Larkspur Landing Extended Stay Suites St. Louis Riverport- Airport West

Hi everything was great, except it wasn’t disclosed that the pool was under construction.

Pool was filthy. Absolutely the worst I have ever seen. The water was dirty and smelled horrible. Also not much for breakfast was available. No batter for waffles. No eggs. No sausage. They had an area for muffins and juice but it was empty. Ate an Apple and the kid ate a bowl of cereal with 2% skim milk, since that was all that was available.

One front desk worker very overwhelmed. Walls in hallways are scratched up, outlets exposed, broken closets, dirty bathrooms, leaking faucets, hairy bed linens, broken air units, exposed wires, pull out bed no linens, pool shutdown, very little water, tv with no remote. We came here for the indoor pool and it was not even open. Very disappointing!! I will not stay here ever again. I will request a full refund for the inconvenience. We travel from another state to surprise my son in college and this ruined everything. Hotel needs a lot of updating, more staff, help with the cleanliness. I don’t recommend this hotel for anyone. I have pictures to prove everything I’ve written above. Oh I forgot to mention the back entrance door is broken so anyone can access the hotel whether you have a key or not. That is violating every paying customers SAFETY. I will make sure everyone involved with the whole process is notified until something is done. That is truly a lawsuit. This hotel has so many code violations and they should not be open for business.

My AC was broken and they did not offer to change me rooms all the doors were locked you couldn't get into the pool you couldn't get into my room I couldn't get into the outside door but the hotel staff key worked for the doors but the customers did not

Several issues. Only made complaint about major issue that our lock broke and it locked us out. This lead to a very late night of us waiting as they worked to fix the door. They did offer another room but couldn’t guarantee we could get in first thing in the morning which we had an early time we had to be at an event for. Everything including car keys was locked in the room. Ceiling fan smoked when on and the ac in the living room was making a hot burning smell if it was turned on. Elevators breaking down. Pool shut down. External door locks to polarizing lot stopped working because of the rain (was told by staff this is why) leading to being locked out when I was loading my car and was forced to go to front door to get in which is a very long walk for loading items. You get what you pay for, but honestly these problems were probably due to the age of the hotel, the bed was super comfortable, loved the kitchen space and living room being separated by a door to the bedroom and that the bathroom sink is not with the shower and tub, Had high hopes as it initially appears very nice. Staff were extremely nice and helpful though!!! They deserve praise as it felt they were short staffed and they were constantly helping people. The building is a very long building so they had to run all over.

Looked run down. Side door lock was broken. Computers were offline when we checked in at 11:30 pm, check-in took 30 minutes. Front desk person was uncommunicative. Holes in walls. Bed linens were dirty. Not Hilton Quality. Not even Paris.

Property is clean and nice but there are bed bugs. I stayed in July and contacted them about the issue and they said pest control did not find any so I decided to try again in August since I travel here for business a lot and once again had the same issue. Mann’s

My girlscout troop and I stayed here for 1 night. The room we were given was disgusting food on the floor and couch. Shower was not clean. Items left in the freezer from previous guest. Water in the dishwasher, chewed gum on the ac unit. Staff was amazing with giving us a. New room. But the door was open when we went to it there was no soap or toilet paper or extra bedding. Phones dont work. Staff was great to provide missing items.

Stagnant standing water in the dishwasher, someones else's clothes in drawers, old confetti in the pull out sofa bed & moldy/ dirty toilet lid.

This was a quick stop on my trip from the West back to the East. I booked the hotel after reading the reviews which were all excellent. The hotel is conveniently located right off I-70, which is great. It is also located near the airport and there is a gas station 2 min from the hotel. Realistically, the hotel is pretty dated and would benefit from an update/renovation. My room was prepaid, so the check in was pretty easy. My room was a little dirty but the bed was recently made and the sheets were clean. There were several countertops in the room that were not cleaned and had stains from the previous tenant. Other than that, it's a very generous sized room and good for a one night stay.

