Did not stay. Carpets had been cleaned and though I applaud the maintenance the staff should have taken both of the rooms assigned to us out of use. Room 1 had a strong urine odor which the front desk person acknowledged and stated “ it happens” and was not concerned . Room 2 still had wet carpets and we not slipped on the tile in the bathroom as our shoes had become wet. Checked out - no one seemed to care !

This is not my first stay at the Hampton Inn so I knew what to expect. I did have some small ants in our room running on top of the air conditioner unit which was an odd to me but I did not complain about it. However the pool is the reason we went for my son to swim and it was very low. Like missing 1 foot of water. This was very odd to us but he swam and it did the trick for him. Later to find out it was leaking and they didnt seem to know why. They closed the pool the rest of the night and as far as I know it was still closed when we left. If the pool was closed when I arrived I would have had one MAD child but it seemed to work out for me. Staff is excellent as always.

The room was clean. The walls are paper thin. The entire place was noisy. I also was not expecting the lawn to be mowed and shrubs being trimmed at 830 on a Sunday morning.
