We went on vacation and decided to stay close to the downtown area. Very nice hotel, only issue was the pool. It was not clean and for it being summer and the weather extremely hot, it would have been nice to get in.

Older hotel but in decent shape. The room was very large and breakfast was good. Only complaint was we could hear everything during the might. Elevator was very noisy, we were two rooms away.

The beds were comfy and the rooms were relatively clean. There were areas I could tell haven’t been cleaned in a long time. (Vents, base of floor, etc..) but the rest of the room was good. The windows leaked, probably need to be resealed. No weird smells or anything. Beds were clean. Staff was friendly enough. The elevator ran all night & was very loud. So if noise bothers you, you may want to request a room away from the elevator.

Upon check in staff was pleasant enough and facility was ok than the next morning the person in charge of breakfast that was included was quite rude when asked about the pancake maker being out of pancake mix. Elevator broke down the 2nd night at property and had to walk 4 flights of stairs. We were informed it would be fixed in the next hour (which it was 11pm at the time). The next morning we go to check out and find the elevator is still not fixed and we had to take coolers, luggage, and multiple bags down 4 flights of stairs and the staff could care less. The room itself was very nice and the river sounds and view was worth the money. Pool was very small outside but wasn't there to use the pool. Short walk to the town of Gatlinburg and very easy to locate....just needs friendlier staff and working equipment.

Just was okay place to stay. Room floor damp, door warped could not lock dead bolt. Never saw anyone tend to the pool. So didn’t get in it. Office chair was broken in room and the other room chair was just plain gross. View was nice and balcony had nice chairs. When sitting on the bed you had to chase the mattress. Little annoying for that. You do get a free breakfast but don’t expect pancakes the machine was broken everyday. Do yourself a favor get breakfast out. Poor guy running breakfast was stressed everyday. We did go down for coffee. Front desk lady couldn’t print us a receipt broken printer. All in all just okay.

There were cockroaches in our room. I do not suggest this place to anyone. Bathroom was dirty and door handle was broken. Bed made a huge boom sound extremely loud when going to pay down on it because the box spring was mental and it was warped.

With a little work this could be a decent place to stay. When we got in our room we noticed there was crumbs on the table from previous guests there was a toenail on the floor next to the table that was not clean. The rest of the floor look like it had not been vacuumed, as there was bits and pieces of stuff all over the place. Our neighbors told us they seen a roach in their room so we really started looking and sure enough here come a big old Roach. Do yourselves a favor and do a better job cleaning the rooms and get the place fumigated please.

Cr1071470 This is a very run down and poorly ran property. We booked two nights but ended up leaving and finding another hotel after seeing the condition of the room. The floor had sticky "gunk" all over it, I'm not sure how a cleaner could miss that, and there was a blood stained towel left on the hook in the bathroom. Needless to say I began to question the cleanliness/sanitization of the whole room after that. Front desk worker tried to offer new towels and came up with a mop to clean the dirty floor to no avail. It was all very unprofessional, but it was not her fault. This hotel needs a lot of work and better management. We found a much nicer/newer hotel a block away for the same price where we had a very pleasant experience

River view was nice, room was big (only plus about the room). Property is not well kept up with. Location is good. Quiet, end of town toward park entrance. Walkable to most places.

Room smelled like pee. When we checked in, the front desk gave us keys to someone else’s room that was already occupied. When we got to our next room, it smelled like pee. Thankfully we were only staying the night. Room was clean though and the TV worked. We got two conditioners in the shower (instead of a shampoo and conditioner) and the shower door wouldn’t stay shut. We also got approached by a panhandler in the parking lot in the afternoon. We didn’t stay for the free breakfast in the morning.

The 1st room was smoky smelling, 2nd room the bathroom floor was dirty, the shower had mold in several places,,around drain was moldy.The chair in room looked old and under chair was a empty bottle of gel. (Someone got frisky) They should of seen when cleaning room. We wont stay again.

My family and i stayed three nights. On the second day i noticed my arm was covered in bites from something. On the third day before check out we found bed bugs. Captured a few in a cup and took to the front desk. Upon presenting them to the front desk attendant, i was immediately met with contempt and rudeness. I asked for a refund and received it but the attendant said i was 'bullying' her for asking... i also asked for a letter of acknowledgement of the situation which she refused. A refund for this situation is insignificant. Ive already thrown away more money in luggage and spent the rest of the day washing clothes at the laundry mat and buying new for the family to travel home.

