Poorly trained staff. A group of 5 staff were talking around check in. It took awhile to check in as I believe the person serving us had to be helped several times. Our bath had body lotion instead of conditioner hanging in the shower. Upon checkout, the lady came from talking to the maintenance person to check us out. I told her of the body lotion problem. She seemed confused and asked the maintenance man if lotion should be hanging in the shower. He said no. I can only imagine that the person has never stayed in a hotel!!! Put every check in person in a room for a night to see what staying in hotel is all about. Very disappointed that the restaurant and bar were not operating in the evening. One of the reasons we like Hilton Garden Inns is not having to go out to dinner outside the hotel. This Hilton is not up to par.

I had to wait in the lobby, past the check in time, along with a few others because our rooms were not ready. Then when i got to the room it was not very clean. There was hair in the sink, and the sofa was quite disgusting. We couldn’t sit on it without covering it with a bed sheet because there were weird stains on it. When we opened the sofa bed there were gross stains and trash and crumbs in there! I rubbed a hand towel on the floor and sure enough, it was extremely dirty. I will share that my kids and I loved the pool. I like these hotels and so I was surprised about this one in Pearl.

The location is convenient with a few restaurants nearby. The room itself was not clean. The same is true from the last visit there and I didn’t leave a review because I figured it may have been an isolated incident. This confirmed it. The toilet had visible urine stains around the toilet seat, the pullout couch had horrible stains on the mattress. There was dried blood on the desk. A white desktop. Clearly no one cleaned the room. The floors and mirrors were dirty. We waited 45 minutes for their shuttle at the airport. I called and was told the shuttle was full with a pilot and crew and would return shortly. It never showed. This feature is how I even found this hotel! The staff is nice. Everyone was really nice but the rooms are disgusting and I’ll never stay at this property again.

I don’t know how this property had such a good rating. The walls were dirty/stained in the bathroom, the paint on the door frame was very noticeably mismatched. The elevator was very hot and stinky. There’s a smell that soaked into my things. I will have to wash everything I brought. We only stayed one night. The ac in the hallway was off. It was hot and humid and the old carpet stunk. The ice was mostly melted from the ice machine. I could not believe the cost for a room in such disrepair. Hilton has enough money to repair carpet, paint, ice machines, and AC. There was a couple that only stayed a couple hours and left as I was checking in. Very disappointing hotel.

What we like is the excellent customer service I received with the front desk Christy Blue at Pearl Mississippi. What we didn't like is the red blood stained at the sofa bed. My kids doesn't want to even go that area when they saw it. I think Hilton needs to change it.

The check in was great. The room size was wonderful. The beds were comfortable. The general cleanliness was lacking to say the least. There were crumbs and a stain on the mattress of the foldaway bed. There was mildew in the shower and the closet doors were filthy. The ceiling fan didn’t work as well. Check out was fine but we were surprised to find out the breakfast buffet was an additional charge.

The hotel itself is nice. It is right on the highway so it’s a bit noisy in the room. The bathtub could have used a good cleaning. There were hairs all in the bottom of it. The lady that checked us in was very pleasant. The beds were comfortable. Restaurants and shopping is easily accessible from this location.

The interstate is very loud all night. If you are a light sleeper probably not the place to stay. Other than that it’s a great place. They have a breakfast buffet available for $12.50/person.

It is a lovely hotel, although it is practically sitting on I20. The rooms facing the interstate are very noisy. We first were in a room on the interstate. We checked in late and I thought I could drown the noisiness with the air conditioning. The air conditioning didn't work. A nice evening receptionist moved us to a room on the back side of the Hilton. That morning, the Kuerig didn't work for coffee. I reported it to a gentleman at the desk. The next morning, the Kuerig still wasn't working.

The staff was beyond excellent. This property is the pits. For $200 a night, you would think a person could have a great sleep. These mattresses are horrible, full of lumps, and the down pillows are just that. Down. My body was in agony. Then I had to literally beg for clean towels on the second day. Forget eco-friendly. I do not bathe with a dirty towel at home. Could not open the curtains. The panel on the air conditioning unit is loose. The property gets a zero. The staff, however, makes it okay. The cooks and hostesses in the kitchen are top-notch; they get a 10. Mr. Thompson and his staff are fantastic.

