Everything was great. Only two things hampered our stay. They were the elevator was very slow and little pressure in the shower. Other than those 2 small things everything was excellent, especially the clerks at the front desk at check in and check out were outstanding in every manner. They should be commended.

The location is quiet and there is plenty of parking. The bed is comfortable with lots of pillows. My room had no art work on the walls, but it looks like there are hangers for art. My room could use a little more detailed cleaning and a coat of paint as there are scrapes and scratches on the walls and trim .

I'm wheelchair dependent The ADA access is as good as the Premier hotels. This hotel needs an infusion of cash though. Chairs in lobby are hideous. Chair in my room is worn to the bone. But the bed is fine. TV is good. Front door guy is spectacular.

We stayed in Aug 2023. We were to stay multiple nights but ended up checking out the morning after we arrived. Everything was gross. Felt dirty. We didn’t sleep under the sheets. It was noisy. When we checked out there was a lady refusing to leave. Police were called. The parking lot was filled with shipping containers making it difficult to park and lots of dark spots. I was surprised to find my car in one piece when we checked out. Would not recommend this property at all based on our visit in August

Old. Needs updating. Drop ceiling in bathroom was rusty from humidity. Parking lot was filthy. Evelator was very slow. A/C noisy. Non smoking, but doors were blocked open while people smoked and smoke filled hall.

I couldn’t get an extra towel. It smelled like dog, cigarettes and weed when walking to the room. Pool closed at 8 but a guy that lives there said they can swim till 12 because he had a pool key. We checked in at 7:45 wanting to swim for about an hour.

This hotel is surrounded by shipping containers which limits parking in a dark, crowded lot. My daughter and I arrived at 10pm and did not feel comfortable parking in the back as directed because there were several groups of people drinking and hanging out in defunct automobiles directly in the lot. Inside, the room smelled strongly of mold and the beds were damp. I stay at Red Roofs all of the time--this one is truly gross.

Do not stay at this hotel. There was a hole in the outer window pane in our room, there were multiple light bulbs burned out (the light over the bathroom sink was one of them), the sheets were not changed while we were there, we ran out of soap in the shower, there were only two bath towels and two wash cloths per day, the available television channels was very limited, the floor in our room was not cleaned, and the chairs in the lobby were extremely worn. They had an entire section roped off that looked like they used to serve breakfast. It just seemed as though no effort was being put into the place.

This hotel should be closed down! It is in horrible condition! The smell was horrible, there is damage to the hotel all over, holes in the walls stuffed with Kleenex, mold in the bathroom, damaged carpet, cigarette burns in the duvet in a non-smoking room, noise through the walls. Way too much to mention! I can’t believe I paid $179:night to stay in this dump! Worse place I have ever stayed!

First thing we noticed was the smell of mold and mildew. After a few minutes in the room we noticed hair on the toilet, shower, and towels. Dark drips down the wall in the bathroom. There were dirt, crumbs, and debris all over the floor, the bed skirts were covered in hair from pets. There was mold in several places including the back of the upholstered chair. The outlets had brown gunk all over them. Sitting on the bed you could hear and feel the springs, it was so uncomfortable especially with my spine disorder I would not have been able to sleep on them. The comforter had holes in it, some obviously cigarette burned. The tv remote and door knobs were greasy. The door to the bathroom was so terribly repaired in so many places it was ridiculous. Honestly the worst and most disgusting experience I've had since 2010, there is no reason these days to pay almost $100 for a room that awful. Very unsanitary.

Stayed here for two nights and as we were checking out we noticed cockroaches crawling around from under the bed and under the TV stand. Talked to the front desk woman this morning and she said there’s “nothing she can do”, yet would still talk to the other people in the back about issuing a refund. Haven’t heard anything back though, of course. They were crawling all around our stuff so now we will have to clean all of that out. Absolutely disgusting. Do NOT stay here.

Our smoke detector had tape on it rather than a battery cover and it started beeping on our last night. The room was clean but there was only an office chair for seating in the photos it showed arm chairs to sit in so we ended up sitting on the bed the whole stay which isn’t ideal. But overall was a decent stay!