It’s a gamble on what room you get. We stayed two separate times. First time the room had a mildew smell and the AC really needed a tune up because it was SO loud and squeaky. Second time was much better. Room seemed fresh, AC sounded much better. If you get a bad room, I’d recommend checking with the friendly front desk to see if you can switch. (We got in after midnight and were too tired to make a change so we didn’t ask). The rooms are spacious, generously fitting our family of 6 with a pull out couch in the separate sitting area. I would stay here again if we find ourselves in Nashville!

My family and I stayed here for one night. The rooms are pretty spacious. It’s an open concept with minor walls separating it. There is a balcony with a nice flowing creek. Some cons were how hard it was to open the door to the room, the cracks and paint chips in the bathroom and the dirty ceiling. Breakfast was okay. I love how close it was the boardwalk.
My family and I stayed here for one night. The rooms are pretty spacious. It’s an open concept with minor walls separating it. There is a balcony with a nice flowing creek. Stayed here 5 nights, first room had a bad A/C smell to it but they changed our room right away. Has a nice free breakfast. Auto pancake maker, eggs sausage, bacon,pastries, cereal, juice etc... Rooms all have balconies overlooking river. Paid under $500 with tax and fees for 5 nights.

Property looks and feels old comparing with other newer hotel chains, however, the property is well maintained. Property’s stuff is friendly and willing to help out with any issues you may have. We booked one king bed room suite.There was one major inconvenience, we had to share the balcony with our neighbor and that was a bummer. If it was mentioned in the description of the room I would have not booked it. Will not revisit this place again in the future. Thanks.

Convenient location right off the Gatlinburg strip. The mattress on the king bed needs replaced. The breakfast was fair at best. Very limited options available, needs more food options. The coffee was good. We would stay here again.

We loved the large size of our room for an extended stay. The balcony over the river was beautiful. Two things that were a bit of a problem...#1- we booked very early and thought we had a good rate. When we arrived, we found the rooms to be about half what we were charged on the Expedia site. #2- The luggage carts were not in great shape and one of them actually came apart. Luckily we had used a different one for the hanging clothes or there would have been a disaster.
We loved the large size of our room for an extended stay. The balcony over the river was beautiful. Two things that were a bit of a problem...#1- we booked very early and thought we had a good rate. Rooms were huge but no kitchen for a suite. Second TV was not connected (as seen in picture) but the main one had full options. Great for a stay with four kids. Breakfast was the typical eggs and sausage with bread options, juice, coffee yogurts. Would prefer from gluten free bread, greek yogurt. But for the price none of these are complaints. For the price this place was clean affordable.

Older hotel but in decent shape. The room was very large and breakfast was good. Only complaint was we could hear everything during the might. Elevator was very noisy, we were two rooms away.

The beds were comfy and the rooms were relatively clean. There were areas I could tell haven’t been cleaned in a long time. (Vents, base of floor, etc..) but the rest of the room was good. The windows leaked, probably need to be resealed. No weird smells or anything. Beds were clean. Staff was friendly enough. The elevator ran all night & was very loud. So if noise bothers you, you may want to request a room away from the elevator.

Positives - room was very spacious! Beds and pillows very comfortable. Lots of tv station. Balcony over looking creek was amazing. Area felt safe. Walking distance to the strip. Breakfast was great ! Very good and filling. Hotel main areas were very clean. Checkout was quick and easy. Free on site parking Negatives - balcony had lots of spider webs making it harder to enjoy. Curtain did not want to shut fully to make room completely dark- balcony light would not turn off at night. Bathroom/shower corners could have been cleaner . Dirt discoloration in corners of shower - shower drain looked dirty around it . The shampoo and conditioner in room were very very small. Barely enough for one lady and one kid to shower - I'd recommend bringing shampoo . The number that texts saying If you need anything -- does not text back- messaged twice did not get a response. Staff was average not very attentive . Bed spreads had a could light brown stains (it is difficult to get stains out of white sometimes) All in all-- was a good stay. I would stay again. Walking up to the strip was very enjoyable. We did get to see a bear which was exciting . Perfect for a family . Nice quiet location. Felt very safe. Scenery is amazing ! Very peaceful !!

