The downstairs bar tender was nice but certainly not punctual. I do not recall her name, but she was of African American decent with afro resembled hair maybe early to mid-30's. There were only 4 people at the bar, yet she took an extended amount of time to return when we asked for anything. She was not knowledge about the menu and did not offer personal favorites. She did not engage in conversation with us yet had no trouble talking amongst her colleagues. We had the butternut squash which was bland, and offered no flavor. The kale salad was lacking any flavor except a lettuce taste. I certainly did not feel welcomed. Our dinning time was unimpressionable. Our room was gorgeous and the snacks/drinks were delightful. The television was our biggest concern. No matter what channel we turned to, there was a continuous glitch making the words of the show delayed with its actions. I would think a better quality television or, at least the opportunity to log into our own streaming platform, would be available for the price that we had to pay. We considered ordering room service, but refrained due to a 20% gratuity plus a $5 additional charge. That seemed a bit extreme. When checking out my vehicle with the valet, it would have been nice to have been given a chance to tip through the app. I did not have cash to give him.

The expectations were high, but the experience was missed. We were excited to stay here due to the hype of Magnolia but unfortunately the lobby is the most exciting part of the hotel. The rooms are subpar and the hotel itself was decent. There have been many more hotels that were so detailed oriented but this one was not so much. Take a tour of the lobby area and you get the most exciting part of the hotel.

Nice hotel with very helpful staff. The food was good, but a little pricey. Our room was good, but quite small for the price we paid. The matress sank when you slept on it. It would have been nice to have a parking garage and walkway instead of only valet parking. The hotel was close to nice restaurants and the silos.
