The fireplace, lobby staircase, and room for the indoor pool were nicely designed, but everything else was dated and worn out. It felt dirty. There was a hole in the wall of our room, a broken light switch, and the lighting was awful (including a missing bulb in the bathroom). Our hairdryer was also a problem, only turning on and off with the plug...which sparked when unplugged. The breakfast area was a bit dirty and really lacking in fresh fruit and juice choices. There was no milk for cereal or to drink. There never anyone at the front desk and we had to ring a bell. Just not welcoming in that way.

This is a great, clean and quiet hotel for a family! The pool is great, I wish it was a bit warmer, but we enjoyed it any way! Breakfast is decent. We are coming back!

Empty vending machine

Property was just ok. Room was reasonably clean. In need of maintenance. Tub faucet was leaking/dripping and tub is stained. Faucets have soap scum stains. There was a dirty ashtray in the night table drawer in our non smoking room. Vending machines were empty.

The property was dated. Don’t get me wrong, it serves us well for what we were there for, but in general, the conditions of the property, mostly in the hallways and public areas were worn and dated.

The check in process was fair. The desk area is always empty becasue the employee has to do 1000 different tasks. Pool smelled moldy and funky. No lights turned on even when it's dark. Had to request lights to be turned on amd asked for pool towels. Lobby had no air conditioning. It felt like a completely different country with horrible amenities and service. Paid for 3 nights- left after the first night. Didn’t even bother asking for a refund. Lesson learned- newer again. Don"t just look at online pictures of the hotel, read the reviews. Definitely not a great stay.

Pool was closed due to maintenance the entire stay. Would have been nice to know in advance.

The pool was warm, the staff was friendly, overall experience was good, would come back.

Great hotel at affordable price! Clean rooms, good breakfast. They do have a very strict pool policy, only registered guests may use the pool. You have to sign folks in at the front desk in order to swim. So if you are visiting cousins / grandkids and hoping to invite them for a swim, think again...

This property is very easy to access. It is exceptionally clean in our room and common areas. Very spacious room as well.

The room was not clean. I paid for a efficient room. There was food left in the microwave (a bowl with a fork and some type of food), no tissue paper on the roll, no paper towels, no dish detergent in the kitchen, old dirty sponges in the kitchen the room was not sanitize. The shower floor had mold in the cracks of the tile and around the base of the shower. Because they could not give me another room, I have to purchase shower shoes to take a shower. I was not conversate for the unsatisfied room. I have to pay the full price. I had taken some pictures of the shower floor and the dirty sponges. I would never stay at another Comfort Inn establishment or recommend.

Outdated facilities, dirty dishes in the dishwasher. Not as clean as I would have liked.

Bathroom not clean, ceiling water damage and pealing, door jamb coming off, dirt in corners had to have a dehumidifier in the room overall not a good stay won't return.

The room was not very clean. Especially the bathroom. We were there for a lacrosse tournament. So there were not many options.

You can tell there was a recent renovation but the rooms left us smelling of mold. Other than that the place was nice and the staff was nice and courteous.

Booked as a one night stay after a day at the beach. Aside from a few cosmetic issues, the hotel was up to standard. Our biggest issue was the placement of the drapes in the room. There is a wide windowsill and the AC unit is just under the windowsill. The tracks for the sheer curtains and the heavy drapes are in front of the windowsill and AC unit. The tracks allow for only the sheer curtains to be closed the whole way. Closing them blocks the air. But even that aside, there is a LARGE outdoor light directly outside the window that shines in all night. Made it very difficult to get a good night sleep. The bed was good. The room itself was ok. The drapes were off the rails. The desk clerk had to fix the lights over the beds. The shower was a slow drain—ankle deep in water and no mat do it was very slippery. The bathroom sink also had a very slow drain. The breakfast was good. We thought it was a little overpriced for the condition it was in.

Had to switch rooms because they were unable to find a 9v battery to stop the chirping in a smoke detector!

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. I was excited to have use of the pool because the kids loved it and entertained themselves there for a long time! The only issue that I had was the noise from surrounding rooms. It seems the walls are pretty thin. Overall, I was happy with our stay!

Everything is perfect except the beds they are very old and makes terrible noise every time you move

Customer service was great. Clean rooms with comfortable beds and perfect water temperature for shower. Everything one would need in the room ie microwave, refrigerator and toiletry. Happy with our choice.