We liked how it was close to all of the places to eat. However, the man on the night shift was very rude when we called and asked the Wi-Fi password, it was a bit hard to understand him due to his accent, I had him repeat the letters to me and unfortunately he raised his voice so much my husband heard it from the other side of the room. When we were checking in, a customer called the phone and was speaking to this Gentleman, who was very rude about the directions he was giving to her, upon hanging up, he turned to my Husband and I and made a rude remark about her intelligence. The hotel room had a spot on the floor that looked like a spilled stain. The shower has mold on the ceiling and only one elevator. This made going downstairs a chore especially when you are located on the top floor. The breakfast was okay. Overall, it was a good stay but not a great one. Will not be interested in staying again.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room above us had a water leak and it had effected the carpet in our room. They handle the problem in a timely manner. I wish there had been a light switch to turn off the balcony light. Location was excellent and plenty of parking. Will stay here again.

We had booked this hotel for 1 night stay. We reached the hotel around 9:30 PM and there was nobody at the front desk. We waited for almost 30 minutes and then front desk person showed up. He said that they have been overbooked and that there were no rooms. He asked us to wait another 30 minutes while he got a room ready. Finally, around 11 PM, we had a room. The check in experience was frustrating as we had 2 small kids with us, and they were super irritable as it was beyond their bedtime. We waited almost 1.5 hours to have a room. The room was okay. It had a balcony with river view. Breakfast was okay.

I am surprised that this place has a higher rating. I was very disappointed with the rude attitude of the staff, mainly the ones who take care of breakfast. Despite being asked every day, they don't clean the room or change the bedsheets. It was a pathetic experience.

This is an older property that has been renovated. Everything worked and the unit was clean. Location is great. A short walk to the main Gatlinburg Blvd. Overall it was a good value for the price. We would go back. Staff was exceptionally nice.

The location of this hotel is perfect. Close enough to everything but isn't on main road, therefore, was quiet. We loved the balcony with the river view. Parking was very convenient. The breakfast was a great way for us to start our day.

We stay here 2-3 times a year. 1 block off the loud strip, 4 min walk to the Peddler Steak House, 4 min walk to the Park Grill. 4 min walk to the entrance to the SMNP. Highly recommend

I really enjoyed the location of the hotel. Everything in Gatlinburg was within a walkable distance. I especially enjoyed the hotel balcony overlooking the creek/river. I will definitely stay at this hotel again in the future.

This is absolutely a bare minimum hotel. It was cleaner then most in the Gatlinburg area which was nice. The room was huge! The hot breakfast was awesome. The pool was closed for the season and no hot tub. It was close to the entrance of the Smokey’s so it was about a 10 minute walk to the middle of the strip. Good place to stay if your not wanting to spend much time sitting in a hotel room.

Stayed here 5 nights, first room had a bad A/C smell to it but they changed our room right away. Has a nice free breakfast. Auto pancake maker, eggs sausage, bacon,pastries, cereal, juice etc... Rooms all have balconies overlooking river. Paid under $500 with tax and fees for 5 nights.

Worst Breakfast ever. There was nothing on day 1 saying the truck has not arrived. I heard the staff cursing the customers for spiling a little bit of food while serving. Overall, worse experience and dirty smell.

The room smelled bad, maybe it had been carpet cleaned, the 1st 24 hours was rough. The bed and pillows were horrible. The elevator had candy or something stuck to the wall the entire three days we were there. Ice machines didn’t work until we pointed that out. The shower drain didn’t drain. The highlight was that the free breakfast was great.

Smooth stay, for my wife’s birthday weekend. The hotel breakfast was horrible, I mean really, who has a “touchless pancake machine” that takes 6 min to make one pancake? 30 people waiting on hat. Get a waffle maker like everyone else.

We didn't have hot water for the first 24 hours we were at the hotel. When you would talk to staff they gave one word replies. I have never stayed at a hotel that didn't say thank you for picking us, how was the visit, or hope you come again. I handed them the room keys and they said all settled. We will probably never stay with that hotel again.

After the 6hr drive we arrived after 3 pm the hotels time to only be informed nonchalantly that our room wasn't ready to go have dinner then come back. Once we arrived back no one was at the front desk, 35-45 minutes later we were able to get into the room which was half clean. The next night the power went out in the hotel and we were told once again nonchalantly that someone will be out to fix it. I had reserved a double queen bed suit and it was actually one queen and on full. I did not complain or request a change in room to keep from further making this stay a disaster. I will not stay at this hotel again nor will I recommend it to anyone.

Front Desk person at check in was not very friendly. However, he seemed to be a hard worker and was doing a lot of work around the property. Room was clean. The balcony was nice. I would stay here again. The location was good, because it had easy access to the National Park.