The beds in this hotel are super firm! Like sleeping on a brick! Also this hotel is right next to the interstate! If you stay here ask for a room on the north side of the hotel otherwise you will hear traffic noise all night like we did! Not a very enjoyable experience due to the noise and the hard beds.

The only problem was we checked in at 4:30 and our room wasn’t ready and we were told to come back in 30 minutes. We had been on the road for 8 hours and were a little put out. Also, our room was on the I-20 side of the building and was VERY noisy with Highway noise.

The location is convenient with a few restaurants nearby. The room itself was not clean. The same is true from the last visit there and I didn’t leave a review because I figured it may have been an isolated incident. This confirmed it. The toilet had visible urine stains around the toilet seat, the pullout couch had horrible stains on the mattress. There was dried blood on the desk. A white desktop. Clearly no one cleaned the room. The floors and mirrors were dirty. We waited 45 minutes for their shuttle at the airport. I called and was told the shuttle was full with a pilot and crew and would return shortly. It never showed. This feature is how I even found this hotel! The staff is nice. Everyone was really nice but the rooms are disgusting and I’ll never stay at this property again.

When we booked on Expedia, the listing said pet friendly. I sent a message asking for a 1st floor room because we have a dog. After 8 hours in a car and arriving at 1am, we were berated about not paying for a dog to stay in advance. Nowhere on Expedia did it say there is a $75 charge. They don’t charge for kids but do for dogs? The front desk person was nasty. We were there for 7 hours total. Overall crapy experience after a long day.

The interstate is very loud all night. If you are a light sleeper probably not the place to stay. Other than that it’s a great place. They have a breakfast buffet available for $12.50/person.

Room was dirty with used wet wash cloth on the side of the tub and a dirty pillowcase thrown behind the tv. Did not seem very clean at all. Location is fairly noisy right beside the interstate, but it’s a convenient location.

The hotel itself is nice. It is right on the highway so it’s a bit noisy in the room. The bathtub could have used a good cleaning. There were hairs all in the bottom of it. The lady that checked us in was very pleasant. The beds were comfortable. Restaurants and shopping is easily accessible from this location.

Poorly trained staff. A group of 5 staff were talking around check in. It took awhile to check in as I believe the person serving us had to be helped several times. Our bath had body lotion instead of conditioner hanging in the shower. Upon checkout, the lady came from talking to the maintenance person to check us out. I told her of the body lotion problem. She seemed confused and asked the maintenance man if lotion should be hanging in the shower. He said no. I can only imagine that the person has never stayed in a hotel!!! Put every check in person in a room for a night to see what staying in hotel is all about. Very disappointed that the restaurant and bar were not operating in the evening. One of the reasons we like Hilton Garden Inns is not having to go out to dinner outside the hotel. This Hilton is not up to par.

The beds were comfortable and bathrooms clean. However, the sofa bed mattress was disgusting and ended up sleeping at the feet of the king size bed with the rest of the family. Needless to say, didn’t get a good night rest. The rooms didn’t have the waters that should come with the stay and when we asked, the staff insisted that we had water in our room. It felt like we were being accused of stealing just like when we checked in and the staff insisted I had not paid for breakfast as their coding didn’t reflect that. Once I provided proof from the Expedia app, they asked me to print it out to give them a copy. Of course I don’t carry a printer with me when I travel so they were kind to just make a note and waive the print out. It was late, I had my seven year old twins falling asleep and the last thing I needed was a substandard check-in experience. Their snack area for purchase and breakfast were also below any Hilton standard. Will never stay at this location again.

Interstate traffic noise kept me awake most of the night. Desk clerk said there was no complimentary breakfast, but when I checked out breakfast was being prepared. Overall, I would rate this hotel a two star.

Staff is fantastic but they can’t fix the tv, the AC, the shades, the drain, or the elevator. All not working/properly. I moved rooms three times! Front desk was absolutely fabulous in trying to make my stay comfortable so no issues there. Owner needs to spend a little money on updating and repairs.

The first room they gave me hasn't been cleaned at all or was still occupied. The bed was unmade and there were used towels over a chair. I quickly closed the door and asked for a new room. I got a different room, but in the morning I noticed that the trash can in the room hasn't been emptied and was full with trash from the previous person

The only two concerns: - our room was so close to the highway, I could hear the trucks and cars all night. It was not quiet - parking lot had signs about customers assuming risk which didn’t make me feel comfortable that our cars (and stuff inside were safe) Probably wouldn’t stay here again
