At check in, we were not informed that the pool was closed. Did not find out until we saw the sign on the pool. Front desk told us when we called that it was due to a recent storm, which had happened 2 days earlier. They acted like it was no big deal. We called other local facilities, who said their pools were fine. We told the front desk we'd be checking out the next day. Next morning, pool was still closed, and when asked all anyone could say was pool is going to open at 12.Like no one had any customer service skills.

We liked the location of the hotel. It is a short drive to Isle of Palms beach, Ft. Sumpter, historic Mt. Pleasant and historic Charleston. Target is right next door as well as small shops and coffee shops. There is a walking path around the lake near the condos next door . The courtyard by the pool is shaded. The hotel and our room were clean and the staff , very helpful, friendly and efficient. We had a few minor issues but management quickly fixed our concerns. The hot breakfast and the managers Wednesday night reception were a huge plus. The main parking lot is small but there is additional parking next door the hotel uses.

I loved the location and convenience of this hotel. I actually thoroughly enjoyed staying there and would again, but the swimming pool situation was terrible. The pool was filthy and crowded and utter chaos. Even when the pool was empty and not crowded, it was still filthy. I didn’t get to enjoy the pool and it was a deciding factor for booking the hotel. I would give 5 stars if not for this reason. Excellent stay otherwise and the hotel staff are great!

We stayed a total of two nights. Both nights there was no hot water available when showering. The second night we reported the problem to management but was told they had received no other complaints and that the persons who could check on it were gone for the day. We also found mold under the toilet rim that had been there for some time. We googled the reviews and found that the hot water issue had been reported consecutively for the past several years. Although convenient and affordable, these issues were a deal breaker. Will not return to this property in the future. Cold showers are brutal.

We were told they were remodeling (moving furniture) shouldn’t bother us. It was like a jackhammer non stop 9-4 couldn’t utilize the hotel during those hours too loud for tv, sleeping, reading… it was ridiculous that it took them so long to remove tile from bathrooms out of the six days we were there it sounded like they moved down one room.

This is my 4th time staying at this hotel. It seems like the property is just going downhill each year. I definitely won’t be back after this trip. Last year the issue was I booked a king size bed for a higher rate when booking but was given a queen size bed for the price of a king. My partner’s hit his foot on the metal rails due to the mattress being too small for the rails when we told front desk about the issue nothing was done just an ok we will look at it statement... This year there was no hot water. We called down to the front desk twice and we got told to run the bathroom sink water and shower at the same time and it would heat up! Ummmm huh? It took hours for house keeping to bring us new towels and wash cloths. The on site laundry room only had one washer that was supposed to be functional but it wasn’t. What a surprise. It didn’t wash the clothes or drain properly. When we told front desk there was nothing said just an ok. They offered nothing to help solve the issue or accommodate us for the trouble. At breakfast the water had rust and dirt at the bottom of it. For almost $300 a night I expected much more. I only had a two night stay so my family just tried to make the most of it. I don’t recommend anyone staying here. There was also an incident where the fire alarm went off but it wasn’t very audible until we opened the door. It ended up being nothing serious but we didn’t know until going down to the lobby.

The staff was excellent! We loved the breakfasts and the social night! Had some very loud continual noises in room 102. Also had several outlets without power. I also felt bad for the staff who had to deal with no air air-conditioning in the lobby area.

My son woke up with a cockroach crawling on him in bed. There was another next to our suitcase in the morning and a baby cockroach on our hotel room door. I told the staff and asked for come type of compensation but they could have cared less so I changed hotels mid weekend even though I still paid for the last night at your hotel. It was worth it!!! Yuck.

There was a dirty washcloth left in the shower. Floors were dirty. Trash was never gathered during our stay and we did not leave a sign on our door. We originally booked a double queen but was informed one was not available when we arrived so was put in a king suite and told we would be moved the next day which never happened even after requesting and reminding the next day. After waiting a while we were hungry and tired and decided to just stay in the room given. To late in the day and with a dog and not eating we needed to relax and not have to worry about changing rooms. We were on vacation, we wanted to enjoy our time, make the most of our time. Breakfast was great. Staff was courteous. I just wish they would have been more helpful. I feel like I was charged for the double queen. I was told I would be compensated for the crappy room and lack of service but so far I haven’t been. Overall it would be a lovely place to stay that is close to the beach for a family with animals. I wanted a getaway with my aging dog that had never been to the beach. I was disappointed. I hope others have a better experience.