We got to our room and immediately had to leave for a concert we were in town for. When we got back it was late so we didn’t really inspect anything until I woke up because the sheet on the bed rolled up onto me. I got up to fix it and it was so disgusting. Blood stains and pee stains all over the fitted sheet under the sheet i was laying on. Then i looked around the room. Food from previous party all over the floor, pubes on the bloody pee stained sheet on our bed, hair all over the bathroom floor, clipped toenails on the floor, dust caked on the ceiling fan, the lamp shades and the baseboards. Used dirty rags hanging in the shower. I couldn’t go back to sleep after that. I was horrified. I tried to complain to the desk the next morning but the woman working was on the phone and didn’t look up to acknowledge us. This was a horrible experience. I shouldn’t have to inspect a hotel room. It should at least be vacuumed. I have more pictures with the toenails, pubes and pee stains but it won’t let me upload enough photos.

The room was dirty

Very clean rooms, very spacious. The ceiling fan was really nice (weird I know but you never see them anymore and I’m a hot sleeper), and the full size fridge and freezer combo is so much better than the crappy mini fridges that most hotels supply. We will definitely stay here the next time we are in St. Louis!

Late night banging All night long People in and out of the rooms

It was nice having a kitchenette sitting area with separate sleeping areas. One king and then another area with 2 queen beds. It was nice for a family needing 2rooms to have a gathering space.

The room was spacious. I had a 1 bedroom. Beds are very comfortable. Full kitchen is always a plus. Property is clean and quiet. Carpets are definitely dated but what hotel is not. GREAT hotel for the price for sure.

Late night noise All night people were slamming the doors

The property is in need of maintained. A lot of rust around the grab baron the tub. The tub drain was clogged. There was Gray electrical tape on the carpet. My unit was in need of repaint

The refrigerator made a beep sound all night.

Basically its called an extended stay for a reason. Large fridge, kitchenette, sofa couch, roomy. Our stay coincided with a concert at Riverport. We walked to and fro the venue. They have a continental breakfast( no protein) Waffles, cereal, oats, bagels, coffee and condiments. (At least they had something) We felt very comfortable with our stay. Would stay again.

We had a 2 bedroom suite. Only one small trash can in the unit. Water temp was cool to luke warm.

Check in took too long, had to wait. Given an unclean room first, then after we got our room, another couple showed up because they’d given our room to someone else

We were there for one night but the staff were very friendly making sure we were happy. Nice room with a comfortable bed.

Front desk staff very rude at check in and on her phone the whole time. Acted like we were inconveniencing her. All other staff (maintenance & housekeeping) very friendly. Room booked for 4 people and only given 2 towels. No blanket for the pull out sofa and when asked for one told they didn’t have any clean to give us.

Nice weekend getaway trip. Staff was above and beyond. The room was clean and comfortable. Loved having a kitchen in the room.

Choose the property based on it's high rating but was quickly disappointed upon arrival. First, the manager was very dismissive and unhygienic. Upon approaching the desk, there was no greeting but instead stared at me until I announced that I needed to check in. She blew her nose in the middle of assisting me and never sanitized her hands but proceeded to touch my identification, to which I asked if she had hand sanitizer. Again, she just started at me as if that was an inappropriate request. For context, she was training a new employee who just looked uncomfortable with everything happening. The manager, decided to let the new employee take over with assisting. While the new employee was very nice, she didn't know enjoying yet but the manager had disappeared, leaving the employee to fumble through the rest of the check-in. All in all the new employee did fine. Part 2: We got to the room, the 1st thing I noticed was the broken closet mirror and the bathroom tub that had seen better days. The hotel in general from hallways to room, really needed a deep clean. Food smudges on the fridge, dirty buttons in the elevator, night table with questionable stains, pull out bed with no linen and it's mattress speckled with debris. For the price, and history with this brand, I expected much better.

Made reservation in February for our stay in June. Got to the hotel and were told they did not have our booking even though I had confirmation letter. Hotel switched ownership in April and they did not transfer over our booking. We were told they were booked full and no other option was given. Had to drive three hours back home in the middle of the night.

