Heathman Hotel

The hotel was oversold due to a cliche in their new system so we had no rooms to check-in. They offered us to stay at the Hilton across the street- it was substandard and we went elsewhere. The only saving grace was the general manager Catherine who did her absolute best to make a bad situation as best as it could be. I would never stay at the Heathman again but Catherine was truly wonderful.

We have stayed at the Heathman a few times now, and while it is always a clean, welcoming and friendly - I was so sad to see they renovated and removed the sitting library area. There is a small seating section on the second floor with book shelves, but it just doesn’t have the same cozy feel as before. Rooms are always lovely and spacious. The suites are perfect for our small family. It is an easy walk to coffee, food, Powell’s, theaters, etc.

I booked on Hotels.com and was a little surprised when I checked in and was asked to pay an additional "resort fee" for each night of my stay. But the good location, welcoming and accommodating staff, and otherwise good value for the property allows me to overlook the fee. The fee apparently covers your access to the coffee service in the morning, bike rentals, and a daily use-it-or-lose-it $15 credit for the hotel restaurant.

58 USD for parking plus a 34 USD Resort fee puts the hotel into the 300 USD bracket but then linens windows shut forever und shower bathroom bed is not worth it. 8 USD for a pack of chips no water in room 300 USD hospitality looks different

Very clean, quiet. Food was very good. Staff very helpful in correcting a billing error. Construction in progress but clean and quiet. Hotel very good.
