Brentwood Inn Clinton

I was on a cross-country drive and needed a place to stay for the night that would be safe, inexpensive, and minimally comfortable. This property fit all three of these requirements. On the plus side, the rate was very low, and the free breakfast was perfectly fine. However, the property is in serious need of updating and fixing. The air conditioning did not work properly, nor did one of the lamps in the room. It appeared as though the owners were trying to keep the place clean, but it is just kind of worn out. There was a urine-like odor at one point in the hallway. The front desk staff were pleasant both at check in and check out. It was worth the bargain rate I paid, but I would not recommend it for anything but a very basic overnight stay. I would not stay there with my family

The upkeep of this hotel does not seem to be the best. When we arrived, we had to take the stairs due to the elevator being broken so it was burdensome unloading our vehicle for the night. Once we got to our floor the hallway was easily over 100 degrees and the room was not much better. The a/c ran all night while I sweated all night. By far my worst hotel stay ever.

There was no A/C within the building, just in the rooms. The back door was left open during the day until late night, leaving the possibility of unauthorized entry. The TV didn't work in our room, but did in our friend's. The bathroom was small and the tub was concave on the bottom with no anti-slip mat or texture making falling a possibility. The free breakfast was practically non-existent unless you ate cereal (Fruit Loops only), waffles, or muffins. The staff was friendly, but not that helpful. The place is OK for the price we paid.

Econolodge Clinton OK Room 115 3/13/24 Young female at front desk was very organized and had my reservation information printed and ready along with key cards before I arrived. Post-it not with room number and important info. Room had only 1 towel, no coffee cups or creamers etc. TV remote wouldn't turn off TV or control sound. Light next to bed didn't work. Outlets next to sink would only hold in coffee pot three prong. It would not hold in hair dryer plug. Shower curtain had a hole in it so the toliet and floor got wet. Toilet very small and low to floor and very loud. House keeping tried to walk in at 945am without knocking, then again at 1030am with barely a knock. Check out was at 11am. No door Hanger to notify housekeeping to do not disturb. Evening lady was helpful and found more towels and tried to switch the room but this room was cleaner than second option. Breakfast, I arrived at 745am. Breakfast is from 630-9am. Morning guy was on his phone, breakfast foods were empty, such a milk, yogurt, no fruit. Coffee ern (1 only) half full. Waffles, bagels, bread available. Also cereal. An older gentleman was getting cereal and there wasn't much milk left. I asked morning guy. He ran over filled the milk and yogurt and then went back to his cell phone. He left the large back room frig open. I brought my food to my room and came back for a little coffee and closed the frig that was still open. Check out was fine, handed in the keys and said thank you.

It was a nice location. It did worry me that the staff know that back door was set to be a jar. Safety issue to me.

This was a great place to stay for our needs, which was just a place to sleep during a 2 day road trip. The lobby was nice and it appeared to have a nice breakfast area (we left before service), but the rest of the hotel was more outdated. However, it met our needs just fine. We were a little concerned that there were railroad track right by the hotel, however, we never heard a train. Overall, it was a good place to stay as a layover.

Air conditioning was not working in hallways. Air conditioner in room was. It turned on in room before arriving it had been close to 100 that day. Elevator was broken our rooms were on the 3rd floor. Our smoke detector in our room was covered with a plastic bag we booked 2 rooms the other room was the same way with the air conditioning and their smoke detector was taken down completely. When you pull into the property you had to cross train tracks and the weeds were so overgrown on both sides you couldn’t see around them to even see the property. The girl that checked us in was very friendly but was dressed unprofessional and a young man sitting behind the counter with his head down most of the time on his cell phone. It was late we needed a place to sleep and unfortunately this place had the better reviews of the other hotels in the areas so we stayed.

Rooms seem like they have been recently remodeled, with new flooring and furniture. Beds were comfortable, and the rooms were quiet. Breakfast was simple but good, with waffles, yogurts, cereal, and pastries. Front desk lady in the morning was very nice. Fitness center was there, but we could not get in. Overall definitely exceeded my expectations from the look of the hotel on the outside and the low price and would recommend.

