Pretty simple. Issue with the elevator could go up from the lobby but the number one was broken so you had to take the stairs down. Just a sticky note in the elevator to indicate the down option wasn’t available

The floors were dirty and not mopped in the 3 days we were there. The gym eqipment was all broken and not useable, most of the weights were missing. There is supposed to be oatmeal for breakfast but there was none beause "no one ordered it" This hotel is ok if you want something cheap in all regards

Hotel was fine. However, a $5 per night per room charge for the parking in a lot that is in the middle of nowhere is a ridiculously silly charge to make extra money on their part.

Everything about the hotel was accommodating clean and friendly service. There were only a few things that I was disappointed about. 1.) I was charged a parking fee the day after I checked out this was not told to me and I felt it to be rediculous for the amount of money paid for one night to be charged a parking fee in the hotel parking lot. 2.) the pool was not heated it was too cold. Other than that I had no issues check in was pretty easy and fast.

Overall the hotel was dated and disappointing. The pool was closed and under repairs. The main area is in need of some new paint and minor renos. Skipped breakfast but do not think I missed much. Elevator was dirty and old and room had a musty smell when we came in. Light in the bathroom kept flickering and room was okay but nothing special. Picked hotel based on price but would not stay here again. One positive was the bed was comfy and slept soundly.

The staff was trying their best to make things run smoothly but they needed more support. The breakfast area wasn’t appropriately stocked, there was no milk and no coffee. The cream was spoiled and there seemed to be a few staff trying to do everything. The elevator was out of order as was the ice machine.

Decent room, comfortable bed, enough towels and decent shower, but was hoping for a swim in indoor pool, it was freezing! Breakfast had limited time. Evening staff at desk was not friendly, daytime staff more helpful. No written notice anywhere of check out time....usually there is some note in room, and couldnt see how to call fron desk from room phone! 😜

This property is in need of some serious renovations- for the amount of money spent for one night, you’d think it would be pretty decent. The furniture was beat up and banged around, curtains were stained, pillows smelled like cigarettes, bathroom door was iffy, door lock didn’t work, and everything in general was very dated. If you’re looking to stay in the Rochester area, don’t stay here.

Liked the price. Bed comfortable. No problem with housekeepers. All room surfaces were sticky. Frig freezer section had no door and was covered in thick ice. Refrig system had constant loud motor noise with other bubbling-like sounds. Got no sleep until long after midnight. Shower was properly large for mobility-challenged customers but floor tiles had large cracks and baseboard showed water damage. Sink area was small with poor lighting. One bedside light did not work. One outlet was loose-fitting. Parking lot surface was broken up. Definitely our worst hotel stay in many years. Our ratings average 4+/5 but not this time. Would never return.

The room was filthy. One of the pillowcases had fresh snot on it. There were crushed contacts on the carpet and chunks of food under the beds. We couldn’t find another place and so went and bought cleaners, linens, and air fresheners to make it bearable. Would not recommend at all.

The pull out bed had blood stains on the mattress from a previous person. The front desk said they could not give us a new one.And when he came up to inspect it, he actually said, "oh this is one of the nicer looking ones". We were expected to make the bed ourselves.And they gave us an extra set of sheets, which were stained and torn. There were dead bugs on the carpet floor in our room. The carpets throughout the entire hotel were dirty and stained. The lobby was filthy when we arrived.

The condition of this hotel is deplorable. The walls are banged up, the carpets are stained, there is mold surrounding the wind I frame in the room, the chairs in the dining area are all peeling, the room smells like someone used to smoke there.

We were traveling to and from Michigan and this hotel was about halfway for us. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I do wish they had been able to give me a receipt, however because I booked thru a third party they could not. It was not their fault and they were very nice about it. It was nice to be able to have breakfast there as it saved us time. Beds were comfortable and room was very clean

The hotel room was not clean. Feces was on the outer toilet, the toilet bowl had a brown ring in it. Hair was all over the bathroom floor and tub. The hallway carpets are so dirty. The elevator is slow and was very dirty as well.

At a glance it did appear very clean, but if you look under the shelves and behind the bed you can see all the dander and debris from previous travellers (we always do a bed bug check, thankfully we didn't see any). The second day they came and changed out our towels, but on the 3rd day we received a note that they were short staffed and that they'd come every other day but they didn't come back to clean until after we left. Also our mini fridge defrosted for over 6 hours and everything inside got warm/spoiled. There wasn't anything the staff could do because they were fully booked and short staffed. Otherwise, the staff was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and professional. The breakfast was delicious and both chefs I saw kept the dining room clean and I saw one help someone make a waffle, very sweet! In conclusion, I think that more staff would help the staff be more efficient and maybe keep a spare mini fridge or two on hand idk like it'd be nice if your own employees didn't have to use a public fridge for their own lunches...

I hated the room. I have no idea why they put us in a handicap room, but it was terribly laid out and extremely uncomfortable. Their "free" internet was the worst I've ever had the misfortune of using: inconsistent, dropping constantly, often couldn't get on at all; I couldn't even get my email on my laptop, much less watch a movie. Staff just shrugged and told me "it worked for them." The advertised TV was two, static-filled basic network channels. Breakfast was OK, no better and no worse than I would have expected from a place like this; staff was not especially helpful, and it was clear that my having to ask how to work the specialty handicap shower made me an inconvenience, but at least they weren't outright rude and pretended to be friendly. I go to Rochester 2-4 times a year, but I certainly won't be coming back to this hotel.

