In a hard-to-find location at a very busy intersection. Two squad cars occupied the center of the small parking lot when I arrived. The bed was soft. The shower was good.

Not easy to find the front office . Had to loop around many times and even ended up on I-87 north just before seeing the entry way to the small front lobby entrance. Should have a small sign to direct us to entry. Google map does not provide this info. No breakfast was served even thought advertised so on this website. Not even coffee.!! Pillow are Euro style and not comfy. Bathroom is very small. However the standard air con/heater you see was very quiet

Only outside entrances, property wedged next to highway exchange, first room dirty and smelled like smoke so the staff moved me to a better room but I was still uncomfortable and decided not to stay overnight at that hotel.

This is a hotel that hasn’t updated since the late 80’s. No phone chargers, Ice machine doesn’t work. Even TV difficult to work. Bed seems OK.

Passing through on our way from Ontario Canada to Boston and just needed a room for the night. Tired old motel. Room poorly cleaned, sheets/blankets had rips. Overall poor condition. Would pay a little extra and stay somewhere else if I were passing through the area again. Good location for access to I90 but that was all.

Small rooms, one tucked away in a corner with a "view" of a cement wall. Walls in both rooms need repairs and paint. Roles of carpeting blocking the sidewalks do suggest that improvements are on the way. Parking lots on either side of the motel are not connected, and the motel is hemmed in by the highway and its entrance, making access a bit difficult. Coffee and tea available in the lobby, but no continental breakfast, although this is promised on the website. On the other hand, the location is good, with many food and other shopping options nearby, and desk staff did their best to be helpful.

Dirty looking towels in the bathroom, lifted something off the tray of the coffee maker in the room and there was mold on it. Glad I was only there for one night. Also was tricky to get in and out of the parking lot

The first room they put us in had mold on the ceiling in the bathroom and socks in the bathroom that was room number 45 then they moved me to room 47 and I had to go to the office because there was no hair dryer they gave me one then they said there is Internet and when you click on it it says security rick and then they never checked the other room and rented it out plus the towels and wash clothes were dirty and dingy and couldn't even get a roll of toilet paper had to buy a roll the curtains on the windows are ripped the vent in the bathroom don't work I tried to cancel my reservation and leave and was told no refund the site said free breakfast and there was nothing

The room was very small. Room needs to be upgraded. Very dirty. Roach infested. The bath sink was backed up. The tub was stained. Carpets were filthy. . Toilet was dirty. Had a weird smell in the room. Didnt stay both nights that i bookeddue to poor conditions a d roaches in room.

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL….BED BUG INFECTED AND THEY DONT CARE AND DIDNT FIX ISSUE…MY SON STAYED AT THIS LOCATION AND HAD TO RELOCATE TO THE HILTON DUE TO BED BUGS, BITES AND A BREAKOUT…..THIS JUST HAPPENED 8/30/24

There were dirty towels, washclothed, and my bed spread had long hairs (i'm balled) an stains.

The room (we tried three of them) had black mold in the bathroom and ants. The first room had rodent droppings. There was no breakfast or coffee available. The manager was banging on our door at 9:50am to tell us we had to leave. We are not picky people, and have had very positive stays at other Super 8s; will not stay here again.

I found human blood on my mattress covered by towel. There was blood in the bathroom threshold, wall and sink. Also random stains all over the walls by the bed like someone splashed a drink or just more dried blood. If you value your health don’t ever go there !!! Actual crime scene

Holes in sheets, stains in towels, bathtub was dirty and clogged, floor were not swept, dust everywhere, weird stains in the furniture…this place is terrible, dirty and disgusting. This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

the staff were very friendly and the area was fine, but the hotel rooms were in very poor shape. The first room was non-smoking, but had a horribly stained carpet, a wad of hair on the pillow, and smelled awful. It was very late so rather than leaving I asked for a different room. No carpet, better smell, but broken bathroom door handle, broken sink handle, gouged paint on the walls, filthy phone, dirt and hair on the baseboards in the bathroom, and about a 3/4 inch gap in the shower where the caulk didn't cover that just let water run behind the shower wall and the tub. The neighborhood seemed fine, if it wasn't I would have also been concerned by the lack of interior door chain or strap.

This is by far the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed at.

The hotel is in disrepair. The rooms are musty, the floor is sticky, the toilet bowl was broken, the curtains are dusty, and the breakfast consist of bread, bagels, cream cheese, and jam. No plates though, not even paper plates (had to use paper bowls). The stairs to the upper floor are too steep/unsafe.

Room was smaller than expected, especially the short tub/shower, which was surprisingly narrow to stand up and wash comfortably in. Surprisingly there were absolutely no hooks or a small closet compartment to hang anything…Just a three drawer chest. Some dings on the walls, and scratched surfaces along the baseboards… Could use a refresh of paint. Linens, towels, and pillows were clean, but would benefit greatly from being washed in a bleach cycle. The shower curtain should be laundered more frequently and with bleach as well. The pillows should probably be refreshed as well… Not a dealbreaker, but you could sense they’ve been around for a while! During the first overnight stay, discovered that the toilet had basically blocked for no obvious reason whatsoever. It was fixed by later in the afternoon of the following day. There should also be a doormat just inside the room because you are step in directly from outside and will get the floors a little mucky during the certain weather.