The overall outside appearance of this property was run down, the building, parking lot and landscaping. In side our room, our bathroom door would not close or shut properly. The air conditioner had accumulated a large puddle right under it, which seemingly has been causing the cheap laminate flooring to start stripping, warping and coming apart. And our entire bedding set was very wet when we laid down, the front desk brought new linen, overall not a very nice place

The only compliant I have is that the air conditioning unit in the room kept going from really loud to quiet. It sounded like there was something in it. It made it really hard to sleep. Other than that the hotel was good, no complaints about anything else.

We stayed here one night while travelling through Knoxville. The hotel is very tired and old and not very soundproof so is noisy due to the highway next to it. (Glad o had earplugs) We thought our room seemed relatively clean until we pulled the sheets back and saw that the comforter was visibly dirty. They quickly came and replaced it with a brand new one but it made us wonder what other corners are being cut. Beds were comfortable but we wouldn’t stay again.

My room had a strong smell of cigarette smoke the whole time I was there, and the toilet flush kept coming apart. The staff was fine & the bed was comfortable, but it was very inconvenient for anyone wanting to get into Knoxville every day (Lyft & Uber required 15-20 minute waits), and the only place to eat in walking distance was a Waffle House that was 3/4's of a mile away. I don't think I'll stay there again.

Hotel is in a safe area with 2 other hotels. Quick drive to downtown. Seems older, but mainly renovated. An odd amount of rusting since it is not near the ocean. (Bring your own hair dryer.) There was always fresh coffee available. Hotel does not have breakfast. The front office staff was helpful.

Room was ok..get what you pay for. Checking in was fast and pleasant,but then the next day my key cards didn’t work. I went to the front desk and told him they didn’t work and his reply was rudely stated that my debit card or phone -batteries messed the room keys up. I told him they had been in my clear bag all day…don’t roll your eyes at me I didn’t do it😡😩

Hotel is in a safe area with 2 other hotels. Quick drive to downtown. Seems older, but mainly renovated. An odd amount of rusting since it is not near the ocean. (Bring your own hair dryer.) There was always fresh coffee available. Hotel does not have breakfast. The front office staff was helpful.

We stayed here 1 night as we were attending a concert in the area. We didn’t spend much time there. It was clean, cheap, and served its purpose. Would recommend if you need something decent near the UT campus.

The room was dirty, damp feeling, and bed skirts were covered in mold/mildew. The entire property gives bad vibes. People in the parking lot standing around and watching you. We didn't even stay all night, leaving within 2hrs. When we were getting back in the car to leave with our two young children, a man started to approach us from across the parking lot. We started driving off still buckling in and said man was trying to get us to stop our vehicle. Needless to say, we won't be back or recommending. I left shaking and crying

It was a nice stay. Staff was nice and room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom a little dated and the paint of a couple of walls and all the entrance doors need to be painted and maintained, but those are just esthetic issues. Vending machines don’t take credit cards so being cash only is an inconvenience.

During booking it said breakfast included but in the morning the guy at the counter said they only provide coffee. Breakfast was discontinued after COVID but their listing still shows breakfast included. They should refund.

Very reasonably priced for a weekend. Comfortable bed. Nice shower. Nice hotel. They did advertise breakfast but then was told that they do not do breakfast anymore due to COVID.

This hotel was a dump. First room they gave us smelled of cigarettes and had blood on the floor. Second room was a little better but the whole place looked as if it had not been painted in 50 years and there was broken glass in the bathroom.

Thank goodness the Front desk attendant was blessed enough to let us check in a bit earlier than scheduled. We had been driving at 16 hours straight without sleep. The property overall is a bit dated and dilapidated. There is dog feces all around the grass areas. The room was not exactly clean but tolerable for those staying one night. Very nice showers and bathroom. The TV worked and happy to see a coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave. The location is VERY convenient to I-40 and other major roads. Sadly as in many other lodging businesses, the “tenants” smoke and glare often in designated non smoking areas. I hope this Red Roof gets a remodel.
