Courtyard Syracuse Carrier Circle

First walkin, I wanted 20minutes for the girl at the counter to address me. she was typing on the computer. She did not event acknowledge me so I just waited. Then getting my was fine and great. But trying to go for a swim was not possible as it was broken down. Just said pool not in service, so other reason. ICE, it was a hot day and I could not fill up water with ICE. ALL EVERY FLOOR machine was not working. comfortable rooms but amenities are not even working in JULY! and it is a busy weekend every year. Nowhere on the web site did it say no pool and no ice.

Pool was closed ☹️

Well we mainly went with this hotel because a hot tub and indoor pool was advertised however we we arrived and went to go use the pool area we were not able to get in and we're given conflicting responses as to why the pool area wasn't accessible. So pretty bummed about that as we really hoped to use those amenities.

Terribly hot in Syracuse and checked in and saw notice "pool closed sorry for the inconvenience, went to bistro for quick meal, sign there said oven not working, cold food only, sorry for the inconvenience. After eating asked for a receipt, told the printer is not working and sorry for the inconvenience. No maid service unless you stay there 3 days, we will not go back.

Paper-thin walls. Near noisy highway. Tiny exercise room with limited equipment. Comfortable beds and newly remodeled facilities are the positives.

A wonderful hotel, everything was perfect! We loved the balcony area attached to our hotel room, and thought it was very unique considering how you don't typically see that a lot in this area. The pool room was wonderful; great temperature and very spacious. They have a gorgeous courtyard in the middle of the hotel with a fireplace too! Staff was very accommodating and always willing to help; a young man even helped assist us with extra pillows and access to the pool room. The only sort of off putting thing was on the morning of check out, housekeeping started knocking at like 10:45AM, 11:15AM, and then again around 11:45AM (three times) when check out time is Noon, so we sort of felt slightly rushed towards the end and we just hope that it was an isolated incident! Overall, wonderful experience and I looking forward to booking again!

We arrived out of state for a funeral and our room was not ready at 3:30 when check in is at 3 and they had no idea how much longer it would take. The viewing was at 4 so we had to book a different room in order to freshen up and change for the viewing. The pool has green water in it and wasn't useable although it was open. The elevator was not working on our side of the building even after we found it bc there was no direction at check in as to what elevator to use. No continental breakfast and we paid $10 for two cups of coffee. Absolutely horrible stay. Never again will I use this hotel.

I booked this stay for the on site amenities, I'm traveling in upstate NY without a vehicle so I didn't want to leave the hotel or have to Uber anything. I called ahead of time and was told that the jacuzzi and pool was functioning. Booked reservation online showed up the next day no pool or jacuzzi. And also the on sight restaurant open for dinner 5-10 was closed the whole night so I had to Uber food. The property is clean I just would have booked something else I was planning on spending the evening getting drinks at the bistro and hanging out at the pool to relax before my flight tomorrow. :(

Property only had one washer and dryer for the entire complex and it was on one wing of the hotel. Super inconvenient that I had to cross the pool to get there, only to find out access to cross the pool is cut off after 10 pm. So you had to walk a country mile through the lobby to get to the laundry or cross through the back parking lot at night at the back of the hotel that is not well lit and I can hear animals in the wooded areas in back scurrying about.

My girlfriend and I decided to drive up to Syracuse for the 2024 eclipse. We arrived at Courtyard around 2:00AM, checked-in and went to our room which had a wet floor, and mildew smell. We went to bed and thought it would subside. Unfortunately it got worse, there’s a plumbing leak. We told front desk and asked if we can be moved. They told us they don’t have rooms and to come back at 3:00PM. The eclipse totality was at 3:23PM, we went back to the front desk around 3:30PM, only to be told by Malissa to come back at 4:30PM. When I came back around that time, I was asked why we wanted a different room. Once again I explained that there’s a leak and that it smells horrible in our room, only to be told with an attitude that “there’s no problem with the room”. I demanded they move us. Once we got settled we wanted to use the hot tub, only to find that the hot tub was filled in with concrete, and the pool was dirty. I specifically booked this hotel so we can use the hot tub. We decided to just call it an evening and go to Ruby Tuesday’s next door. When we came back we grabbed a couple waters and some apple juice only to find that the juice was bad and had separation forming from improper storage. When it was time to check-out, they added additional charges to my card. An absolute nightmare, I’ve travelled everywhere, and never had an experience like this before.

I enjoyed my stay and will definitely stay there again when I'm in town. Clean, convenient, and safe.

The view is of the highway or surrounding hotels from all rooms. There is mold in the bathroom due to no exhaust fans. The balcony is covered in moss and mold. The highway is noisy all night. The staff is rude and absolutely unaccomodating. A lot of the doors dont work with the keycards for the pool and outside entrances. Repairs and management are needed.

