Fantastic. Way better than several resorts we stayed at. Quiet, quaint and a gem! All the amenities and great location walking distance from Lil Havana. Slight feedback- parking is an issue so maybe provide guests with a map of parking options to reduce stress and increase a perceived sense of security.

This is a lovely renovated house made into a modern bed and breakfast facility. I was looking for the flavor of old Miami and this lived up to it. Unfortunately, it is not for older people who may be physically handicapped in that there is no elevator to the second floor and you are required to walk up 20 steps with your luggage to arrive at your room. Nor are there any parking spots for guests to use as those outside are for the staff. This is not disclosed in the advertisement. Otherwise, the stay was delightful.

Lovely boutique hotel one block from Calle Ocho in Little Havana. Very chic. Softest bathrobe I have ever worn! Sheets and bed luxurious. Room small, but I think I had the least expensive one. Bathroom large and chic. Nice outdoor seating. Continental breakfast, although no napkins and we were unsure where to put used dishes. No pool. Great spot to enjoy Little Havana! Nice getaway. 25 minutes drive to South Beach.

Only fault was for such a new property the cleaning needs to be perfect. The outside table had food and drink spills which were not cleaned despite pointing them out to the owner. He should have checked this before leaving. Staff and owner helpful and friendly.

The Rover is a lovely hotel, very modern close to the heart of Little Havana. Everything inside is beautifully decorated. However, enjoying your sleep is a problem with the dog next door barking til 11pm and the rooster cockle doodle doing at 4am. Upon arrival I hadn't received the email with the door code and was stuck outside for a few minutes since there's no live person on site to assist with issues, but all was resolved quickly with a phone call. They were kind enough to assist with parking. Not a fan of the neighborhood but it's very close to Calle Ocho.

The location is convenient Very close to calle ocho and not far from Brickell. It' a small boutique style hotel lovated in residential area. They don't have elevator so be prepared to carry your luggage upstairs on your own. They don't have a real front desk to check in There's a guy who is there during business hour to help if you need anything. You might not see him while he's there but you can call him. We were there with two kids. But I think this hotel is most suitable for a couple or solo Travelers then people with the kids

Very nice property. Fences give it considerable privacy. It is not a block from the name drag in Little Havana as a single woman looks like it is just beginning to upgrade. There are homes in the area in repair. The property itself is absolutely lovely. The start of staff very helpful. There’s a lovely breakfast in the morning. Everything is very clean and up-to-date. This is a little oasis and I enjoyed my stay!

Very attractive and updated boutique hotel. Very comfortable room. Spacious and clean. Location super convenient to Little Havana. On the surface, it was everything I love about boutique hotels. The downside (for me) was initially the remote (digital) nature of obtaining/using a digital app for entry. (Hotel does not seem to be staffed full time). I did not feel there were adequate instructions. It was confusing for me, but perhaps not so for others. The location is ideal for a visit to Little Havana. It felt very safe. Noise was an issue, however. The very very loud music from nearby clubs kept going until 4 am. It kept us up most of the night. My other disappointment was the included breakfast. We expected a continental breakfast. Nothing elaborate. By the time I came downstairs, however, at just nine am, there was only some fruit and a couple tubs of yougart remaining. The pastry tray was completely empty, with no one in sight to refill. Just disappointing.

Loved the location of this hotel! We could walk to so many amazing restaurants in Little Havana. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The beds were too firm in my opinion, I had a hard time sleeping on such a firm mattress. But the design of the entire hotel was superb and super clean. The breakfast that was provided in the mornings was lovely as well.

I have found the best kept secret in Miami and selfishly, I hope it stays that way. I flew in town super early and was exhausted, and The Rover took care of all of my needs! The beds were exceptionally comfortable, the style of the hotel is beautiful, and I love that it’s in a residential neighborhood close by to everything. I walked to the famous Versailles restaurant for dinner and passed many great looking closer ones. There are also great coffee shops close by. I hope to stay here every time I come to Miami. Thank you for everything (esp that early check in!!!!) it really saved my life.

New and very modern. Extremely good design. Very comfortable room, shower, sheets and bathrobe. Continental breakfast. Calle Ocho is just around the corner. It is very quiet unless you have a lower floor room with young kids in the room above! Would recommend this very highly.

Beautifully renovated and i love the area. Gorgeous bathroom. But whatever you do, DON'T STAY ON FIRST FLOOR. The walls are super thin!!! You are either next to the ice machine or like me... i was in room #1 which is next to the lobby. Ppl were up at 7am talking loudly, playing music, etc. There need to be signs that say "Shhhh, ppl are sleeping!!" I just couldn't believe it. 7am Really??? There is no noise barrier

What an incredible experience! We had a family event close by stayed at the Rover for a quick weekend. Located within walking distance to Calle 8’s Little Havana. Aside from our family events there was not much need for a car, plenty of restaurants and shops close by. The hotel is tastefully decorated, modern decor with new world timeless pieces. Our room was spacious and comfortable it also had a balcony which we utilized to drink coffee each morning. The continental breakfast was lovely. What made our experience exceptional however was the staff, what an amazing crew! They really go out of their way to ensure your stay is absolutely perfect and any requests you may have are addressed within minutes. To my dear Jenny thank you for taking such great care of me and my family, eres super especial. Highly recommend will definitely be back!

Small boutique hotel located walking distance to Little Havana. New building tucked into the neighborhood. Nice, modern accommodations, using digital technology to register and enter facilities. Staff was very accommodating with storing our luggage for the day before checking in.

