Fairfield Inn Kansas City Downtown/Union Hill

Breakfast was good, but doesn't start until 7 AM on Saturday; we had to leave very soon after to make our train out of town. Wish we could have started breakfast earlier.

A nice modern hotel with a decent room, breakfast and parking in a quiet part of town. I have stayed before and will stay again. Gets pricey on weekends.

The attitude was not good of the front desk person

Be prepared to pay a $20 parking fee that they add when you check out. Your not informed about this during check-in. I was told that there was a sign in the parking lot notifying me of this fee. I saw the sign but thought that it meant if you weren't a hotel guest that I would be charged. It was very misleading and I would have liked to have been informed at check in. The pool was very small and the pics on the website made it look much bigger than it really was. The beds were very firm and uncomfortable. Breakfast was good but get there early so you can get some food.
