Hampton Inn Lexington/Georgetown

Very friendly staff, quick check-in, pool very clean with plenty towels and tables. Hotel is near several restaurants and shopping it also conveniently located just of I64. We would stay here again

We arrived late into our reservation. The hotel staff were friendly and very welcoming. Breakfast had many options suitable for many diets. Best part, the pool opened early and our kids were THRILLED. PS, the fitness center is 5 star for a hotel gym. There are several cardio machines and equipment for CrossFit and other workouts with two racks of free weights. Everyone in our party found something to be excited about.

Room was clean, comfy beds (pillows too soft, though). Parking felt safe. Friendly service. Breakfast area was clean, food fresh and hot with a great variety.

Most of the parking lot was closed due to seal coating of the asphalt. No parking available when I arrived. Very poor planning by the management. I didn’t appreciate the inconvenience.

Enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Walked to steak house nearby for dinner. Room card didn't work first try and night desk staff a bit sullen. Overall good hotel.

My only complaint is that the hotel is in the middle of a renovation and we were not aware when we booked it, Half the parking lot was filled with workshops for the contractors and furniture and plumbing fixtures that had been removed. Foyer and breakfast room were under construction.

Convenient to the Lexington Horse Park, carpets are dull and outdated, one working ice machine for the entire building with no signage as to where that one machine is located.

Standard Hampton experience, always great. Check-in was easy and staff were courteous and helpful. Price was lower than expected, but this is because the property is currently under renovation. That didn't bother us but be aware that this location is out dated and under construction while still being open. Pool and pool area were large and clean and we enjoyed a quick swim. Breakfast met our expectations and the free bottles of water at the check in counter were appreciated.

DO NOT Stay. Awful hotel. Paid $145 for the night, but isn’t worth more than $50 for the night. Lobby is under construction, wallpaper peeling in the room, dirty hands prints all over the lamp shade, dirty bathtub and broken tiles in the bathroom. Absolutely disgusting.

When we entered the room, I immediately felt like we had just rented at a 1 ⭐️ motel, highly over paying. This room was no different than an Economy Inn. Second floor smelled like raw sewage. Shortly after, I notice a large soiled spot on a bench in our room. I immediately went down to notify the clerk. The young man said he was notifihouse keeping right away. My son went into the swimming area, we were there about 20 minutes. After, we returned to our room. -There was still a bench, I assumed they had switched them out. Nope! I went into the bathroom, my son changing had just put dry underwear on, sat down on the bench to put pajamas on, SITTING IN THE SOILED SPOT. I called the front desk explaining my son is freaked out. He thinks he has sit in someone else’s bodily fluids! I ask if there was something he could do? Clerk said he reached out to housekeeping but there wasn’t anything. I told him I would remove it myself, where did he want it? The clerk agreed to come meet me in the hall to get foul, soiled bench. At this point, my son was in panic. He wanted out of this room and away from this hotel. He wanted to was his body, to remove someone else’s “stuff” from his body. WE LEFT! I returned after I got my son adjusted elsewhere. A different clerk was working. She explained to me, “the previous owner let this place go to sh!t, but they are working to remodel everything as quick as possible!” The first clerk disclosed he had complaints of the 3rd floor smelling too.

Helpful staff and clean room with good bed

Hotel has major construction going on. Construction dust everywhere, including the check in counter and breakfast tables. Stayed for 5 days. Asked for cleaning to come in. They assured me they came in every other day. Nobody came in during 5 days, even after asking. Garbage overflowing everywhere. Construction dust all over the carpets. No one has cleaned or vacuumed in days and this isn't a cheap hotel.

Very clean quite comfortable. I’ve had similar experiences every time that I book a stay in no matter what city or state. Breakfast is a treat to enjoy.

We got in around 10p after a long, hot week, spent all day outside at the Kentucky Horse Park (90 degrees +). We looked forward to a cool room and a nice shower. Unfortunately, the air conditioner wasn't keeping up. No thermostat in the room, but felt like it was close to 80 in the room. Thought a cold shower might help while air conditioner was cooling room down, only to find no shower gel in the shower.... We gave the room an hour to cool down, but it didn't much at all. At that point, we had showered, opened suitcases, etc. We decided to just suck it up and sleep in the warmth. It wasn't worth moving rooms or bringing our concern to staff that late at night. All staff, during check in and check out were very kind and hotel was clean. Breakfast was okay as well.

Construction going on. EXTREMELY NOICY. Had to move To different floor. Front desk did know when workers start or finish for the day. Answer was “I don’t know I work afternoon”… Guest should know about renovations when they check in. Front desk poorly run by young man. Not happy with visit..

Room seems a little run down. Smelled like food. One pillow smelled of perspiration. There was a small loose piece of baseboard lying on the florr. Staff was helpful and friendly. TV channels were limited. Wifi was a good but a little confusing to access.

Hotel is still under renovations. Why did Expedia not advertise this? We booked a King room but didn’t get that. Person at front desk had to be called out of the back room. He was eating licorice while checking us on. He was very unprofessional and ill mannered.

Close, clean, and convenient

Staff was great but property was in need of a few upgrades. Some of the furniture was dated, tub and sink had slow drains and refrigerator was leaking on the floor. Was a great location and easy to get to.

It's was pretty good. We didn't stay that long but the room was good, it could have been cleaner. But other than that it was good. We was in town for my grandsons dirtbike riding at the horse arena. The breakfast was okay, the juice dispenser was broken and they didn't really have much stocked up. The lady at the front desk was very nice tho.

The staff were nice. However, the breakfast bar had ants all over things that I watched an employee look over and do nothing about. The shower leaked profusely. The shower head was clogged and wouldn’t spray well. The vent fan for the bathroom didn’t work which meant all the moisture from taking a shower just spills out into the room.

This property is being renovated. which was very obvious when you walk through the front doors. Not mentioned at the time of booking through Expedia. Our room was second floor because 1,3rd&4th floors were under constuction. 1st floor sewer smell very obious. Breakfast was abreiveated to say the least. Breakfast with sewer smell not very appealing.
