Leider hatten wir dieses Mal einige Unannehmlichkeiten, die einem 5 Sterne Hotel nicht ganz entsprechen. Laute Zimmernachbarn (Karaoke bis 2 Uhr früh), kaputte Lichtschalter, defekte Kaffeemaschine, teilweise kaputt Einrichtung des Zimmers, kein Orangensaft (!) beim Frühstück, Vergessen des Amuse Bouche beim Abendessen… Insgesamt ein schönes Hotel mit toller Aussicht, aber leider nicht den Erwartungen entsprechend. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben war das Fondue in der Gondola und dort auch der Service - das war 1a! Der Spa Bereich ist für meinen Geschmack zu klein und das Wasser im Großen Pool (grad für den Winter) zu kalt. Die angesprochenen negativen Punkte wurden versucht von dem Personal des Hotels so gut es geht zu lösen und zu entschädigen.

The hotel were very accommodating. They upgraded our room to a Junior suite. And we had a bottle of red wine (Grenache) from their vineyard on the house. Which was a very good wine. Also by chance the pool and spa was closed for maintenance on the days we were there. However they were very nice and let me use the sauna and steam room in the private spa that couples can book.

Exceptional in every way from amenities, location, view and cleanliness. The housekeeping and turndown service was the best we’ve ever experienced. With a deep clean everyday. If you’re considering this place, don’t hesitate! We stayed here along with two other hotels for a road trip across Switzerland and honestly wished we stayed here the full trip. Nothing compared. Keep it up and well done to everyone that works there that keeps it so exceptional. The staff all say hi and are really considerate with their guests. Book and enjoy!

Positive notes: The staff is welcoming and helpful. The main property is quite nice and has amazing views, the breakfast has a nice selection as well. Negative notes: I decided to upgrade my stay to a deluxe room and I am very glad I did the bathroom was very outdated and had a small tub with poor water pressure. Out of the 2 other low price range hotels and 1 BnB I booked while in Switzerland this was hands down the lowest quality of them all which was unexpected for the price of the room. My wife and I were enjoying the pool area when asked to leave at 21:45 (15 minutes before it closed) Overall: if you’re paying to stay in new wing of the hotel I’m sure it is an amazing experience, but if you’re staying in the “historic” wing then expect to enjoy the public areas of this hotel and not your room and it’s privacy.

I can only rave about how amazing this property is. The rooms, the amenities, the staff, it was impeccable from start to finish. Not only were my needs met, they were anticipated and exceeded. The spa was fantastic, the food exceptional, and the staff truly excited to ensure a great experience. I originally may have thought the price was a bit high, but believe me it is worth every Franc! Cannot wait to stay here again, the best hotel!

We stopped here on our way to Italy from Paris. Of the 6 different cities we visited, this was my husband and son's favorite. The view is just breathtaking from all areas of the hotel. The staff was very polite and professional. Breakfast and dinner were amazing. The room was very nice and roomy and had a large balcony. We went into town (very easy to get around) and we literally were asking ourselves if we were in heaven. It's hard to describe; it was the epitome of relaxation. There were people all along the shore visiting, swimming, walking, but it wasn't crowded or loud. There were a lot of little places to get coffee or ice cream or a bite to eat. We walked a long way around the shore. We definitely want to come back and explore more of Switzerland!

A complete disappointment on my 2nd stay at this hotel. The hotel is seriously falling apart. A luxury junior suite with a lake view had overgrown bushes / could barely see the lake. And holes in the patio furniture made it a non-welcoming experience. After sometime negotiating with management, I was moved to a suite in the original building. It was nice but the Air Conditioning went out… It felt like staying in a sauna during a holiday. Not fun! The property is in dire beed of restoration! Definitely not 5 stars and definitely not worthy of an accolade from The Leading Hotels of the World. All that said, I do appreciate the follow up email received from the general manager when I reached to him vis LinkedIn.

Positive notes: The staff is welcoming and helpful. The main property is quite nice and has amazing views, the breakfast has a nice selection as well. Negative notes: I decided to upgrade my stay to a deluxe room and I am very glad I did the bathroom was very outdated and had a small tub with poor water pressure. Out of the 2 other low price range hotels and 1 BnB I booked while in Switzerland this was hands down the lowest quality of them all which was unexpected for the price of the room. My wife and I were enjoying the pool area when asked to leave at 21:45 (15 minutes before it closed) Overall: if you’re paying to stay in new wing of the hotel I’m sure it is an amazing experience, but if you’re staying in the “historic” wing then expect to enjoy the public areas of this hotel and not your room and it’s privacy.

We stopped here on our way to Italy from Paris. Of the 6 different cities we visited, this was my husband and son's favorite. The view is just breathtaking from all areas of the hotel. We went into town (very easy to get around) and we literally were asking ourselves if we were in heaven. It's hard to describe; it was the epitome of relaxation. There were people all along the shore visiting, swimming, walking, but it wasn't crowded or loud. There were a lot of little places to get coffee or ice cream or a bite to eat. We walked a long way around the shore. We definitely want to come back and explore more of Switzerland!

Leider hatten wir dieses Mal einige Unannehmlichkeiten, die einem 5 Sterne Hotel nicht ganz entsprechen. Laute Zimmernachbarn (Karaoke bis 2 Uhr früh), kaputte Lichtschalter, defekte Kaffeemaschine, teilweise kaputt Einrichtung des Zimmers, kein Orangensaft (!) beim Frühstück, Vergessen des Amuse Bouche beim Abendessen… Insgesamt ein schönes Hotel mit toller Aussicht, aber leider nicht den Erwartungen entsprechend. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben war das Fondue in der Gondola und dort auch der Service - das war 1a! Der Spa Bereich ist für meinen Geschmack zu klein und das Wasser im Großen Pool (grad für den Winter) zu kalt. Die angesprochenen negativen Punkte wurden versucht von dem Personal des Hotels so gut es geht zu lösen und zu entschädigen.
