This place is definitely worth the price because of the location to downtown San Antonio. Was traveling on a budget and decided to stay here to catch a concert and was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to get around town from here. Like most budget motels the hot water heater was a little quirky and the water wasn't crazy warm, but other than that it was a pleasant stay. Definitely recommend if you're not looking for the Ritz-Carlton.

Word of advice. If you’re on a budget and choose to do the cheaper option by choosing the smoking rooms even if you don’t smoke. DONT. My husband and I just needed a place to rest our heads and chose the cheaper option. BOY was it a mistake. The smoking room not only had a smell (which was tolerable) but the fridge didn’t work AND we found TWO roaches. One my husband killed. The second one escaped. That was the last straw for me. We went straight to the desk and told them we were not going to be able to stay there. The staff was very apologetic and offered to upgrade us to a non-smoking. Which was NIGHT AND DAY DIFFERENCE. The room was so much cleaner, already move in fresh since the ac was already on. Which the other room was not on at all. And we felt nothing when we turned it on. After that I have no complaints. But definitely lesson learned. Always spend the money on the non-smoking. Even though it’s not an excuse for how that room was. I understand. But doesn’t make it okay. Other than that. We had a good experience. The room was nice and comfortable and clean.

Much better I genuinely thought that I was getting scammed on my last trip first I got a massive discount on the room which is fine great even I just thought I got lucky but then I show up and I find out that breakfast is 100%