Worst stay ever. SUper dirty, room hadn't been cleaned, poop stains on bathroom ceiling, towels had goopy spots on them, card swiper didn't work so someone had to let us in with a hand key every time we needed to get in to our room, thermostat didn't work and the room was cold, breakfast was disgusting with rotten food, the staff would not amend our reservation even though it could've been done easily, sketchy af part of town, lots of road noise, and every time we complained they said they would fix things but never did. Holy f was it bad. Steer clear!

Enjoyed the stay. Not sure I was supposed to get one of the "nicer" rooms, perhaps a suite, but it looks like things were a bit confusing when I checked in. Anyway. nice spacious room. Much bigger than the motel rooms in the annex side of the building. Some cosmetic stuff like cracks in the sink and wallpaper unfurling, not remodeled like the smaller motel rooms again, in the annex side of the building. more than worth the cost of a night or two.

high priced for what is offered. I've stayed here before at lower prices that are a better match for the tight, cramped room you get. Need for renovations is starting to emerge after renovations that occurred a few years back. Still, if for a couple of hours' sleep or a layover from a long night, it serves a great purpose. Easy to sleep at. Most rooms are recommended for one person.

The rooms could use some repairs and new paint. The room was tiny. The bathroom was tiny. It was a bit rundown. The hotel is located by three very busy streets. It's a very loud area. I wore ear plugs and put on some white noise. The curtains didn't cover the entire window so it felt like we didn't have the needed privacy you should have in a hotel. I know this is an economy hotel, but it was close to $200 a night, Not a good value at all. Apparently it's racing season so the rooms in the Albany area were higher everywhere. If we had paid only $80 for this room I would not have minded so much, but it felt like we were gouged.

Every time I stay here, I have a different experience. This was the third distinct room I've experienced. I think we got a free upgrade, from a queen to a king. What we got was a time capsule. The left side was reasonable. An old suite. Clean and appealing. The right side... where the old, unusable jacuzzi remains and a bathroom that, unlike all the other rooms I've stayed in there, needs serious renovations. Again, all other rooms have renovated bathrooms. Even the handle of the water in the shower came off. A different experience. This will be a great room should it ever be renovated.

The room was small, floor extremely dirty, gouged walls, broken tiles, lightbulbs missing in bathroom fixture leaving socket exposed. Broken microwave, scratching all over fridge. Two very small pillows. Chairs in room had black tape over holes. White towel turned dark brown from floor. Walks thin, heard everything in next room. No breakfast offered as advertised.

It was fine overall. My son and I had to be in Albany for a day so this hotel worked out. The room was clean. The tub and shower were brand new. The rest of the room seemed dated but since it was very clean, there were no issues with the room. A breakfast was included with the price of the room. If you are looking for an average or above breakfast, this is not it. There was very little available to eat. Amongst the precious few items available, there was a single bagel - it was moldy. To his credit, I informed the gentleman at the desk who immediately came over and discarded it, apologizing profusely. I would probably choose a different hotel next time.

Everything Was Good Until Check Out, Unprofessional And Rudenesses..

Booked this room because Hotels.com claimed they were pet friendly. Tried verifying on their website but they had ZERO information on pet policy, so we just trusted Hotels.com. We were about two hours out from arrival when they called and asked if I was still coming. I said yes, but they said I never paid. I told them my card was declined for security reasons, but I updated the card information so they can run it again. They kept repeating in a thick Indian accent that was hard to understand that I didn't pay. I confirmed I was showing up and explained I do not know why Hotels.com didn't run the payment again, and that maybe that's a Hotels.com issue. It was like talking to a wall. We showed up and paid, but later were told they never charged us for pet fees, so I paid for that. The next day, I was told they only charged me once and not for the full stay for pet fees, and they also don't accept cats, but I had already stayed the night. They let the cat issue slide, thankfully. Separately, the towel rack in the bathroom was halfway out the wall and about to fall off the entire stay, but I told them it's not an emergency, so no need to come during our stay. Zero housekeeping the entire time, so our garbage piled up and no one came to pick up trash when we left it outside of our room because so much trash was piling up in the trash cans in the room. Bed and pillows were decent. Very spacious room, although strange shape/layout. Not a great experience, but not bad either.

Check in was fine. Room was small, mostly clean, just needed more attention to details and the office chair was all stained and needed replacing. The bed seemed fairly new and was comfy. No bedside light and the alarm clock was falling apart. I just needed a quick stop to sleep & shower so this hotel was fine for that. I was most annoyed by my experience when I went to the lobby around 6 am for the 24 hour coffee/tea before I got back on the road. The desk clerk was dozing in a recliner in the lobby (shoes off & all) and the eating/beverage area was dark. When I asked if there was coffee/tea he said "yes, over there" and motioned in the general direction. Never got up to turn a light on for me!!! I had to use my phone's flashlight to see what I was doing as he continued to relax in the recliner. Bad customer service!

