spots, hamam, sauna, dipping pools, and an ice water plunge bucket. Breakfast choices are a bit repetitive, but plentiful.
