On our first night there, we went to Brewskis to have a bloody Mary, only to find out they had no bloody Mary mix left, on the last night we were there, we heard someone trying to use a key card to get into our room, we looked through the peep hole and saw 2 girls, we assumed they were drunk and just got the wrong room, a little bit later, our door opened up, thank God I had the slide latch closed or they would have been in our room, the two girls insisted our room was their room, we told them they got the wrong room as we were there the last two nights, come to find out, those girls went to front desk to report their key card wasn'working so the staff gave them a new key card to our room without questioning their ID, my husband immediately called front desk to complain and didn't even get an apology, my husband asked them what if we we weren't there, a couple of strangers could have entered our room and stole all of our stuff or what if I didn't have latch key closed and we were asleep or naked and complete strangers walk into our room? We actually had to tell the staff to give us a new room key as these people still could get access to our room, the manager and corporate were no help, I am traumatized as what could have happened, this was a breach of se curity and they only offered us 113.00 off our stay, it is protocol in all hotels before you give anyone a new key card to check their ID,I'm still having nightmares about this & the fact we weren't taken seriously

This was our third time staying here and we will be back since our daughter attends Winona State University. Friendly staff, rooms were clean and they have nice amenities. We really like the restaurant attached as well.
