The one bedroom unit I booked had a well-equipped kitchen and lots of space - lounge seating for four, dining table for the same and a very large patio. The Grounds had just had a spring tidy and trim. Access from the Strand but my garden-view unit was to the rear and incredibly quiet. I was sad I only had one night.

Fabulous location, just opposite the rock pool and an easy walk to so many eateries along the strand. The staff were friendly. The bed was comfortable and the facilities were more than adequate for our week long stay.

Very large and clean two bedroom apartment right at the beach. Restaurants and rockpool at the doorstep. Comfortable beds and all amenities needed for a short or long stay, including a barbecue. Friendly staff and great outdoor areas. Definately recommend.

Very Affordable, cpacious 2 br apartment with ac in both bedrooms, overlooking the strand. Lovely area for walking or a swim in the rockpool or ocean.. which is across the road. Fully equipped for in house cooking if needed. Great communication. Odd street parking available outside your unit. Lovely outdoor seating area. We stayed here years ago and it has certainly improved with the upgrades. Thankyou CWA, for continuing to provide ovely affordable accommodation.

The property was right on the strand, spacious, clean and self-contained. The only negatives were that the toilet cistern leaked and the hot water was intermittent.

Looks clean but actually filthy. Dust everywhere, on screen doors, under bed, under couch. Floor wasnt mopped or swept/vaccuumed, our feet were dirty walking on the floor. Communication/customer service was poor. They dont even change the linen or blankets. Just remake the beds. 👀 Bathroom sliding door didnt have a guider to be able to lock the door without someone helping from the outside. Shower sliding door came off the hindges a few times during our stay.

Room was expectionally clean, especially since Covid it's been hard to find places that are keeping up with their standards. Rooms were a bit outdated but did not bother us as we loved the simple rooms with not much inside. Definitely will recommend to friends and family and we will be staying here again on our next travels to Townsville. Reception lady sorry I can't remember her name, she was lovely. Thank you

Older style town house with lack of sufficient insulation as the top level of town house was bery HOT at 10pm at night. Fans had been left on but felt like an oven. TV turned on but remote did not work. Could not change channel or turn volume up or down.

A beautiful large space. More room than the 2 of us needed - but very welcome. Sad we were moving through as we would have stayed here for a longer of period of time. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed. Quiet and dark rooms. Right across from the beach. Totally recommend : )

The place was fairly clean and spacious. Directly across from the rock pool which is great. No complaints except non existent staff during check in, so we had to wait a while for someone to respond to our repeated bell ringing. When they showed up there was no apology for having to wait in the heat for so long with a small child. I would recommend for the area and the full kitchen.

Very bad weather at the time so spent more than usual time in doors. Everything was clean and comfy and great nights sleep. Staff very good and understanding with the major weather event, they seemed prepared and willing to assist. Made sure we had the extra night we needed.

Very good location at the Strand, straight across from the patrolled beach. The front units are noisy with road noise as a lot of local hoons seem to go up and down the Strand at night in noisy cars. The back units are nice and quiet. Our main issue was the cleanliness. Our first night we discovered on waking a bed fill of bedbugs. There wasn't just a couple, it was infested and should have been picked up on in an area like this where they are common if proper procedures were in place before we had to go through that horrible experience. We were moved into 2 different units after that which we were thankful for, as Townsville was very full that weekend and it meant we still had somewhere to stay, it just meant not a relaxing 5 days as we had to shift units 2 further times and so had to be around in the middle of the day (when we had hoped to spend a whole day in Magnetic Island). If we hadn't had that unlucky experience I think we would have had a good stay as location was great, just it was better to be in the units as far back from the road noise as possible.

Very good location at the Strand, straight across from the patrolled beach. The front units are noisy with road noise as a lot of local hoons seem to go up and down the Strand at night in noisy cars. The back units are nice and quiet. Our main issue was the cleanliness. Our first night we discovered on waking a bed fill of bedbugs. There wasn't just a couple, it was infested and should have been picked up on in an area like this where they are common if proper procedures were in place before we had to go through that horrible experience. We were moved into 2 different units after that which we were thankful for, as Townsville was very full that weekend and it meant we still had somewhere to stay, it just meant not a relaxing 5 days as we had to shift units 2 further times and so had to be around in the middle of the day (when we had hoped to spend a whole day in Magnetic Island).