No answers on emails once you are checked inn. Bikes are locked, no one to ask. Other questions multiple times not answered via expedia or email. Room itself and hotel is good. But nobody around except cleening staff.

The Rover is a lovely hotel, very modern close to the heart of Little Havana. Everything inside is beautifully decorated. However, enjoying your sleep is a problem with the dog next door barking til 11pm and the rooster cockle doodle doing at 4am. Upon arrival I hadn't received the email with the door code and was stuck outside for a few minutes since there's no live person on site to assist with issues, but all was resolved quickly with a phone call. What an incredible experience! We had a family event close by stayed at the Rover for a quick weekend. Located within walking distance to Calle 8’s Little Havana. Aside from our family events there was not much need for a car, plenty of restaurants and shops close by. The hotel is tastefully decorated, modern decor with new world timeless pieces. Our room was spacious and comfortable it also had a balcony which we utilized to drink coffee each morning. The continental breakfast was lovely. What made our experience exceptional however was the staff, what an amazing crew! They really go out of their way to ensure your stay is absolutely perfect and any requests you may have are addressed within minutes. To my dear Jenny thank you for taking such great care of me and my family, eres super especial. Highly recommend will definitely be back!

The location is convenient Very close to calle ocho and not far from Brickell. It' a small boutique style hotel lovated in residential area. They don't have elevator so be prepared to carry your luggage upstairs on your own. They don't have a real front desk to check in There's a guy who is there during business hour to help if you need anything. You might not see him while he's there but you can call him. We were there with two kids. But I think this hotel is most suitable for a couple or solo Travelers then people with the kids

I have found the best kept secret in Miami and selfishly, I hope it stays that way. I flew in town super early and was exhausted, and The Rover took care of all of my needs! The beds were exceptionally comfortable, the style of the hotel is beautiful, and I love that it’s in a residential neighborhood close by to everything. I walked to the famous Versailles restaurant for dinner and passed many great looking closer ones. There are also great coffee shops close by. I hope to stay here every time I come to Miami. Thank you for everything (esp that early check in!!!!) it really saved my life.

Very expensive for what you get. But this is Miami in February so prices are inflated everywhere. It’s a good establishment, just nothing to write home about. Convenient to eateries in little Havana. We felt safe because it’s in the heart of the tourist area.

Loved the location of this hotel! We could walk to so many amazing restaurants in Little Havana. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The beds were too firm in my opinion, I had a hard time sleeping on such a firm mattress. But the design of the entire hotel was superb and super clean. The breakfast that was provided in the mornings was lovely as well.

On our first visit to Miami, my wife and I wanted to take in the local Cuban Flavors of Calle Ocho in Little Havana.What a fantastic choice the modern and unique boutique hotel,The Rover was.Just a block and a half off of the main part of Calle Ocho,The Rover put us within easy walking distance to Excellent dining choices,and unique Cigar factory experiences such as the Cremo Factory “Blend your own custom cigar experience”.Finally of course the local flavors and colors of Old Havana and Cuban heritage.Two nights at The Rover! Perfect.

Bathroom large and chic. Nice outdoor seating. Continental breakfast, although no napkins and we were unsure where to put used dishes. No pool. Great spot to enjoy Little Havana! Nice getaway. 25 minutes drive to South Beach.

Very nice property. Fences give it considerable privacy. It is not a block from the name drag in Little Havana as a single woman looks like it is just beginning to upgrade. There are homes in the area in repair. The property itself is absolutely lovely. The start of staff very helpful. There’s a lovely breakfast in the morning. Everything is very clean and up-to-date. This is a little oasis and I enjoyed my stay!

There was no one on site… I needed to use the pull-out sofa for my father. I could not pull it out. They had construction work going on and they started before 7 AM on a Sat. Morn. It was bad enough that I heard the music from the business behind the property until about 3:30AM. The construction was going on in the same init that had issues two yrs ago. I liked the property the previous time I was there but it was not the same. No breakfast was available and no one on site to help with the bed… noise. Disappointing! We did not stay for our second night. It wasn’t worth it.

There is no staff which is no big deal but after booking you learn that parking is extra and costs more than the airport. The hotel itself was nice, a staff member was helpful during check in on the property. Unfortunately, we were told we would have a reserved parking spot (we agreed to pay the $50) but there was no available parking. Drove around for an hour looking for parking nearby, and most places only allow up to 3 hour parking so we were reliant on having a reserved spot. Overall, good stay but the parking situation was frustrating.

The Rover is definitely the place to stay if you plan on visiting Calle Ocho. The Rover is within walking distancing, in a safe neighborhood, and conveniently located to almost anything you may need. The Rover has easy directions for access to your room and outside doors, the establishment is clean, quiet, and has a relaxing outside seating area. This was my third stay at The Rover and I definitely plan to stay there again.

The cleaning staff needs to clean the floors of the room better. Variety of past shoe prints on wood. Shower had left over female bodily fluids. To be fair I didn’t notice at first because it blended in with the pattern of the floor but then the water hit it and it was clear. There was a nice glass out on the balcony filled with old cigarettes and water. I do smoke but would never use a drinking glass as an ashtray. I always use a closable half empty water bottle. Was nervous about bed but it was clean and nice and comfortable. The location is great. Very spacious king suite with generous balcony. Would strongly consider staying again. Specifically Room 9.
