Check-in was a jankedy. Signed a blank keypad and received no receipt or other means of knowing what I have been charged. The room was decently furnished and with clean bedding and linens. The wall heater smelled like human urine when first turned, but, seemed to lessen as it ran longer. The television does not work. There was a 10 inch place between the commode and tub where the paint and wall covering had rotted away, the tissue holder was rusted and corroded, the sink drain has no pop-up mechanism making it difficult to remove the dirty water. The lights are on motion sensor switches and go out after about 30 seconds making it difficult to shave, etc. Parking is horrendous and not sufficient for the property. You must squeeze the front of your vehicle into shrubs cut out to fit against, and scratch your car. Housekeeping stole my basket of snacks and drinks. No desk service available at night or early morning.

When I got there, there was no parking. Room was dirty and smelled like cigarettes. Shower had hair on the walls. Floors were stained and dirty. The upstairs people were so noisy and the walls are paper thin so you can hear everything. Will not be coming back here ever!

I booked this hotel for two nights as I had a medical visit to Stanford. I have an energy limiting disability, and spent three days, minus my hospital visit sleeping in the room. The room was very comfortable. The cleanliness exceeded my expectations! The bed was very comfortable, and there was plenty of hot water. The shower pressure was fantastic, and the toiletries were mid-range. The facilities were a bit dated. There were tears in the wall paper, holes in the wall, peeling on the doors, and the cover to the A/C unit was broken. These cosmetic issues were minor, and did not compare to the comfort and cleanliness of the room. The walls are a bit thin, and I could hear the people in the next room on occasion (they had a screaming child), but the hum of the A/C helped mask the ambient noise. Overall, this Inn is a treasure for the price. Very pleased with my stay, and I will stay here again.

The place is quite old, and the room had an odd smell. The furniture, like the chair, was clearly second-hand. My biggest concern was that the heater/AC wasn’t working — it was chilly, and the AC was basically just a fan. The strange odor in the room made things even more uncomfortable.

The only bad issue i experienced was working the shower and adjusting the water temperature. It was so difficult that it probably took me almost 10 minutes to adjust to a comfortable temperature.

The hotel was close to my destination but not near the freeway so it was very quiet. The room was clean and had been recently remodeled. The only issue was the truck outside the door backing up at 6 am. The beeping woke me up.

I suppose you get what you pay for. The rate was great, staff was nice, but the AC unit was incredibly loud and didnt work, walls were thin and everything smelled strongly of cleaning products.

The gentleman who checked me in took his time to be thorough. The property was very clean. The price was definitely worth it. I will be returning while I am there on work assignment. The staff I did see were very friendly and always smiling. It was very quiet which is nice because I work nights and I was able to get some refreshing sleep during the day. I cannot recommend this place enough. I booked it for the price but will return for all of the positive I mentioned above.

I was in the Bay for a week-long business trip and Discovery Inn fit my needs. It was a clean, secure place to sleep and shower, friendly and attentive staff. I didn't spend much more time than getting sleep and staying clean but I was happy with it. The microwave and small fridge were helpful as well. They reached out very shortly after my checkout that I had left a personal item behind. Because they were so prompt, I wasn't far away and was able to quickly double back and pick up my belongings. Thanks!

We had pay $30 cash extra for a ground floor unit although we had requested a ground unit when we made the reservation. The clerk wud not let us charge it on the card and insisted on cash… but the room as per our reservation was paid by card .. why Two systems… strange no receipt for the $30 cash …

I have stayed here about 10 times. The staff are awesome. They take pride in running a safe comfortable place. It is small but welcoming. I drove by this little place for years without a second thought. Now I want to stop by and just say hello, even if I am not staying. There are other places that look better, but not as comfortable or safe and friendly.

The wall heater smelled like human urine when first turned, but, seemed to lessen as it ran longer. The television does not work. There was a 10 inch place between the commode and tub where the paint and wall covering had rotted away, the tissue holder was rusted and corroded, the sink drain has no pop-up mechanism making it difficult to remove the dirty water. The lights are on motion sensor switches and go out after about 30 seconds making it difficult to shave, etc. Parking is horrendous and not sufficient for the property. You must squeeze the front of your vehicle into shrubs cut out to fit against, and scratch your car. Housekeeping stole my basket of snacks and drinks. No desk service available at night or early morning.

Location is excellent, stayed two separate times and the room is clean and comfortable. Jay and the staff are good people they make you feel like family. I selected this spot for my stay during the week when I want to rest from the commute.

The hotel was close to my destination but not near the freeway so it was very quiet. The room was clean and had been recently remodeled. The only issue was the truck outside the door backing up at 6 am. The beeping woke me up.

The room was EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN! SMELLED AMAZING! NOTHING IN THE CORNERS i.e. swept up trash crumbs left in the crevices. Check in was quick, simple and to the point. Parking is a little tight but more than enough for this cozy hide away. My room was replenished with all your toiletry and coffee needs. There was a Microwave and refrigerator. Desk and chair. Full cable. Wi-fi. Shower and tub. Air condition. Everything operating. Noise level was a 1. Food service providers will deliver to this humble chateau and, there are LOTS of other restaurants, eateries, Lot stops and more in either direction when you exit. I live on the road. Having a reliable place that's not home, free of pest, clean, decently price for the area is definitely GIVING rest and rejuvenate your energy abode I would mark as a go to again. I was really comfortable that I didn't want to leave back out for the night. I discovered I was in for the night. The bed was extremely comfortable. The grounds were immaculate. I'm glad i chose to stop by.

The staff were very kind and flexible. Room was super clean, spacious and modern. No breakfast or laundry but dunkin donuts or 7-11 were directly adjacent to the place. Overall a nice stay.

I like the upstairs jacuzzi suite because there is parking below the room, so there's no noise to or from above or below. Parking is a bit snug but you wont be far from your room no matter what. Its a very nice little hideaway and not at all ghetto despite its location. 711 next door. And other stores across the street. Youre just minutes from downtown and the freeways in either direction
