A true 5 Star Hotel. The view speaks for itself. We stayed in a corner room facing the Matterhorn. The staff was incredibly attentive from the moment a porter met us at the Zermatt station until they loaded our luggage onto our departing train. Since they are slower in the summer, the service felt concierge level at every turn. We took advantage of the spa and outdoor pool. Just be aware that the saunas are nude zone and co-ed. The Italian restaurant was excellent and the breakfast plentiful. Be sure to try the unaffiliated restaurant Alphitta just past the hotel toward the hiking trails.

Wir hatten einen ausgezeichneten Aufenthalt im Riffelalp Resort. Der Blick auf das Matterhorn ist einfach grossartig, auch wenn man diesen imposanten Berg schon oft gesehen hat. Die etwas aufwändige Anreise mit der Gornergrat lohnt sich alleweil für einen Aufenthalt in diesem Resort. Der Service im Hotel ist durchgängi auf einem sehr hohen Niveau, das Personal ist sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und ausgesprochen sauber. Die Ruhe in der Nacht ist fantastisch, ebenso der Blick zum Sternenhimmel in der Nacht. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr gepflegt und bietet eine breite Auswahl an frischen Speisen, welche sehr ansprechend präsentiert werden. Auch das Abendessen war von ausgezeichneter Qualität. Wir haben diesen Aufenthalt ausgesprochen genossen und werden sehr gerne wiederkommen.

ホテルからの景色は、これ以上文句なし！室内からのマッターホルンも素晴らしい眺めでした。ホテルのスタッフも皆さん各所で素晴らしい接客をして頂き、到着前の質問にも細かく返事をしてくれたり、当日はツエルマットの駅で大きな荷物を受け取ってくれて、すぐに観光に行けたので、無駄になる時間がなくて、充実した観光も出来ました。ホテルと駅までは常時トロッコ列車もゴルナーグラード鉄道の運行時刻に合わせ、運行してくれていたので高齢者の足の弱い親を連れての滞在でも問題なく往き来出来ました。レストランを含め3か所あるので、街に降りずとも食事に困ることは有りませんでした。部屋にエアコンが無いので、日中は扇風機でもあればよかったですが、夜は冷えるので昼の気温の高い日のみ注意が必要です。スパやボーリング場などあり、天気が悪かったらやってみたかった。 ゴルナーグラード鉄道のチケットは、リッフェルアルプ駅舎の中に、自動券売機が設置されていたので、時間に関わらず券売機でチケットの購入可能で非常に便利になりました

One of my favorite stays ever taken. We had a couple of untimely requests and they were met within minutes. And oh the views are mind boggling. Definitely coming back in the winter. Thanks to all the Riffelalp staff. See you again soon.