It was just OK. The beds will a little too firm for me. The entrance to the site was a little odd, you ended up in the neighboring Popeye's if you were not careful. Breakfast did not look that palatable, so we went to the local diner. For a couple of nights, it was fine.

Spacious room and comfortable bed. I personally like a bathtub though, and it only had a shower. Also, couldn't watch TV because the batteries in the remote were dead. Little detail. Otherwise, it was great !!!

The breakfast was suppose to start at 6 am but it was almost 8 am and no breakfast. The price per night was $400 because of the lacrosse tournament at DE Turf but this place was more of a $40 a night motel. Will never stay here again. I should get my money back. Total disappointment.

Went there to get sleep however my room was close to the lobby and the employees were yelling and laughing in the lobby at 11pm. I thought people were arguing near my door until I opened it and realized it was just the employee and maybe their friends . I was woken up by a lady with a high pitch very loud voice. No consideration for anyone trying to sleep.

The hotel was great but the front counter person was never there and did not come when you rang the bell. Waited for 20 minutes one time never showed up. Need to improve customer service.

The night staff is terrible. When you choose a place to be able to have a hot breakfast and find out it is no longer available at the property is frustrating. I was there for a sports tournament and had 2 teenage boys with me they showered the first night then again in the morning. I went down to get clean towels 3 times and finally was told they would not be available until after 5. When i came back that evening around 7 and stopped at the desk and asked for clean towels to get through the evening and morning. The guy was rude and told me housekeeping was done on the 3rd day. I was asking for clean towels which has never been problem before. The service has gone down hill in the past year.

We have stayed here multiple times and will continue to come back. Jessica was amazing. The whole staff was amazing. See you soon!

My check-in was fine with a very caring employee. She gave me a choice of handicap accessible room. I chose the closer room as I walk with a cane. She even explained the easier way for me to get to my room. Upon entering my room, it appeared clean, but I noticed the floor to be a bit slippery. I was standing still but my feet & cane were sliding apart.I noticed there was a dehumidifier with a red blinking light. My husband emptied the water. The unit immediately began to run at top speed. We thought maybe the issue with my feet was excess moister in the room, thinking it would be better with the dehumidifier working.The bathroom appeared clean at first glance, but the shower? The grout on the tile floor appeared to be black grout, but when stepped on, found it also black with slimmy mold. We had to use a wash cloth to wipe it down so as to not slip. The drain was not handle adequate for water flow. the bathroom floor became wet from the shower out to the toilet with a quick shower. Next morning, the dehumidifier was full again, and had to empty it again. 2nd evening, after arriving back to the room, the same slipping. There was nothing on my shoes to cause this. At checkout another desk clerk ran out screaming at us to turn in our keys as my husband loaded the car. I was on my way to the desk at the time. I meantioned to him about the floor and shower,being a saftey hazzard. He said, "Nothing they could do for me!" Next year, I will book elsewhere.

The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff always had a smile and greater my wife and I when ever we walked in. The hotel is conveniently located near many dining options and shopping. It’s also just a short drive to downtown Milford which we found very charming. Not far from local beaches and nature trails which we enjoyed both!

We stopped for just the night on our travel. Location was perfect, very easy to get to from the highway. Close to many meal choices. Staff at checkin were nice. Bed was comfortable and we slept well.

I was very hesitant to book this hotel from the negative comments. But, I booked a room and I have to say.... The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, parking was fine. And very close to the DE turf sports complex which was VERY CONVENIENT. I actually just booked a room for my son's next tournament in the fall.

Great property when playing at DE Turf Fields.

Property serves it purpose for athletic event needs. Nothing special. Close to fields. We try to stay there when traveling for sports located nicely to amenities and fields

Does the job, clean rooms, good location, etc. No frills and the breakfast is very basic. We were happy with the experience.

Nice to have a chair, desk, microwave, refrigerator, and coffee pot in the room. Would be nice to have an ice machine on the 2nd floor. Waffles were good, the rest of the breakfast was fair. The hotel area was convenient.

Needs upkeep.Dripping tub, not functioning light in bathroom, grey washcloth. Way overpriced! Limited cold breakfast.

Room was clean. Breakfast ended at 9:30 on Sat/Sun - which was too early. Housekeeping knocked on door at 9:00 am on day of checkout which was ridiculously early.