Checking in was very difficult. My card couldn’t be used due to an authorization issue. I had to go find an ATM because the one at the property doesn’t work. There was a suspicious pair of men in the parking lot that I was told aren’t even staying on the property. The room is dirty. The linen is dirty and the locks are loose.

Amazing stay, manager always goes out of his way to make sure we are comfortable and happy with our stay. Gary always makes sure we are good. Will recommend to friends who are looking for somewhere affordable, comfortable, and close to the mall.

Took ten minutes to check in because the first desk agent had no idea what she was doing. Fell on ice in the parking lot because they were too lazy to salt. No hot water in the shower/tub. Took the two desk agents forty minutes to agree to move me to a different room. New room had hot water but no stopper in the tub and mold in the shower area. Checkout took twenty minutes because the new agent, possible owner, was rude and had no interest in hearing about the water and ice issues. It’s no surprise that nobody stays here. Hall carpets aren’t just frayed, they are straight out ripped and mangled. The ceiling panels in the common areas are either water stained or missing all together. The place is just a dump.

I did not enjoy my stay and ended up leaving one night early. Initially they put me in a room all the way in the corner at the end of a dark hallway. I'm a single female traveler and I did not feel safe in that corner. They gave me a new room in the morning that I requested, but that's where the positive ends. I had no hot water in my room. I came home from work late each night and didnt have energy to try to fix this in the middle of the night so basically i didnt shower while there and only brushed teeth and etc. They did not clean my room once in the 4 nights I was there. No garbage removed, nothing. The towels smelled nasty like the washing machine is not draining water properly or something, it made me gag. Also, there is no breakfast, so they should really stop advertising that they serve breakfast because they do not. False advertising. It's in a convenient location across from the mall but the moldy smell of the sheets and towels, lack of hot water, and the big that crawled out of the sink in the bathroom were a no go for me. I paid over $80/night. This should have been no more than $60 per night and that's being generous.

Immediately after booking, I received an email stating that breakfast wouldn't be available. I emailed to inquire if that grab-and-go breakfast would be available, but the hotel never responded. When I checked in, I asked and was told that breakfast would be available, but when I went for breakfast in the morning, there wasn't any - not even coffee - although the manager brewed a pot for me. The hotel's Wi-Fi also left much to be desired. I was only able to connect in the lobby - not in the room - and even in the lobby, there seemed to be a problem accessing the Internet, despite the Wi-Fi connection. Despite it being a 100% non-smoking hotel, my room smelled like smoke, and the desk clerk was hesitant to give me a new room - eventually I imposed upon him to call the owner and got myself a new room. There were hairs on the sink and in the shower, there was a burned-out bulb in the bathroom, the shower curtain was grungy, the room was tiny, there was missing drywall taping on the bathroom ceiling, the towels were small, the in-room coffee pot was missing, there was an ant in the bathroom, the light switches were unintuitively-located, and the toilet paper roll was empty. (I had to install a spare they left in the room, but I'm not sure why maid service hadn't done so before my arrival.) The only nice things I can say are that the bedding was comfortable and the TV worked.

I went to the New York Bar Exam and had the chance to stay in a quiet place to study. Gary was great and provided me an excellent stay while at the hotel. I haven’t had any issues with my room n.12 and the staff was nice during all my stay. Thank you Gary and the whole staff for it!

The room was terrible. The amenities laughable and staff unprofessional. The jacuzzi took two hours to fill up (water pressure so low). The knob you turn to release drain the jacuzzi was molded. There was no breakfast only coffee and creamer in short supply. The staff doesn’t know how to issue the refund for the $100 deposit. I checked out on a Sunday and the charge is the on my credit card and today is Thursday. Mind you I paid $298 for this room.

The location was perfect near the expressway entrance. There are many food choices and grocery stores nearby. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. I would stay there again if I’m visiting Albany.

As always, a decent place to sleep. Room was small but enough for one person. I didn't leave money behind this time to end up missing, so that was good. Clean shower though water was, what did Kramer say, "invigorating." I turned the heat up in the room to warm up. I'll stay again. Too convenient for the purpose... a place to sleep for a few hours and shower before going again.

Paid the extra for the motel because they offered breakfast absolutely disappointed 😞 the gentleman at 7 am didnt have anything out and when we asked about it he got all huffy and put out 2 bagels 2 pieces of bread a half gallon of milk and some cereal. Not worth paying the extra for it. Room was clean hot water thats about it

This hotel advertises and is booked via hotels.com as "with breakfast" that's a lie...there is no breakfast in this hotel.....

Advertised as "Breakfast included" and then after I purchased the non-refundable stay, I received an e-mail stating "For safety reasons, due to the Corona virus pandemic, we have temporarily suspended our Continental Breakfast". COVID was 5 YEARS AGO! If you don't want to serve breakfast anymore, REMOVE IT FROM YOUR LISTING. DON'T USE COVID AS AN EXCUSE. It's not a valid excuse anymore.

Horrible breakfast. A slice of bread, two bagels, 5 mini donuts and moldy cream cheese. Such garbage, also couldn't even take the bagel that I did have back to the room. Give me a break, I'm not a child.