The room reeked of cigarette smoke and body odor. The desk clear tried to charge $25 each for my 2 dogs the app said it was $10 each. The app said the name was Brentwood Inn but it was actually Econo Lodge.

While the staff were both pleasant, a.m. and p.m. The room was dirty, had big black crickets, stains that looked like blood on the comforter and a used bottle of complimentary shampoo. The laundry facility was dirty, machine was dirty with old clothes in it and the dryer filed with lint. Also the side door didn’t open with key, attendant said the battery was dead.

Run down property, not very clean..just the basics. Not to be recommended.

Lovely staff, nice clean hotel and good breakfast.

We found a bedbug in the bed when we woke up. Windows in hallway were left open at night and all sorts of bugs in the hallway.

We checked in at 1:45 am and just wanted a place to sleep before continuing our journey. The first room we were given had overturned mattresses and spray cans everywhere. The 2nd room the air conditioner didn’t work. The 3rd time the keys wouldn’t work. The front desk was not friendly at all and didn’t even apologize. We left and requested a refund and that I s now ongoing. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

The hotel was nice. The room was spacious with a very comfortable king bed. Nice shower. We will stay again when you come through again.

This is a great inexpensive place to stay. It was quiet, the AC worked great, felt safe, clean linens. Hard surface floors left me feeling safe I wouldn't have to worry about bed bugs. Property is dated, but the bed was firm (as I like) and it was convenient. Staff was really nice.

This is a very quiet location considering it’s right on I 40. Very nice front desk night person named Damien and very nice front desk morning person named Blanca. They really made the stay lovely. It is an older hotel but they have kept it up very well considering it’s age.

It was ok, breakfast sucked, and the owner tried to make me double charge for my room I got on this app, till I said i would call the cops if they kicked me out of a room I already prepaid for online...

Had to stay here while traveling on my motorcycle due to winter storm. They let me check in hours early and as well as check out late without extra fees

Excellent service! Very friendly, helpful, & accomodating staff. Its an older hotel so there's a bit of a "cheaper" ambience tovthe facilities. The room was clean & comfortable, although not too roomy. Breakfast was simple. Fresh waffles frim a self-serve waffle iron, bagels & bread with a toaster available, cereal & milk, yogurt, apple juice or coffee to drink. The breakfast staff was very friendly & houskeeping was very accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel for travelers on a budget.

I made a reservation for brentwood, drove up and down the road looking for it. The sign says encono lodge, not brentwood. when i got to the property the doors were locked, and nobody answered the phone. I tried for 2 hours to check in and nobody, nothing. It was 17 degrees outside, spent all my money on the reservation, ended up sleeping in my jeep at a truck stop. Tried to get in touch with the motel today, nothing. Trying still to get refunded, nothing so far. If ypur not going to be open for people to check in, you shouldn't advertise on hotels.com or other sites. False advertisement...

We enjoyed our stay, we had extremely kind and friendly staff take care of us the entire stay. Miss Maria was very kind especially. She gave me grandma vibes that was so kind and warm and welcoming. Anytime we needed something, weather it was extra towels, trash bags or whatever they accommodated.

Our tv was not working and the staff came quickly and got it fixed. Room and beds were clean and comfortable.

Owner is amazing !!! Recommend and we will stay her again !

We pulled up to the property and the parking lot was empty except for a group of men wandering around the motel. There was a Mexican flag hanging from the guest room window in the center of the hotel. I walked to the lobby which was empty and turned around and walked out. Frankly I was afraid to stay there. We left and did not stay the night. Had to find another hotel.

At $47/night, I was not surprised at the condition of this very old and rundown facility. The two ladies with whom I interacted were very friendly, polite and helpful. Further, it is located in a rather desolate area, not near any decent eateries that I could find close by. Not even a McD’s or a BK.

Affordable, continental breakfast convenient (did run out of items), clean, quiet, staff, particularly Maria, went beyond to accomodate Needs & request, that alone will bring us back.