The property needs to be renovated. Our room had mold in the ceiling. The couch and chairs were heavily stained. Our bedsheets were also stained. The shower curtain was pink at the bottom from lack of cleaning/ changing. 2 family members had big bite marks on them.

Although it was clean and convenient, the room smelled like mildew or mold. We asked for a different room and it had the same smell. Someone with sensitive breathing or allergies could not have stayed in our room. I understand they are going through a remodel in 2024. They had also recently experienced flooding, so we wanted to show grace there, but then we would’ve expected to be on an upper floor. If they remodel and the smell goes away, we would stay again. Such a convenient drive to the beach!

If I could give this place a ZERO I would! We came for my child’s birthday. We found a Bed Bugs in the bed! It was crawling on the pillow! I called the front desk and they moved us to another room. Once we got to that room, I ended up killing 3 spiders over a 3 hr time frame! The next day I saw another type of bug I’m not sure what it was but we ended up leaving a day early because I was to afraid of my immunocompromised 2 year old being bit by something and us landing a hospital admission! I was never offered a refund or complimentary night. NOTHING. Everytime I asked to speak to management I was told to “come back” they weren’t available. I will never bring my familyback here. Not to mention, they had another family in the bed bug room not even 14 hours after moving us out! Absolutely horrible experience .

Had to switch rooms after waking up in morning to roaches running on the kitchen counters. On the way to moving to new room saw a roach in the hallway about four rooms away. Manager didn't seem to care and pretty much dismissed our concerns. She said nothing to us on our checkout and when I filled out the survey from them all I got was a half hearted apology and hope to see you again. Don't think so.

Our room was not ready when we arrived and we arrived 2 hours after check in time. When we got into the room it was not clean. It looked like all that was done was emptied trash and changed linens. There were stains on the bathroom floor that were not scrubbed around toilet and the paper was not refilled. We found a safety pin left behind that our toddler could have found if we had not found it first. There were no towels in the room when we arrived. Asked at the desk about it and was informed that none were available and they would bring some up. When we got towels they gave us 3 for a family of 5. This was a reoccurring issue during our stay. We wanted to use the guest laundry but was informed that it was out of order. Also saw an uncovered power outlet that thankfully was behind the curtain in the living space. When we talked to management at the hotel the reason they gave us was staffing issues. I understand this but it would have been nice to know this when we arrived that inadequate staff could impact services. We sent an email to the GM of the hotel but never received a response.
Our room was not ready when we arrived and we arrived 2 hours after check in time. When we got into the room it was not clean. It looked like all that was done was emptied trash and changed linens. There were stains on the bathroom floor that were not scrubbed around toilet and the paper was not refilled. We found a safety pin left behind that our toddler could have found if we had not found it first. There were no towels in the room when we arrived. Asked at the desk about it and was informed that none were available and they would bring some up. When we got towels they gave us 3 for a family of 5. This was a reoccurring issue during our stay. We wanted to use the guest laundry but was informed that it was out of order. Also saw an uncovered power outlet that thankfully was behind the curtain in the living space. If I could give this place a ZERO I would! We came for my daughter’s 7th birthday. We found a Bed Bugs in the bed! It was crawling on the pillow! I called the front desk and they moved us to another room. Once we got to that room, I ended up killing 3 spiders over a 3 hr time frame! The next day I saw another type of bug I’m not sure what it was but we ended up leaving a day early because I was to afraid of my immunocompromised 2 year old being bit by something and us landing a hospital admission! I was never offered a refund or complimentary night. NOTHING. Everytime I asked to speak to management I was told to “come back” they weren’t available. I will never bring my family back here. Not to mention, they had another family in the bed bug room not even 14 hours after moving us out! Absolutely disgusting.

Stayed here for 2 nights in June 2025. Rooms were spacious and very clean. The property looks to be recently updated and the grounds are well maintained. Excellent property & staff. But a few issues w/the room. There definitely needs to be better, brighter lighting in the kitchen area!!! The room in general needs better/brighter lighting. The sofa & ottoman were both very old & worn. Sofa was saggy in the middle. But the room & common areas smelled very clean & fresh!!! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! Common ares & outside of hotel were beautifully decorated, clean & well maintained. Thank you for a great stay!