The t v and phone did not work in our first room and dirty wash cloths were on top of the shower so we were moved to another room. That room didn't appear clean as there was a layer of dust on the bedroom lamp, the bed didn't seem made well, and the decor on the wall was coming off.

The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean.

Had hair in bed. Hair on shower curtain. And water bug coming out sink. I let them know at front desk. Was told it was no more room and they couldn’t give refund because I booked through u guys. I want my money back. Wasn’t a good night stay there.

Tried for 1/2 hour to access internet, had to Hotspot my phone to conduct my activity

I only stayed one night. My Brother had surgery & I had to pick him up the next day. It was close to the hospital & not hard to find. Staff were very nice. Room was cozy & had a balcony. Bed was very comfortable. It was a quite location.

Our room was clean but the pullout couch didn’t accommodate two people so we weren’t comfortable!

The room was spacious and clean, but the shower would not drain and the controls on the air conditioner did not work. When i forming the desk, the reply was there was no one who could fix it thete. She did offer us a different room, but by this time we had all of our stuff oit and did not want to pack everything up.

Staff for check in was excellent. Walls in room a little thin as I could hear the person in the room next to us coughing all night. Even though we had a balcony there were no chairs on it so we couldn’t enjoy our morning coffee on it….we looked onto other balconies which had outdoor furniture so maybe just an oversight?

The hotels was nice and the staff was friendly.

We waited 10 mins for the front desk attendant to appear with no way to contact anyone. When we got to our room it had a heavy room freshener scent. The Shower water pressure was pretty low and bathroom had no fan to clear steam. The price of this hotel you would think it would come with breakfast. Not overly thrilled with this Hotel, will not book here again.

Hotel was overbooked and they sent me to another hotel. Not what you want to hear at midnight after a long day of traveling.

The young woman who checked us I was incredibly friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic.

The property was updated, clean and well maintained . Breakfast was good, made to order, but a bit pricey. The location was in an industrial park area with other hotels, but not much else was nearby. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Hotel was great. Hotel staff really helped when Expedia did not provide my reservation to the hotel even though I had already paid Expedia.

This hotel botched our reservation and actually gave our room to someone else. The staff was rude and the Residence Inn they sentenced us to was disgusting - not clean and smelled of stale cigarette smoke. WORST EXPERIMENT WITH MARRIOT EVER!

It was clean and reasonably priced. Also good distance for visiting my son at Syracuse University. Would highly recommend.

There was a snow storm and the entryways were all blocked with snow. The driveway was barely plowed. For a disabled person, this is extremely important. The front desk person had no one she could call in. The parking lot was filled with tons of storages containers and miscellaneous building supplies taking up the majority of the entire east side of the parking lot and almost all of the handicapped parking. Even though part of the driveway was plowed, the EV charging area was not, so I could not plug in overnight. At the end of a dead end road. Not a great location.

Nice out of the way quiet place

Room was not the clearness.. bed look like the sheets haven't been changed out in a ling time. Head desk eating while checking us in.. no free coffee .. paid 4.76 for aaeful cup of coffee.. Annette

Not worth $200 a night. Restaurant was closed at 5 pm when I got there. Don’t like ruby Tuesdays. No options there. Out of the way. Won’t stay again.

Our room was very clean & accommodating. Should offer different degrees of fullness of pillow To large & uncomfortable We didn’t find desk staff in Lobby at all helpful. She was either on phone or hiding in back. The cleaning staff were amazing & helpful!! l did have a chance to speak with GM & the bistro manager and was assured it would be up & running for meals . It was not or ever was during my four day large family reunion stay. We were told we would have to walk across street for a continental breakfast . We found this unacceptable! As we had young children & grand children babies to cart .would have to bundle everyone up to do this time & time again. I will give the cleaning staff lady (middle aged- long blonde hair) for at least getting us coffee bagels or what we wanted to drink for young ones Sunday morning .She was amazing & helpful. checked in Wednesday & took the extra charge for our breakfast but Thursday I had them remove it as they had no one to run the bistro & was told they wouldn’t guarantee anyone would be there to run it. So later that day talked with GM & she guaranteed there would be. That wasn’t the case ever . I called all my family that was coming for weekend to not get the added breakfast.The pool was a very weird color but my grandkids did swim in it.Hope it doesn’t have future repercussions for them . The hottub was not functioning at all had a caution rope around it . Probably a safety issue as well. Sad that it wasn’t more enjoyable

My stay was fine. The problembat this hotel is that the bar was not a full bar. I spent 28.00 on two drinks that wasn't worth it. I asked for a Old Fashion and was given the drink with a different product. When asked if it was made with what was on the menu i was told no. That should have never happened. They were out of 90% of everything.

The breakfast was very expensive but overall was impressed by the cleanliness. The staff were very friendly as well and helped ensure our stay was lovely.