The staff here at Larkspur Landing have been excellent. The stay has been excellent. We couldn’t have asked for more.

My experience here was terrible. It took 2 hours to checkin because the systems were down and they could not get my door key to work in room 135 (knowing there was a known issue with keys not working for that room). The entire time during my one night stay there were nothing but customer complaints. Most of them were keys that wouldn't work. So much so that we couldn't get back into the hotel at night. We had to pry open the front doors. Would highly not recommend this hotel.

Check in was fast and the clerk was very nice. Our room was spacious. We couldn’t find bedding for the sofa bed so I had to go to the front desk. Check out was a little slow. Clerk was having issues with the computer and we were unable to pay separate for the room. We were able to park near the door to enter the hotel. The parking lot had plenty of lights for when we arrived at 10pm. The hotel is within a 10 min drive to the airport.

Walk away from Hollywood Amp

Beautiful room and walking distance from the Amphitheatre!

This place was amazing. Everyone was super friendly. The bed was so comfortable. Conveniently located, within walking distance to gas station and a couple restaurants. Easy walk to Amphitheater as well.

We were attending a concert at Hollywood Casino Amphitheater and this hotel was nice and within walking distance.

The hotel is a little 'worn,' but the location was great and the staff very good. Biggest concern is there is absolutely no signage marking the entrance, and the only place with the name is on the side of the building behind some trees.

Entrance to the hotel has no signage or indication where you enter. There is one sign on the building you can see from the road, but if you do not come from that direction you may have issues finding it. The hotel next door appeared to be shut down and had the doors cracked open. Decent middle location for the area. Gas station is close. Casino is a short drive and the amphitheater is a 10-15 min walk. Our room had issues: 1) When we got in the room it was 87 degrees. It took the AC all night for it to cool down to the 78 we set it to. 2) Ceiling fan in the room had one of the blades broken off. Found it in one of the drawers. 3) Multiple stains on the carpet and the kitchen area had some tears in the flooring. 4) Bathroom was relative small. Location of door swings directly where you would be on the toilet. The lights flickered like you were in a horror movie and made a snapping sound when turned on. Crack in the shower, some what appeared to be black mold underneath it, and the handle in the shower was not secured. 5) Deadbolt easily unlocked if door handle is turned anyway on the inside. Doesn\'t feel very secure. 6) Bed was pretty comfy. Could easily hear anything in hallways. Reported issues to staff next morning and said couldn\'t do anything since not reported in 30 minutes of getting the room. Said they would let manager know and briefly spoke to manager on checkout and they said they would "have maintenance check it". Expected more. No compensation. Meh stay.

I read several negative reviews prior to staying, so my expectations were rather low but we stayed anyway to be walking distance for a concert at the Amphitheater. And I’m glad we did. We were pleasantly surprised. Our room appeared to have been recently updated with new flooring, new sofa and the king bed was clean and comfortable. It was clean and well stocked by hotel staff who were very accommodating in providing extra coffee packets. I was also impressed with the sound proofing because once we were in our room, we heard nothing from the other rooms or hallway. There was even a big group staying right across from us and our room was quiet. The breakfast was a normal hotel breakfast, but the attendant was very personable, kept it clean and well stocked. It was an easy walk to the concert venue and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again

Lovely room, however the furniture in the room is in poor condition. Torn and damaged chairs. The breakfast was very disappointing. Nothing but junk food, cereal and waffles. How about eggs? Hard boiled? I’ve stayed at other Larkspur landing properties which had outstanding breakfasts. This place needs to step it up!!

It is an ok Homewood Suites but it is obvious the hotel is older. The breakfast was not good and limited. The person in charge wasn’t very polite when asked for something. The eggs tasted fake and were runny. Not the best experience for a Hilton and the price.

Attentive customer service friendly staff and great breakfast!

Had a Burger King, Subway and Gas Station right next to the hotel and a Dave and Busters in walking distance. Easy check in and check out, clean room and great service. Only thing lacking was breakfast, the eggs and sausage were a bit cold.