Staff was great, very friendly. Landscaping and the outside areas of the property were very nice and landscaping was well maintained. The inside of the room was clean but could use some updates. The carpet in our room was stained in several places and the furniture was very worn.

The place was in a perfect spot. Target and some bars and restaurants are nearby. Our room was newly renovated so it was so clean. Breakfast was good as well, daily eggs and different meats everyday. Susan, who checked us in, was so friendly and helpful. Though, the pillows were old and flat, and beddings were worn out but our 5-night stay was still great. Would definitely come back.

The staff was excellent! We loved the breakfasts and the social night! Had some very loud continual noises in room 102. Also had several outlets without power. I also felt bad for the staff who had to deal with no air air-conditioning in the lobby area.

Great property and greater staff. Felt very welcome and look fwd to visiting again. Kudos to Kathy (sp), Davian and the rest of your team for their professionalism and kindness. Easy check in and when we decided to stay an extra day, Kathy was very helpful in getting us situated for and extra night in a nearby room (as ours was booked for the additional night). Keep up the great work!

I reserved a room for four nights five days for my sons baseball tournament. My AC stopped working, I reported it to the front desk and she said I have nothing to change you to I’m full. I asked for the manager and they said Monday. I emailed Monday and by Thursday the response I got was “ you booked thru Expedia, there’s nothing we can do” I was shocked because even though I understand the 3rd party policy, My AC stopped working at their facility in room 102. Not in Expedia’s hotel it’s a Hilton hotel brand. I am highly disappointed on the management’s response and actions. Nothing was done about it. Zero Stars terrible customer service.

Two comment about front desk: 1)I already mentioned on my check in comments that it was slow because there was only one person at desk and people ahead of us apparently had a problem that required time so our check in was slower than normal 2)At check out today I tried to check out early to avoid any delay but was told that once I checked out I could not get back in my room. I have done a lot ot travelling worldwide in my life and this is the first time this has happened. If this is so,I think your system is quite antiquated. 3) Breakfast, yesterday there were no forks,knives available and regular coffee pot was empty.(It was replaced promptly) However today regular pot was empty again Someone needs to be more active checking that. Also I had to return a coffee cup that was not clean.

While the room served its purpose well and the cleaning staff was very friendly, we unfortunately ran into some issues. When requesting supplies the staff was always on their phones when we answered the door. Many of the switches in our room did not work and when checking in the clerk made a sexual joke to me.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was amazing from the time we checked in Thursday evening at 2330 . The gentleman that check is in was very friendly and kind. The breakfast staff was absolutely amazing and so helpful with all the guest needs. This was such a great location as well. We will definitely be back.

We liked the location of the hotel. It is a short drive to Isle of Palms beach, Ft. Sumpter, historic Mt. Pleasant and historic Charleston. Target is right next door as well as small shops and coffee shops. There is a walking path around the lake near the condos next door . The courtyard by the pool is shaded. The hotel and our room were clean and the staff , very helpful, friendly and efficient. We had a few minor issues but management quickly fixed our concerns. The hot breakfast and the managers Wednesday night reception were a huge plus. The main parking lot is small but there is additional parking next door the hotel uses.

So close to the beach and you don't have to drive anywhere to eat if you don't feel like dealing. Good dining options near. The breakfast was decent, but I would suggest scrambling real fresh eggs instead of the strange plastic like eggs that were on the menu. Not edible - sorry. Otherwise a good value for the money in general.

Honestly, I was very disappointed. Parking is a big concern right off the bat. I understand not really much you can do about it. However, the fold out couch bedding had not been changed. The sink in the bathroom was clogged and stopped up. Also, in the bathroom above the shower had mold all over the ceiling. Room service never came until the day we were going to leave. I had to go and ask for more towels. Sadly, trash was piling up all over the place in the room. Granted I get it. You're not paying for Trump Plaza. However, you can make even a shack clean. And certainly try to do a better job at meeting people's expectations. And rather than asking people to write reviews that have stayed here. Maybe the CEOs or upper management should visit the properties more often. And I would strongly suggest coming unannounced. If I was the property manager? I would certainly come in and clean house. And I don't just mean the cleaning of the hotel. I would give people an ultimatum about how much they need a job or not? A company is only as good as the crew running it.