Check in was easy, no issues. There was nothing that stood out as bad or good. Room met our needs for the evening. Hotel could use some upgrading, bed comfort was below expectation. Thank you for a quick, quiet stay. We are planning to return to the area in October, however will more than likely be choosing a different hotel.

Room was decent but bathroom fan was not working. Door was kind of difficult and there was strange, brown residue on window, not sure if it was adhesive? Also, dry wall issues in ceiling above bed. TV remote didn't have correct command button to fix cable issues, one channel was stuck and 4-5 channels weren't working.

The floors are thin. So be prepared to hear the footsteps of the people upstairs. A bit annoying. Beds are comfortable the pool always has kids in it almost like big parties. So it can be loud. Overall a good value if your in the area for college visits

The room was clean but crowded. The refrigerator motor was so loud we unplugged it. And the heating unit was also noisy and we turned it completely off. Luckily it was not real cold out. The sink outside the toilet and shower was tiny and inconvenient. The electrical plug by the bed would not hold the plug to my CPap machine. Disappointing.

There was a small leak behind the toilet. I told them about it, but nobody did anything. I wanted to use the hotel computer to check in for my flight and the front desk couldn’t tell me the password to use it. Front desk staff were very short, housekeeping was very friendly.

When I arrived, I was told that "The hotel had overbooked this weekend and that there was no room available" but that "I would be upgraded to the Hilton just behind the hotel however the Hilton had no knowledge of this and they themselves were overbooked. Basically, I was told that they had cancelled my reservation at the front desk without any prior notice. For a hotel in the hospitality industry, their hospitality SUCKS!! I had to find my own hotel for my 12 year-old son and I. I will be complaining to their corporation I have never experienced such poor planning and response.

Upon entry, tv remote was missing, desk attendant related that he would get one from another room when he had time, half hour later, he supplied one that did not work on the tv. He thought my girlfriend was being aggressive at that point and threatened to call police. I told him that was fine even though this was not a police matter. The police arrived and told us to leave the premices and contact the third party( hotels . Com) for a refund.

The Service was bad we didn’t receive any towels when we talked to the front desk receptionist he told us there was no clean towels available also when we called the front desk they didn’t answer the call and finally there was no supervisors or managers to answer our request at night time.

We were traveling to and from Michigan and this hotel was about halfway for us. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I do wish they had been able to give me a receipt, however because I booked thru a third party they could not. It was not their fault and they were very nice about it. It was nice to be able to have breakfast there as it saved us time. Beds were comfortable and room was very clean

I booked and paid for the hotel room 1week ahead of time, but during checkin they said my room was given to someone by mistake and they were overbooked. It’s totally ridiculous and unacceptable. When someone is checking in late night with family and the hotel staff says they are overbooked and the reserved room was given to someone. I called up the hotel twice ahead of time on my way to inform I will be checking-in late, they said the room was under my name and It was okay for me to arrive late, all lies. It was a terrible experience… I will never ever go to any other Comfort Suits hotel anymore..None of the Choice hotels anymore, stay away from this place.. I ended up paying a lot if money to find another hotel(good one) in the area, it was past midnight by the time we hit the bed… I have to still get my money back from this hotel.

Came into town for a graduation event and found all hotels in the area had extremely high rates. The hotel location was great, and staff were friendly. Breakfast was ok, and quiet atmosphere was good. During normal demand, with normal rates, the value would be fine, but seemed a bit overvalued for what we paid.

Elevator broke 3 times in 4 days. Was told many of the staff quit so breakfast was late Monday+Tuesday. Shout out to Desk Clerk who I'm told made breakfasts on Monday. Tuesday we left before breakfast at 7 AM. Scheduled for 6. All told if they were short handed they did well.

Overall it was fine. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Front desk service was not all that great and the breakfast was cold and things were empty even though there was still 30 min left until the end. And apparently they charge you to park your car in their lot. Not like you really have a choice.

The person working late night was very kind and accommodating, though warned that she wasn’t sure when breakfast would be served since the person in charge of it was always late. Sure enough, the next morning, when I went to eat the complimentary breakfast at 8 (an hour before it ended) the service area was in shambles. Charred black waffles on both sides of the iron, no waffle batter left, a chafing dish with shriveled eggs and the meat side was completely empty. When I asked the front desk if it could be replenished, they nodded, as the man in charge of breakfast sat within view of all guests, in a small area right off the breakfast service area, causally looking up at us every once in a while while playing on his phone. The biggest negatives were maintenance and the pool. Our toilet was leaking from the bottom, so the bathroom floor was constantly wet. The indoor pool was also FREEZING and extremely cloudy, which made me uncomfortable enough to question whether the water/chemicals were being properly maintained. Overall, it served its purpose as an inexpensive place to sleep in a convenient location, and the staff deserves credit for being lovely. But the property itself needs some attention. It worked for a budget stopover, but it wouldn’t be on our list for a future stay.

Our WiFi did not work, our room and the hallway smelled horrible, shower had terrible pressure, drain in sink was very slow, the bedspreads had unknown white stains on the. The sheets had blood stains. One ice machine and it was out of order. Compared to other hotels we’ve stayed at, this was poor.

A little dated and well used but...everything felt really clean!! Super convenient right off the highway. Not even 10 minutes to RIT. Already have rooms booked again here. Its not the Waldorf so keep your expectations right and you will find this place is great.

The pullout couch needs a new mattress. The mattress that was there was terribly stained and nasty. The bathroom was not clean. The drain in the tub was clogged and looked moldy, disgusting. The toilet was not clean, even when we walked in.
