Hampton Inn Knoxville East

If you have kids and you’re looking to book this hotel because of the pool, don’t. At least on our stay on July 09 the pool was out of order. And judging by the film that was growing on the pool, it didn’t look like it had been working for awhile. It’s disappointing to pay more for a hotel to use a pool and it not work. I wish they had it listed on their site. So if you have car-bound kids who are hoping to get their energy out by swimming, try the one across the street. Besides that, the hotel was clean.

My husband and I live in Knoxville and we go to this hotel at least every year for my birthday. Their pool is open 24 hours and the big tub in the room is wonderful. Nice clean and friendly place. Breakfast was wonderful too. ❤️

It was sufficient. It had a cold pool and no hot tub which was disappointing and is inconsistent with our experience at other Hamptons

RV rental center surrounding the hotel was too close. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable of restaurants. Property was well lit with parking close to building.

Great stay! We had a large box truck with us and parking was very easy. Warm cookies too!

Check in was a breeze, the room was clean and comfortable. Plenty of free parking.

Parking was safe and there was plenty of room. The breakfast was amazing. Our bottled waters were super nice and refreshing.

Celebrating out 14 Year Anniversary and wanted a Romantic Quiet Place to relax and spend time together away from the hustle and bustle of life. This was a great place to do this! We Love the comfortable beds, quietness, pool, and delicious breakfast. The staff were kind and very helpful.

The AC did not work properly. Wall thermostat did nothing, and the AC unit did not work consistently. One end of the room was hot while other end was cold. Carpet was not clean. Breakfast was good. Lobby was clean and modern. Staff was very nice and accommodating.

Understaffed on cleaners. Rooms were halfway cleaned and took while to get ready

Staff was very friendly. The hotel was clean for the most part but was very dated and older. It needs to be updated, the room was a little musty smelling. You could hear the a/c dripping when it was running. The bathroom tile grout was missing on the floor. It just needs improvements. The breakfast was fine typical Hampton Inn breakfast. But the kindness of the staff made up for the other minor issues.

Could be cleaner (hair on bathroom floor, grout had mildew) breakfast was good and filling. Overall a nice stay.

This place is a filthy, glorified motel. It appears as a Hampton until you get in the rooms. At least the 2 rooms we were assigned, we felt as though we were put in a housekeeping closet. At best, they were half the size of any Hampton we've ever stayed in, or what we booked . (This was the 4th Hampton just on this trip from Texas to Maryland.) We always choose Hilton or Marriott properties and expect those brands' standards. The TV was nowhere close to even 40", let alone the brand's standard size. The walls were dirty and bare except for holes and broken off screws/brackets. We noticed a foul smell once we laid down, and after some searching, we discovered the pillow was moist with a terrible stench. We had to shower again, in the 2nd tiny room we were given, just to get the stench out of our hair! We found out from the extremely rude FD agent that they launder their pillows instead of replacing them! The woman wouldn't even look at us when assigning a second room and refused to speak to us directly. The other FD agent, a young man, was very professional and tried to fill the obvious silence the rude agent was giving us. The second room also had a bad smell, dirty carpet, and stains on the chaise. I called and spoke to the GM. She got loud with me, and I asked her to lower her voice. When she wouldn't, I hung up. We are confused at to why their Google reviews are so high, and we were given this horrible experience.

It was so clean and the people were very friendly

I have stayed here several times and I am not sure if it was the fact we were on floor 5 or if the hotel itself is going downhill but it was not a clean place overall. There was bacon sitting on the floor in the hall the entire time we were there up on floor 5. Our room was dated and had a leaky sink There was water damage at the base of the shower and what looked like mold. The breakfast was delicious and my mom on floor 2 had a very clean and nice room.

It was very clean; it even smelled clean! The pool was open 24 hours which was so convenient and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast had everything you would want. Definitely will stay there again!

A really comfortable stay. The room doors need new closers as they all slam shut. It seems the guests are aware and hold them back, which is nice and considerate. This problem has been ongoing. Otherwise a super great stay and clean.

Nice, clean, good breakfast options, but the pillows were terrible ( size of a throw pillow) and over priced.

Was a tad noisy in my room but the room was clean and comfortable. The closet door did not work well so I didn’t use the closet. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

Unfortunately we over payed for our stay here. The room service did not restock soap or coffee and the pillows were not well maintained. I wouldn’t stay at this location again.

Really nice Hampton Inn. Room was spacious. Linens were great. Rooms nice and cool in the hot summer.

Only issue was trying to use tv. Found staff in hall and she figured it out for us.

I had booked rooms for my mom and I and also my brother. We arrived about 5:30 pm and got checked in easily. Our rooms were clean and spacious. We went to eat at Cantina Amigos. We love Mexican food and this place was really good. We were awakened the next morning by the fire alarm. It was scary, but all was well. Every staff member I came in contact with was super nice. I am a fan of Hampton Inn and this stay only solidified that.

Warm and welcoming staff made for a wonderful experience.

EVERYONE was polite and welcoming. Check-in was efficient. After a long day of travel and ready to hit the bed, this was the perfect, quiet place to be.

Spending the day in Knoxville today but didn't want to stay downtown. This Hampton Inn is about 10 miles away and is perfect.

The hotel was in an odd location away from everything, made it hard to DoorDash food, it was dirty and unfinished, very small and the guests were loud! Super disappointed for the price! This was a part of a larger trip several hotels over several days and this one was by far the worst and most expensive!

Close to the highway but far enough away to be quiet. Restaurants nearby, including a good sit down restaurant right behind the property.

Enjoyed our stay of 4 nights. Hotel is very clean, fairly quiet, family-friendly, has friendly staff, and nice breakfast selection. Conveniently located near I-40, restaurants, fast food, and gas stations. Our only complaint would be that the nearby RV dealership’s security system was constantly set off every few minutes all night and every night. My son and I managed to sleep through it but it woke my wife up several times. I was well aware of it though because I could hear it every evening when we returned from our day’s activities.

Beds and pillows were ok. Breakfast was disappointing. Scorched omelette and sausage, just warm.

This hotel is well kept and the service was great. Amazing breakfast selection included omelettes, sausage, oatmeal, waffles, pastries/bagels/muffins, yogurt, juices and coffee in a very nice dining area. Would definitely return again.

A mixed bag. The room was clean and well equipped with very good mattresses. It appeared to have been redone fairly recently. At check-in we were handed a piece of paper that said the breakfast area was being remodeled and a limited, mostly cold, selection would only be available. Fine, but why not give us that information when making the reservation or refunding some of the cost. We paid to eat elsewhere. The fire alarm (false alarm) went off at 6:30 the next morning waking us up certainly and likely the rest of the building.

Convenient location for seeing Knoxville and a good pit stop on your way to Pigeon Forge. The hot parts of the breakfast were not great, but pretty average overall.
